Reaper of Hearts
Updated at Jun 29, 2023, 13:19
The wounds leaked ichor profusely. Cassidy reached a hesitant hand out, her fingers pressing one of the wounds. Thanatos shifted, his eyes fluttering as he groaned.  A strange notion overcame Cassidy, and before she could stop herself, she leaned forward. She pressed her lips softly to a weeping wound on Thanatos wrist.  The jangle of bells filled the dark room, silencing the terse conversation. Heat thrummed in the center of Cassidy's body. The hair stood up on her arms as something ancient and pissed clawed its way out of her.  She pulled back, her lips coated in ichor. It burned on her skin. She spoke, the words odd in her mouth. "Arammia dul." Light exploded out of her body in a razing fire. She was thrown back, as the power covered Thanatos.  Hades cursed hotly, snatching Cassidy from the floor. His hands were icy on her burning flesh as he dragged her away from Thanatos. The room grew dark, and she blinked sluggishly. Being a reaper is all Cassidy has known for the last two decades of her afterlife. Now a merger between the Afterlife Agency and Love Limited leaves her an intern for cupidity's sake! Can Cassidy overcome her aversion to pink long enough to unearth a deadly plot and learn that sometimes love can come in unexpected packages?

Moon-Bride: The Alpha's Reluctant Wife
Updated at Jun 27, 2023, 10:13
"Do you think I would hurt you? You were hand-selected for me by the Goddess." "I don't know what to think. I have waited the last two years to be claimed by you. I arrive here and I have been essentially ignored!" He stepped into me, his luminous golden eyes razing me with the stoked flames burning in their depth. "Syndony, I want to love you. I have never wanted anything more than to love you!" His words were a fervent plea as he snatched my hand. "No, you wanted a Bride. A walking womb. Nothing more, nothing less." Ice settled in my chest. I could never love a monster that only wanted me for my ovaries. "So here I am, Husband. A ripe field to plow." He staggered back, my words cutting him as sharply as any knife. He turned his wounded gaze on me, but I steeled myself. I would not allow myself to believe this could ever be anything more than a business arrangement. I was a means to an end for the Weres. The continuation of their race. A broodmare. Syndony Timms had known she would be a Moon-Bride since the year she turned sixteen. Now she has finally been claimed by her Alpha husband. When Alpha Xander Cross meets his goddess-blessed mate, he only wants to love her. Regardless of her humanity. Will his love thaw her icy heart? Or will they be torn apart by the world they are trying to rebuild?

Spellbound: The Mercenary Queen and Her Three Fae Princes
Updated at Jun 21, 2023, 12:02
“Enough!” Tobin’s hands closed around Bailey’s shoulders, physically hauling her off Beckett. His body was slicked with his own brand of magick, protecting him against hers. “Stop this!” She didn’t fight him. Once she gained her feet, back to him, she allowed herself to drop into his body. She fit herself against his frame and grabbed his hands on her shoulders. “Your magick won’t save you, Tobin.” The moment stretched between them, before he found himself on the floor with no knowledge of how he’d gotten there. “Now…I just need one more to complete the set. The wild magicks demand a price. Three souls. The portal took its payment, now I need mine.” Gemma stared at her friend, her sister. “What are you doing, B?” “Tying up loose ends.” Bailey replied distractedly. “Ah, got him.” There was an audible popping sound, then Jayce was in the floor with Beckett and Tobin. “Jarylo, nice of you to join us.” Jayce’s eyes rounded and he attempted to stand. He couldn’t find purchase on the floor and instead attempted to scramble away. “No. Now. Mabon, Cernunnos, and Jarylo, you are hereby bound by your true names! You are bound to serve the portal and this Inherent.” She gestured at herself. “By true name I call you.” The room grew heavier, darker, her magick swirling tight around her body, earth, fae, and wild fae. She leaned forward, touching each elf prince on his throat. “Now you bear my mark, and are tied to me.” She threw her head back, a manic laugh bubbling out of her. “From now until death claims us all, you are Mine! Bound by night, by the storm, by all Chaos itself. So mote it be!” The clan house shook on its foundation as a thunderclap of magick imploded on them all. Bailey Fee just wanted to find her grandfather's killer. When three Fae Princes crash into her orbit, she decides to use what the Goddess gave her. Name-bound is marriage in Faerie, and with three Fae Princes as Sparks at her side, she will find the asshole who is pulling the strings behind the scenes. Welcome to Faerie!
