"Ang tagal mo naman?" Tanong ko kay Millicent nang dumating siya. Kanina pa ako naiinip rito sa garden.
"Nakipaghabulan pa kasi si Starth sa akin."
"I see."
"Kanina ka pa ba rito?"
"Around half an hour, maybe?"
She avoided my gaze. "Sorry."
"Nakausap mo na ang mama mo?" I asked as I lean my back on the small bridge. When Manang Esmeralda and other gardeners started to plant real plants here they also put some koi ponds for more attraction of the place.
"Si Amelou ang may hawak ng cellphone ni mama."
I never heard her name. Maybe that Amelou is her sister?
"What happened?"
"Binabaan ako ng cellphone ng bruha." She answered that made me curious.
"You don't usually use the word bruha but all of a sudden you use it. I want to know what's with her."
