chapter thirty-four: stupid lost souls
"Nic, parang ayokong pumasok."
Halos sampung minuto na yata kaming nakaupo sa loob ng kotse niya. Parehas naming ayaw bumaba. Paano na lang kami papasok? Anong mukhang ihaharap namin ngayong may issue si Senator Monreal?
"Well, we cannot not go out." Pero hindi din siya kumilos para lumabas. "s**t," he whispers.
"Pwede bang dito na lang tayo?"
"No," he says. "You heard what Epps said. If we don't come to school then it'll look like we're really hiding something."
I sigh as I take my seatbelt off. Bakit ko nga ba 'to pinasok? Ugh. Noong una ang iniisip ko lang 'yung image ko na magr-reflect kay Senator Monreal. Pero hindi ko naisip na 'yung image niya 'yung makakaapekto sa'kin. Ouch.
