Nick slowly opened the door of the room where Kaisley was lying. Kaisley turned her back on Nick's direction. Just as he left Kaisley, the young woman still like that. Kaisley was still lying while wrapped in a thick blanket.
Nick closed the door again after watching Kaisley. Nick let out a sigh and walked towards the kitchen. It's been three days, but the girl's fever still doesn't seem to go down. Nick couldn't think of another way so he bravely called a friend to ask for help with it. Nick even shook his head because he did not want to think what his friend Joe thought about the two of them, but Nick had no choice but to ask him even if it was against his will.
Strangely enough, Joe answered from the other line after the three rang.
