Chapter 9- In the Training Field

Ilang oras din ang biniyahe namin and it was actually fun. Matagal tagal nadin akong hindi nakapag road trip dahil sa parents kong strict pa sa police that they won't even let me out kahit bibili lang ng mga kakainin sa labas.

Nang tumigil si Bryan sa labas ng isang itim na building. It may have ten floors or maybe eight kase hindi masyado maintindihan ang design nito sa labas. It was actually tall but not as tall as the building beside of it. Kinuha naman bigla ni Bryan ang kamay ko at kinaladkad ako papasok ng building.

Nang makarating kami ng entrance ay agad naman akong bumuklas sa pagkakahawak nito and gave him a glare ngunit tinitigan nya lamang ako at naunang manglakad.

Pinanood ko naman sya kung paano nya kinuha ang cellphone nito sa pocket nya at I think he dialed something on his phone dahil agad nya itong nilgay sa tenga nya at parang may sinasabi. All I did is to follow him until we reached the elevator. Pumasok naman kaming dalawa and he pressed something for us to move up.

Tahimik lang kami sa loob and the door eventually opened when we reached the fifth floor. And as usual, naka sunod lang ako sa kay Bryan sa likod nito dahil hindi ko talaga alam kung saan pupunta. Pumasok kami sa isang room na everything seems has the color black. Bryan closed the door behind us and he immediately went closer to an enormous black cabinet. I was surprised to see a lot of guns. Sari saring mga baril iyon and what really amazed me is that there was a door that was secretly hid from there.

Tinitigan ako ni Bryan ng maigi and I looked at him confusedly.

"What are you waiting for? Come here so I could take you to the training station," saad nya saakin na naiinis.

"Calm down okay. Wala talagang oras na mabait ka sakin," ani ko sa kanya. He could do so much better if he will just smile and treat me like a normal person.

Pumasok ako sa pinto na iyon at it was actually a small elevator and it was made by a thick metal. Sumunod naman si Bryan at we rode the elevator pababa by seeing the button he pressed. And again, it was quiet not until he scooted near me and made me whined quietly.

We reached our place and the door immediately opened. Naunang lumabas si Bryan ng elevator and the room was actually cool. Parang hindi sya training ground na nakikita sa movie, it looks like a gaming room but malapad lang ito compare sa mga ilang room na nakikita ko. Maybe the actual size of it is like a double size of a basketball court.

"Go there and pick your gun," biglang saad sa akin ni Bryan na nakatayo sa unahan ko. Tiningnan ko naman kung saan sya nakaturo and it was a table na parang wala namang laman. I looked at him na parang hindi na niniwala and he also gave me his dull stare. Parang mangangain naman to ng tao.

"Alright, then anong gagawin ko don?" Tanong ko dito.

"I told you to choose a gun. By the way, yung nasa right side ng drawer lang yung kunin mo. It's not a real gun. Yun nalang muna gamitin mo since I know you're still don't get what and how to use it," ani naman nito.

"Wait, I thought you would be teaching me about this gun thing for the second week of the month. Bat ang agaran naman yon."

"Stop complaining and just do what I want. Tigas mo talaga eh no?" Naiinis nitong sambit. Now I realized, it was actually fun to get into his nerves.

I raised my shoulder and made my way to the table that he keeps on mentioning. I went closer to it and it clearly shows the cool aura even the table has it. I opened the drawer it and saw some familiar guns that I used to see in the movie. I actually have seen this way back home kay papa but I forgot how to use it since I was prohibited to use it when I started to reach sixteen. I know it's weird but that was my dad's rule.

I took the pink one it was not that much heavy. It feels like that real gun but the ammo of it is a rubber only. Ikinasa ko naman ito at tumingin kay Bryan sa kabilang side ng room and he was looking at me intently. Itinutok ko naman sa kanya ang baril and he didn't even flinched or tried to avoid it. I suddenly think of something. I shoot him by this fake pistol and nakita kong na tamaan sya sa balikat nito. Umiling iling naman ang ulo nito bago naupo sa couch na malapit sa kanya.

"I– just do whatever you want. Just please stop being a child and shoot the red thing you see infront of you. Wake me up if you're confident enough na so we could the duel that I know you want," saad nya sakin and natulog sa taas ng couch.

"I didn't said I want a battle with you. Bryan!" Hindi manlang ako pinansin and wala naman akong choice at hahayaan nalang sya don matulog. Tumingin naman ako sa harap ko. Nakita ko naman ang anim na bilog na may pula sa gitna. I don't know what they called it but parang pang target sya kaso mas malaki ito compara sa target sa archery.

I started to shoot it without using the headset kase rubber lang naman sya. I actually hit the place near the red and sometimes a missed the board. Narinig ko naman bigla na bumukas ang pinto sa likod ko kaya napatingin naman ako agad. Dalawang lalaki iyon na gulat naman silang nakita ako dito. Bigla akong kinabahan na baka kilala nila ako and they might tell my dad na nandito ako ngunit they just checked me out at nag bulungan sa isa't isa. I gave them a disgust look and the two of them immediately left and pumunta sa kabilang side ng station. Tumingin naman ako sa kinalalagyan ni Bryan at tulog parin ito.

I went back to my own business and I actually enjoyed shooting the target. Ilang minuto ko din yun ginawa at naramdaman ko naman na lumapit si Bryan sakin sa likod.

"How was it? Magaling kana?" Tanong nito sakin habang lumalapit sa lugar ko. I know he is being sarcastic pero nakakainis. Sasabayan ko nalang ito para naman hindi ako mag mukhang sabog in his eyes.

