The Red Woods Pack and Goliath Pack have been rivals since anyone can remember. Would anything be able to mend those bridges or are they destined to be enemies for the rest of time?

Willow has always been the shy and conservative member of the Red Woods Pack. Never really fit in with the groups at school or in the pack.

Grey was the dominant, future Alpha of the Goliath Pack. All the girls loved him and all the boys wanted to be him.

The two couldn't be any different.

Could that be the perfect combination or utter disaster?

Chapter 1
I was sitting in the classroom on my own, staring out the window mindlessly. This was only my first week at the new school. My pack, the Red Woods Pack, were renovating our territory's school, so all of its students were moved to the public school in the human town for the year. It wasn't far from our territory, but it meant that we now had to share with the students from the Goliath Pack. No one even knows what started the rivalry between the two packs, but it was well and truly still active. "Willow?" The teacher's voice pulled me out of my monologue, "Your answer?" He asked, clearly getting annoyed as he tapped his foot on the floor impatiently. I noticed a group of boys from the Goliath Pack sneering at me mockingly from the other side of the room. I roll my eyes in response. I bet they don't know the answer. Shay, my wolf, was growling defensively in response. I shook her out of my head. Now is not the time. "I'm sorry," I answered, "Could you repeat the question?" I mutter with my head down. I feel my cheek burn bright red as the students around me chuckle and whisper to each other about the quiet, Alpha's daughter, who has no friends. "Women were finally allowed to vote in the Federal Elections in 1902." One of the 'it' girls from the Goliath Pack answered, interrupting me. She winked at me mockingly from her desk across the room. She was too perfect. Her black hair was dead straight, not a single kink. She had deep blue eyes with long, full eyelashes that you know had every guy at her feet. I felt the hatred bubble inside of me. I don't even know why, but it did. "Thank you Juliet." The teacher replied, turning away from my pathetic self and continuing to write on the board. I watched the seconds tick by for the rest of the lesson. I could feel the glares of the Goliath Pack members burn into me from all corners of the room. We were outnumbered, but I felt lucky to have a few other students from my pack with me. We weren't friends, of course, but they would protect their Alpha's daughter if need be. I feel a sigh of relief when the bell rings, but it never lasts long. I make my way towards the oval to sit on the bench at the back of the gymnasium and hear a commotion in the hall. I cautiously peer down the hall to see who it is, but I already have a hunch I know. My brother, Paul, and the future Alpha of Goliath Pack are surrounded by students as they wrestle on the ground. Both are getting some solid hits in before the principal comes to separate the two young men. The principal is human, although he knows about the wolf territories, it is his responsibility to keep the secret away from the human community. I watch the group disperse as he arrives. Paul furiously walks out the front door of the school before I could check up on him. "Careful little wolf, don't want to get caught in the middle of the big guns." The future Alpha of Goliath Pack winks at me as he walks past. He wipes a drop of blood off of his eyebrow and rubs it on his shirt. "I can handle myself, thank you," I state back. I am surprised at my confidence. Usually I would have dropped my head and almost run away in the opposite direction. His eyebrows raised in suprise. "I'm sure I'll see you again." He winks cockily. Juliet is quick to wrap her arms around him as he struts off down the hall like he owns the place. Noticing all the eyes on me, I hurriedly walk out to my lunch spot outside, away from prying eyes. Aria was sitting at the bench waiting for me. I instantly felt more relaxed seeing a friendly face. Aria and I had been friends since before we could walk. Our Mum's were in a mothers group together. She is pretty much my sister. "Hey there stranger!" Aria calls out when she sees me coming around the side of the gym. I smiled in response and put my bag on the bench beside me. I took my sandwich out of my bag and unwrapped it. Aria and I swapped half of our sandwiches before we started eating. We have done this since we started Kindergarden together. It became tradition. "Ham and cheese..." I remark at Aria's half. She smirks. "I was running a bit late this morning. It takes effort to look this flawless!" She laughs. It didn't take her long. She was naturally beautiful. Her tanned skin, with long, shiny auburn hair and slim figure, was hard to miss in a crowd. "Better than my Vegemite and cheese!" I chuckle as she examines my half of her sandwich. "I saw Paul storm out of the school before... What happened?" Aria asked curiously between bites. I shrug my shoulders. "A fight with the future Alpha of Goliath Pack. I answer. "Not sure what it was about this time." "Hes a complete d**k, and they have made our transition to this school a nightmare - but you have to admit, the man is gorgeous!" Aria sighs in admiration. I glare at her but can't deny the truth. He was the typical bad boy. Ripped jeans, tight white shirt, messy brown hair, and the faint stubble across his chin. "Willow! Willow?" Aria waves her hand in front of my face to get my attention. "Did you not hear the bell? Hurry up or we'll be late for PE!" Aria calls, distressed. My awkward and clumsy self was never a fan of PE. To be honest, missing the first few minutes wouldn't be the biggest shame. It didn't help that they had put all of the wolves together in a separate class to avoid humans noticing our enhanced strength and agility.
