Maya’s POV “I am marrying Hayley!” Asher told me carefully. He looked at me intensely and this got me uncomfortable immediately. “What!” I cried in shock. “We are married, aren't we? You shouldn't marry another woman when we are still together!” “She is just a surrogate, Maya,” Asher stressed. He looked at me softly and touched my neck. I pushed him away. “Stop touching me, Asher,” I told him simply. “If you actually love me, you will never marry a different person.” “It won't affect the relationship I have built with you, Maya,” Asher persisted. “You are the only one I love and Hayley would only be a surrogate. She would bear my kids and that would be all. Believe me!” I waited and put this into consideration. “It's not easy…” I told him. “How do you want me to survive while watching you have s*x with a different woman?” “You don't need to watch!” Asher told me slowly. “I will love only you forever, Maya. I would do the dishes, wash the clothes, clean the house, cook for the family, and fill in every space that was left. I had to do everything for Hayley and if I didn't take her order, I would get beaten up by Asher when he returned. Asher would beat me up while reminding me that I was a barren woman who couldn't reproduce. I would cry since that was all I could do unbarred.
