Eriana took a seat on one of the plush white couches and crossed her legs as she leaned back. I leaned against the wall, watching her stare off into space. She was absolutely perfect. I could finally smell her again and if I wasn’t careful, I would f**k her right here.

She snapped out of her thoughts and looked at me and bit her bottom lip. This woman was going to ruin me.

“Why are you all the way over there, Derion?” She asked seductively.

“Where do you want me to be, Eriana?”

She uncrossed her legs and recrossed them as she looked at me, her eyes dark with lust.

“I seem to recall you telling me that you wanted a taste,” she said as she leaned forward, exposing her breast to me.

“You’re clearly drunk.”

“And very, very horny. By that tent you’re pitching, I can tell you want me just like I want you.”

“You have no idea how I want you.”

“Why don’t you show me then?”

She walked over to me and ran her hands over my chest. I couldn’t tell if she could feel the sparks or not but I could and it was driving me crazy.

“Mm, you smell so good,” she said as she leaned closer to me.

“I know, I thought you’d like it,” I said with a smirk.

“Come to the couch with me,” she said as she took my hand. I let her pull me to the couch and she pushed against my chest, wanting me to sit down. I did as she wanted and she got on top of me, straddling my lap. She leaned in and kissed me with her feather soft lips. She went to pull away when I grabbed the side of her neck and pulled her back to me. She parted her lips slightly and I took the opportunity to slip my tongue into her mouth. We kissed with such passionate and lust induced fervor it left my head swimming. She pulled away to breathe and I smelled just how aroused she was. I’m sure whatever underwear she was wearing was soaked.

“You are mine, Eriana,” I said with a growl.

“Yes, daddy. I’m all yours,” she whispered in my ear.

