"'M-ma..." I bit my lower lip to suppress a sob.
Nandito pa rin ako sa Fire Exit at nakaupo habang nakataas ang mga tuhod. I decided to call Mama to tell everything. Besides, I badly need her right now.
"M-Melissa? Bakit? Bakit hindi ka pa nga pala nakakauwi sa bahay? Nagkita na ba kayo ni Jason? Nakadaan ka na ba sa Eye Care? Ano'ng sabi ng nakausap mo ro'n?" I could sense the excitement in her voice.
I bit my wrist as hot tears stream all over my cheeks. My heart scorched in pain. I am afraid of Mama's reaction if she will know the truth.
Inalis ko na ang p"'M-ma...h-hanap na lang po tayo ng ibang donor n'yo..." nagpalis ako ng luha.
She got silent suddenly on te other line. Kung hindi pa yata siya muling nagsalita ay magtatanong ako.
