SEXY MAN. Juliana's life is so boring and it sucks. Truth be told, this is the last chance that she was giving herself to find happiness. If she fails at it then she will have not have a purpose to live for in this world. Juliana is an only child. Being 25 years old, one would think that she has a best friend or a couple lovers but that is not the case. She is single and lonely. She does not have someone by her side, well except for her parents whom she left back at home. Last month, Juliana made this huge decision to make a new start and that is why she is currently in Virgin River. She somehow blamed her home town for her loneliness and she really hope that this small town will give her the the life that she has always desired. Actually, she wanted a small town for a reason. She wanted people to finally notice her because it's more easier for them to when she is in a small town. Juliana wanted to start living the life that she has always dreamed of. She wants to have a best friend and also to have a lover. She wants to have it all in this new town and she was going to do everything in her power to ensure that she gets what she wants. Juliana dug her right hand in the pocket of her beige trench coat once she was at the store and pulled out her keys. This is the first time that she is at the store and she loves it already. She loved the glass doors with a small bell to alert her when someone comes in. The space was efficient. It will serve its purpose. However, she will have to add some furniture and fit a big oven at the back. After she is fine putting things together, this space will have the most amazing bakery in town. Baking is her passion project and she is happy that she was turning it into a blissful reality. Juliana knew that opening a bakery in a new town can be a big risk but maybe this is what life is all about. Taking the risks She loves baking. She bakes all the time: when she is angry, when she is happy, when she is sad, you name it. Juliana went to study Culinary Skills for two years after high school and this made her fall in love with baking even more. Right now she is very confident that she has all it takes to make this Bakery the talk of town. Juliana got to work right away. She wore a black apron that she had carried with her and started cleaning the store. She needed to make this place ready for tomorrow afternoon since it's the day that the bakery will be opening for the general public. "Juliana, right?" As she was scrubbing the floors, she heard a man with a deep husky voice called her from behind. This was the first time a man was calling her name hence she quickly turned around. She was not about to waste her chance in finding a perfect match for her. The moment Juliana's eyes met his Ocean Blue eyes, she knew that he is the one. She was in love already. She even felt her heart skipping a beat when she saw him. Not only was he handsome as if he was straight from the Vogue Magazine cover shoot, but also he had this attractive deep voice that made sweet shivers arch up her spine. Oh, his body. She must comment about it . He had a perfect sculptured chest with broad shoulders and toned abs that showed under his tight t-shirt. At this point, Juliana could not help it. She found herself drooling over him like a hungry driven teenager. She have seen men before but no one is compared to him .He is exceptional. He is everything that she has always wanted in he crazy fantasy of having a partner and being in a relationship. He is 5'7, broad shoulders, spiky hair, toned body. What else could she ask for? Instantly, she felt shy. She was mad at myself for having this first encounter with him. How could he show up when she has messy hair, zero makeup and an old t-shirt beneath this big ugly cleaning apron? Juliana wished that she had met him when she is fully dressed up. Heck, Juliana felt that she had already blown up her chance with him. There is no possible way that a man like him could be attracted to a girl like her. She was pretty sure that he doesn't find her attractive. She had lost him already because she is a f*****g loser. "Juliana," He called again, faltering her from my own thoughts. "Yes,how can I help yoy? '' She swallowed hard looking at him before she involuntarily wiped my wet hands at the back of my blue jeans. He looked at her awkwardly and even though she wanted to go back in time and take a hand towel instead, the deed was already done. She messed up, just like the way she normally does. " Hi, nice to meet you," Juliana stretched her hand to greet him but he turned her down by keeping his hands folded infront of his chest. That is rude, anyway, what does he want? He shouldn't be here in the first place. She had not announced the opening of this Bakery to anyone except the people who own this building. "What do you want? We both know that you shouldn't be here,"Juliana said in a low but firm voice. The handsome guy had disappointed her by failing to greet her and this left her feeling a type of way about him. He ceased to be attractive because of his rudeness. "I just wanted to let you know that we received your payment. Good luck," He said before leaving the bakery. Oh, so this shitty man is her landlord? He didn't only leave but he left Juliana with a broken heart. She could feel her heart shattering into tiny little fragments. She bit my lips hard enough hoping to fight back the tears that had formed at the slit ends of my eyes but it was all in vain. Tears trickled down my eyes uncontrollably like water from a faulty tap. Why her? Why is she always meet people who don't fit in her life? He is handsome , he was everything that she had always wanted till he opened his mouth and she realised that he was a piece of s**t. Relationship wise, Juliana thought that she was going to make a new start at Virgin River but here it goes, the first man she met in this town didn't even want to greet her. Why doesn't she meet good people? Or is she the problem? What if she is overthinking ?What if she have f****d up by judging him. She felt that she is definitely the problem. After he left, Juliana felt that everything is pointless and this made her stomach churn. She had made one bold step forward by coming to this town but her encounter with ocean blue eyes makes her feel that she has walked three steps backwards. It was heartbreaking and angering at the same time. She could feel a surge of anger in her system. She was mad at herself for ruining all her chances of hapiness. Grabbing the bucket and the mop, she smashed it on the tiled floor. Everything was pointless anyway. She had already messed up. Maybe all that is left is to go and pack her things so that she can go to a new town to start again. "Careful," She heard him speak behind her and she instantly froze. She thought that he had left. Juliana, what's wrong with you. Now he thinks that you gave anger issues. Juliana talked to herself. "I am the problem, right?" She turned to him with tears running down her face. "What are you talking about?" The guy was confused. "I am a mess. I messed up, just like the way I normally do," At this point, she literally broke down and started crying. He didn't know what to do with her. She thought that he would go away and laugh it off with his friends but that did not happen. Instead, he come to where she was standing and wrapped his arms around her The sweet scent of his cologne eased into Juliana's nose. Actually, this is the first time that she had ever been so close to a man. "Listen to me Juliana, you are brave. You can do anything you set your heart to do. You can achieve even your wildest of dreams. You need to believe in yourself. You are a kick ass woman. Look at how far you have come to start this bakery. You are brave and I am proud of you," He whispered this to her ears and it changed her mind instantly. This is so kind of him. She must have judged him without listening to him. Maybe he had his reasons. "Are you saying this to make me feel better or what you are saying is the truth?" Juliana inquired. "Trust me, everything that I have told you is true,"His voice was firm and deep, making her heart twitch. "How can I trust you when I don't know you?" Juliana asked turning around to look at him in the eye. The truth is always in the eyes. Juliana was lost in his ocean blue eyes. "My name is Cooper Blake, it's nice meeting you Miss. Juliana,"He blurted out.