CHAPTER 1
Eriana wiped the sweat from her brow as she looked at the stack of dishes that seemed to never end. She exhaled as she walked back to the front to greet and seat the group of men who walked into the small diner. She wanted nothing more than to close for the night so she could go home to her boyfriend, Darius and surprise him for their 5th anniversary. She hoped tonight would be the night he finally proposed. After 5 years, a baby, and two apartments, she thought it was high time she got a ring. She walked over to the group of newcomers and put on her best and brightest smile. She looked up at the three men and immediately noticed how handsome they all were. They dressed casually, but they looked like they just stepped out of a magazine. “Hey, y’all! Welcome to Bre’s!” She spoke in the most confident and friendly tone she could muster after a 13-hour shift. “Good evening, beautiful,” the front man greeted her with a bright smile. She blushed at the compliment, and she could have sworn she heard a growl from one of the other men. She shook her head and thought she was definitely tripping because people don’t growl. Clearly being on her feet for 13 hours was taking a toll on her. “Aw, thank you,” she gushed. “If you fine gentlemen will follow me, I’ll show you to your seats. Would you like a booth or a table? We’re pretty empty, so you have your pick of the place.” She gestured at the nearly empty restaurant. “Wherever we can see your beautiful face the best is where we’ll sit,” the second man said sweetly as he stumbled forward a little. “Well, I guess the bar would be the best place for that,” she replied with a small chuckle. Eriana was used to men hitting on her while she worked. She has been a server at Bre’s since she was 16, and it was basically the same every day. “Perfect!” the first man said. As Eriana led them to the bar, she felt a pair of eyes boring into her backside. She figured if she had an audience that she might as well put on a show. She sashayed and swung her full hips as she walked around the bar to take their orders. She knew she could get a pretty decent tip from the group, so she worked her magic. She pulled out her notepad as the men sat down and took the first two men’s order. As she moved to the last man, she looked up from her pad and gasped internally at just how handsome he was. She looked into his eyes and Eriana completely lost herself. She took in his beautiful masculine features and studied every inch of his perfect face. He looked like someone had chiseled him from stone. He truly looked like a god amongst men. She admired the fullness of his pink lips against his deep chocolate skin tone. He wore diamond studs in his ears that shone almost as brightly as his smile. His almond eyes narrowed as he watched her, and she could almost feel the heat radiating from his body, inviting her in. She suddenly noticed a deep scar on his cheek and anger washed over her. This man was perfect, and she hated whoever or whatever had harmed him. She reached out to touch his face when he caught her hand, bringing her back to her senses. His touch sent a jolt of electricity through her and she flinched as he clenched his jaw. “Oh! I am so sorry,” she apologized profusely. “It’s perfectly fine, gorgeous, but we’re kind of starving so if you wouldn’t mind?” His deep voice reverberated through her, causing a chill to run down her spine. “Of course, I’m sorry!” She apologized again. “What can I get you tonight?” “I’ll have two burgers, an order of fries, and tots with a large strawberry milkshake,” he responded without looking up from his menu. “No problem, I’ll get that going for you right now.” “After that, I’ll have a taste of you,” he teased as he looked up from his menu at her. Eriana drew a sharp breath and stepped back as she felt her treasure moisten at the thought. “Oh, I-I have a-a um, boyfriend,” she stuttered in reply. She drew back as she felt the anger roll off of him. His anger quickly dissipated and a sad expression took its place. She wasn't afraid, but his reaction was irrational and that was a red flag for her. “I’m sorry, beautiful. I didn’t mean to scare you,” he responded, voice riddled with guilt and worry. He moved to reach out to her. She drew away from him and took a few steps backward. “Oh, it’s okay,” she said as she hurried back to the kitchen feeling like a moron. Eriana I was really making a fool of myself tonight. “What the f**k, Eri!?” I mumbled to myself. I washed a few dishes as Ray cooked the orders, and I let my thoughts take over and wondered why the hell I felt the need to touch this man. Why the hell did I stutter and suddenly feel bad about being in a relationship, I love Darius. Most importantly, why was I so turned on by this man? I continued to berate myself mentally until Ray let me know the order was up. I dreaded going back to face the god of a man after making a fool of myself. After a few moments, I gathered my courage and placed the plates on my serving tray. I carried the food back out to the bar and noticed that their conversation stopped when they saw me carrying their food. Pfft, men. I placed each of their meals in front of them quickly and without a word. Just as I was about to walk back to the kitchen, the man with the scar grabbed my hand and I’ll be damned if his touch wasn’t like lightning coursing through me. I moved to pull away, but his grip was commanding me to stay, and I did. I felt his eyes on me, forcing me to look at him. I fought the urge until I couldn’t anymore, and I stared into his magnificent face. My heart was thumping in my ears and I couldn't focus on anything else in the world, but him. “Eriana, love, you forgot my milkshake,” he said with a small smile as he lightly caressed the back of my hand. Goddamn it. What was he doing to me? Wait, what the hell did he just say to me? I forgot?! I instantly became agitated at his assumption. I yanked my hand from his grasp and