"I want what's mine woman. And that includes you."

After being betrayed and losing her virginity to an unknown man, Birdie Samuel is rejected by her mate, isolated by her pack and imprisoned within it.

She gives birth to triplets and lives like a slave in her pack until one day when the Alpha sells her over to a mad scientist for experimentation and eventually she dies.

However, blessed by the moon goddess, she returns to the moment after having s*x with an unknown man and escapes the pack. This time round, she rebuilds her life as the wealthy Queen of the multicolored wolf shifters and intends to have her revenge.

She doesn't count on the sudden appearance of Lycan Prince and Millionaire Alpha Hunter Blaise the real father of her children or his determination to have her and them in his life.

Birdie Samuel was a beautiful, unwanted outcast in her own pack. This isolation started when her mother remarried after the death of her father, Byron Samuel, the Alpha of the Skyview pack, during a regular boarder patrol. It was claimed that a rogue wolf killed him. Drew West, his friend, who she suspected had a hand in his death, quickly took over his position as Alpha and husband. Birdie was ten when this happened. Her father's corpse was not even cold inside the ground when West declared himself alpha, because the dead alpha had only two children and both were female. Lord knows a bunch of men would lose their heads if a female became alpha of the pack. Birdie found it ridiculous that, in this modern day, some people still believed one ruled with their private parts rather than their head. She had challenged West and lost badly in the fight. She did not lose because she was weak. Birdie was one of the strongest wolves in Skyview. Her strength was so unnatural for her age that a few male wolves envied and hated her. She lost because the coward West clawed her in the back and hit her on the head when she turned around to head to her corner before facing her opponent. She never even had a chance to fight. The rest of the pack were cowards and remained silent. West and his goons banished her father's betas, who refused to surrender to his rule, which left her alone and unprotected. After securing his position as alpha of skyview, West remained paranoid. He believed that there were those in the pack who doubted and questioned his leadership. He believed they remained true to the dead alpha and his eldest daughter, so he figured bedding the Luna and the widow of the dead alpha and making himself a father to her children would minimize the rumblings. Against her advice, Birdie's mother, Brianna, married West. She bore him two children, a boy, Westley, and a girl, Adella. In the beginning, Westley pretended to be loving and caring. He played the role of a dutiful father so well that a small part of Birdie began to tolerate him. But after his own children were born, Westley changed. There was no room for pretend love anymore. Birdie and her sister Barbie started spotting black eyes that could not be explained. Broken bones that were swept away under excuses of clumsiness. Malnourishment was attributed to poor appetites or a desire to be beautiful, so they were dieting. Her mother watched silently, even encouraging West and egging him on. As long as his fists were not being used on her, she didn't care where they landed. Birdie took most of these beatings on behalf of Barbie, because while she could bear the brunt of it with her strength, Barbie was weaker. Every beating damaged her body and her confidence. Eventually, she became so withdrawn that she committed suicide at the age of sixteen. Birdie cried and buried her alone in the woods. Her mother did not join her for the burial. She was busy tending to her new family and presentable beautiful children to care about what happened to them. As if abuse from her step-father was not enough, her step-siblings joined in on the fun. Her brother Westley enjoyed pinching her until her skin bruised red. Sometimes he used sharp objects and only let go once he saw that she was bleeding. When she pinched him back or fought him off, he would go running to his father, who would have her chained, whipped and hung up in the little prison dungeon in the cellar of the house. She was punished like this so often that the room was known as Birdies cell. Adella was the worst. She would cut Birdies' clothes, pour piss on her bed and spread all sorts of rumors about her. She went around telling people that she was a w***e and had aborted a child. In the pack, she now had a terrible reputation as a slut and married women did not want her associating with their husbands. Mothers did not want their daughters to initiate any contact with her. People usually walked the other way when they saw her. Some of them even spat and cursed her. They looked at her as if she was a disgusting beast. Birdie could not help but cry herself to sleep on the tiny mattress and thin blanket which provided no warmth night after night. She remembered how those same people longed to be in her presence when her father was still alive. They brought their children and pleaded for her to accept their friendship. They followed her on runs and copied her dressing style. The ill-fitting clothes they call slutty today were once trendy. Once upon a time, they hailed her strength. And now they call her freak. She was forbidden from going on any runs during the night of the full moon. She was also forbidden from shifting into her wolf form. If she did, she would be caged for a whole month and fed nothing but scraps and two bottle-tops of water per day. It had been so long since Birdie had last shifted that she could not feel her wolf anymore. Its almost like she had disappeared one piece at a time or been yanked out of her at once. The loss of her wolf was truly the stroke that broke the camel's back. Alone and invisible in the pack, Birdie's only remaining source of happiness was spending time with her betrothed and mate, Kyle Morales. He was her source of strength and she considered him to be her father's last gift to her. He had promised her that they would wed and leave the pack as soon as he got his inheritance. It amazed Birdie so much that, despite the false rumors tarnishing her reputation which were going around, Kyle chose to trust her. He never once questioned her about the rumor and when she tried to explain that it was slander, he had stopped her and said it did not matter because their love was stronger than any slander. Because of his unending gift of trust, she loved him whole heartedly. Birdie would give anything for Kyle. The only reason she stayed alive was to be his wife and mother of his children. Kyle's father was a wealthy man. An investment banker. He also owned a cash-making resort which Kyle had been promised to inherit after their wedding. The Morales and Samuel family had known each other for over fifty years now. They were also business partners. The friendship between their fathers had run so deep that they decided to betroth their children in marriage after they came of age. After the wedding, the Samuels would give the Morales family their thirty percent share in the resort. These shares were in Birdies' name. And then the Morales family would declare Kyle the husband of Birdie, owner of the resort. Her father figured the children born to Birdie and Kyle would inherit the resort anyway. They would be family forever. The contract was signed by both her parents and Kyle's. For years, Kyle and Birdie were inseparable. They were childhood sweethearts who shared a deep love and bond. The kind of love people write books and songs about. He stood by her side when her father died and advised her to keep her head down and wait for the right time to avenge him. His family moved away from the pack compound and into the new villas they built ten miles away from the pack but they stayed in contact. He came back after Barbie died and stayed for about two weeks before leaving again. But they spoke every day, and texted. When she made eighteen, Birdie got a job as a waitress and used that opportunity to spend time with Kyle as much as possible. She pushed for the marriage to happen as soon as possible but he kept telling her to wait. Because she loved him, she did not grow suspicious and waited patiently. Something changed, however, after she made twenty-six. For years, Kyle had been communicative, caring and loving. He had even promised to help her carry out her revenge after the wedding, but now, he was distant. He rarely picked up her calls or answered her texts. He kept claiming he was busy with work. When she went to his office to see him, she was turned away because he was always in a meeting. His family members were avoiding her as well. They smiled when they met her, but she had learned over the years to tell a genuine smile from a fake one. Birdie intended to find out what they were hiding from her. Using her knowledge of computers and technology, she hacked his phone and got his location. He was staying at the Essex hotel in the next town. She got on her motorbike, which she bought with the savings from money she earned by working as a waitress, and went to the hotel.