"Of course I am. So, versus like ngayon na?" Tanong ko dito.

"How was it? Magaling kana?" Tanong nito sakin habang lumalapit sa lugar ko. I know he is being sarcastic pero nakakainis. Sasabayan ko nalang ito para naman hindi ako mag mukhang sabog in his eyes.

"Of course I am. So, versus like ngayon na?" Tanong ko dito.

"Game," he smirked.

And that's it, we spent the whole morning and afternoon spending our time inside the station having a duel and bickering everytime we interact. I really can't deny that he's good at everything and it surprised me also na I enjoyed his accompany. That afternoon, he let me used the real gun and I'm glad na wala ng tao sa loob ng room except samin. It's just, nakakahiya talaga dahil kung saan saan ko to naiitutok ang baril. I know it's normal na magkamali but it's just so embarrassing. The real gun was a bit heavier than I think it is pero na handle ko naman ito ng mabuti.

Nang dumating ang hapon, umuwi naman kami agad dahil sabi ni Bryan bawal daw kami magpagabi ngayon. It was longer drive kase madaming bumabyahe kung hapon and yeah, a full traffic. Ilang oras kami na stuck sa ilang traffic sa highway but I was surprised to know na madaming pasikot sikot na nalalaman si Bryan sa daan dito. We arrived at home after a half an hour and pagpasok ng bahay ay nakita naman naming mag kasama si Felix and Elaine na nanonood ng TV sa living room.

"Oh you two, saan kayo galing?" Tanong ni Felix but I think kay Bryan talaga yun naka laan na tanong. Tumingin lamang ako kay Bryan nahinihintay ang sagot nya but he just brushed his shoulder off and umalis. I'm sure sa kwarto nya naman iyon.

Nakita ko namang sumunod si Felix kay Bryan sa taas kaya pumunta na lamang ako kay Elaine at tumabi sa kanya sa couch.

"Where have you been?" Tanong ni Elaine sakin nang makatabi na ako dito. I smiled at her and lean my back on the backrest of the couch.

"That dude took me somewhere. Sa Kawit kami galing and sa training station ata yun. He said it was the training field na binibisitahan ng ilang member dito sa cavite," ani ko.

"Oh yeah I know about it. Pero akala ko next week pa yung training sa gunnery field. Bryan has been acting so so– alam mo yung hindi naman sya ano– wait..." nagtaka naman ako nang bigla syang tumigil. I watched her brows knitted and lumingon lingon ito sa paligid namin.

"What?" Patawa kong tanong.

"Nothing. Joke lang yun hindi ko naman yon inaano or something," saad nya at tumawa bigla. I looked at her confusedly at tumawa nalang din ako sa kabaliwan nya.

Ngayong gabi ay si Elaine na naman ang nagluto ng hapunan and I deicided to go to my room to have may space alone. Naglalakad ako pataas nang bigla kong nakita si Felix at Bryan na nag uusap malapit sa terrace. Kitang kita ko sila by that transparent glass and it looks like parang seryoso ang pinag uusapan ng dalawa sa malayo. While I was staring at them, nakita naman ako ni Bryan na nakatitig sa kanila kaya agad naman ako napatingin papalayo. I immediately made my way to my room and agad ito nilock.

I brought out my phone that they Capo's crew gave me from my pocket at agad pinaandar ang wifi and I spent my time muna na nag scroll through my social media accounts. Bigla nalang ako nagulat ng bumukas ng pamilit ang pinto ng kwarto ko at makikitang nakatayo si Bryan sa pinto ko.

"You brat, stop using your social media!" He angrily said. Luh, anong nangyayari dito like duh buhay ko to, wala syang pake.

"And why?"

"You dumb– just stop using your social media. Log it all out and don't you ever go online again," saad nito. His voice changed after that. Bigla ko din naisip na wag din talaga ako mag online dahil baka makita to ng dad ko at mag papanic na naman yun and I'm sure they will locate me here.

"Alright sir. Calm dow I'm turning it off na," saad ko dito at nag smile sa kanya. Bryan hissed before leaving my room. Ay grabe ka.

I turned my attention to my phone and quickly log all of it from my phone. Nag download nalang din ako ng ilang games for me to not get bored here.

Dumating ang gabi at niyaya naman ako ni Elaine na bumaba na for dinner and I immediately obliged dahil kanina pa talaga ako nagugutom. Nang bumaba kami ay hindi namin nakita si Felix at tsaka sk Bryan. We really don't even know kung san yung dalawa pumupunta kung gabi. Nauna nalang kaming kumain while talking about everything na pumapasok sa utak namin. We left the other two some foods after dinner at agad naman kaming lumabas ni Elaine.

We spotted Felix near the tower that the two started to build since yesterday. Hindi naman sya tower na building, what I mean is that they have been building a tower na ewan kung ano yan. Basta may parang plato sa taas na hindi ko din alam kung anong purpose non.

Mag isa lang don si Felix at hindi ko mahanap si Bryan sa kahit saang paligid. We went closer to Felix and asked him kung saan si Bryan.

"Bryan actually went back to the warehouse kase pinapatawag sya ni Capo. He will eventually come home mga mamayang hating gabi or bukas ng umaga," sagot naman sa amin ni Felix at nagpatuloy sa ginagawa nito.

We left hin there at naglakad lakas muna kami ni Elaine sa yard bago bumalik papasok ng bahay dahil lumalamig na ang gabi.