he looked at me with a pleasantly surprised expression, like this was some game. He raised his eyebrows and a small smile played on his lips, but I wouldn't let him distract me with his charm. “I did not forget. I haven’t forgotten an order in 7 years and I didn’t do it tonight. I just didn’t have room,” I replied with a little too much attitude. The man smirked, revealing a dimple in his left cheek. No, not the dimples. I stormed off to retrieve his milkshake as his friends snickered at him. “Ooh, feisty,” one of the other men said as he laughed. I came back with an annoyed look on my face and sat his milkshake in front of him. I rolled my eyes and walked through the kitchen to the back to calm myself. Mostly from being so turned on and partly because of him making assumptions. I opened the back door leading to the parking lot and looked up at the moon. I always loved being under the moon, it always washed me in a calm I couldn’t understand but was always grateful for. I took deep breaths to calm myself. Then I burst out laughing at my reaction. I knew it was unnecessary. I knew I was wrong, but would I apologize? Absolutely not. I took out my phone and called Darius. The phone rang and rang until it went to voicemail. An uneasy feeling settled in my gut as I sent a quick, “love you XOXO” text and put my phone away. He’s probably just putting Bria to sleep so we could have some alone time when I got off. I walked back inside and noticed Ray made a considerable dent in the dirty dishes. I helped him finish the last of the dishes as my mind wandered to my handsome patron. Who is this man and why, dear god, is he so fine? After finishing the dishes 10 minutes later, I went back to check on the men at the bar. Every plate and cup was empty, and they were all distracted by their conversation to notice me come back out. I began gathering the dishes and asked them if they wanted to order anything else. “I am stuffed,” one replied. “Me too, man. I can’t eat another bite,” the second said. I looked at the third man, waiting for his answer. He didn’t seem to have heard me, but I definitely had his attention. He was staring at my thighs and I felt myself moisten under his gaze but kept my composure. “I could go for some dessert,” the man with the scar said, eyeing me. He is really laying it on thick. “I won’t keep you though, I see it’s almost closing time.” I smiled gratefully. As much as I wanted to stay and fantasize about him, I really wanted to get off my feet. “Ok, I’ll bring your bill in just a second.” I walked back to the kitchen to hand the dirty dishes off to Ray. As I walked back out to settle up with the men, I noticed the other two had left and only the man with the scar remained. He flashed me a smile when he noticed me coming back from the kitchen. I couldn’t help but smile back. I have to admit; the man was a god. I recognized what was next. He was going to ask for my number, even though I previously advised him I have a boyfriend. I knew he would ask if we could be “friends”, but then try to flirt his way out of the friend zone. It was the same song and dance with almost every man who came in here. If I was single, I would surely climb this tree of a man, though. He was probably about a foot taller than me, and his dark skin was so impeccable. I wanted to rub my hands across his waves and just stare at him all day. I bet we would create some beautiful little chocolate babies. Wait, what the hell did I say? I don’t even know this man and I’m thinking about carrying his babies? What is wrong with me? I absolutely needed to pull it together. God, he’s smiling at me. Those dimples, those eyes, f**k, those lips. Shake it off, E. Say something, for f**k’s sake. “You’re paying for your friends, then?” “Yes ma’am, is that alright with you, Ms. Feisty.” I rolled my eyes at him playfully. “That’s fine as long as the bill gets paid by someone.” “Mm.. so, Eriana,” he said while licking his lips. “What's a queen like you doing working in a place like this? You could be a model or something.” “Ha! A model?! I don’t fit the criteria, sir.” “s**t, you fit mine,” he said with a smile, and I felt myself blush. “Well, do you have a magazine or something I can model for?” I asked, sarcasm dripping from my words. He laughed. It was such a grand sound. His laugh filled the room with joy and it made my heart skip a beat. “Touché. I’m Derion, by the way,” he stated as he reached his hand out to me. “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Derion. As you clearly read from my name tag, my name is Eriana but you can call me Eri,” I said, taking his hand. “I assure you, the pleasure is all mine,” He said as he kissed the back of my hand while looking in my eyes. I squirmed uneasily as his kiss sent excitement and electricity through my body, causing my girl to weep for him more than she already was. Sure, he was fine, but there's no reason my body should perform for him like this. “Anyway, we’ve got to get on the road to get home. I won’t ask for your number since you told me you have a boyfriend already. I will, however, leave my card with you. So, whenever you’re ready for a man, call me beautiful. I hope you have an evening as beautiful as you are.” He left $300 and his business card on the counter and walked away. “Good night, Derion,” I said as he walked out the door. I watched him get into the back seat of an all-black Cadillac Escalade and drive away. My heart tightened watching him leave. The thought of never seeing Derion again made me incredibly sad, but such is life. I sighed and picked up the cash and his business card and read it. Derion Woods, CEO of Woods Construction. Well, at least I know he has money. I went to throw it away like I normally do the others, but I decided not to. I stuck it in my pocket and counted out my tips from their meal. I shook my head as I realized I had almost $250 in tips just from this one group. Not an unpleasant night at all.
