~Monroe~ I raise the glass to my lips, taking a sip of the cool liquid. It burns going down my throat, but I welcome the feeling. I hate that I feel this way, but I guess it’s to be expected. I’m nervous because I’m about to be married. Jaylene and I have worked out the details and signed the contract. This needs to happen to keep her safe, and so I can get the revenge I deserve. Regardless of the why, this is still a legal marriage and I’m scared sh.itless. We went for no frills or extras, knowing that we had to get this done as soon as possible.
