002- Powerful General but not to him

After deciding punishment to cheng'er his father went to attend the meeting with emperor, They discussed about the matters to be solved in various states and this talk went on, As the Emperor of the "Qi Empire" was an old friend of Gao lei they even had a personal life chat for a long time.

At Gao mansion a young man complained to his mother " Was it necessary to take the side of that little bastard, he deserves that of course, more than that.

"Afeng mind your words he is your little brother, said his mother

" But, mother even father doesn't like him, this was an good opportunity to make father hate him even more, even father knows he is useless trash."

Qin yue "Enough Gao feng I don't want to discuss further on this matter Let's go and have dinner now"

By the time their conversation ended it was late night Gao lei returned to the mansion, And straight away headed to the garden and sat there for a while,

Wen ying asked him if everything was alright at the meeting as he looked a bit worried.

Gao Lei asked wenying to get some things from his treasures.

Then Gao lei went to check on cheng'er, As he saw the situation out there he fumed with anger.

Qin yue held a tray that contains food and stood in front of cheng'er,

Gao lei called out "QinQin what are you doing, wasn't I clear in my words that dinner won't be given to him"?

Qin yue " but husband please let go of it cheng'er understood his mistake now please forgive him"

"take the food out and I don't wish to see anybody helping out this brat , now I will personally punish him. And everybody get out of my sight"

soon there was no single soul around the hall

Gao lei walked towards his naughty son and called out his name, but he saw his cute face was all gloomy, and he had no intention to listen to his father.

Gao lei stood still looking at the little devil as he was about to bend down wenying came holding a bunch of scrolls and handed it to his master,

Gao lei took the scrolls and instructed when ying with another task at which wenying couldn't help but smile, soon his smile faded as Gao lei started him with those cold eyes.

Gao lei held the scrolls and asked changer to follow him to his study...

cheng'er did as he was instructed, his face was still gloomy but his eyes had an suspicious yet naughty look as though he know what's going to happen next.

As they entered his fathers study hall Gao lei sat beside cheng'er and was about to say something but hesitation was written all over his face, he struggled to let out the words from his mouth but in vain ,

He finally made up his mind and spoke

" Aheem... well...Aaa that..... I.....Ahem.... Well... theee thinggg issss Hmmm.... whaaattt I want to say is..... That,,, Uhhhh in between his talk he slowly look at cheng'er but the little boy seem to ignore his existence completely.

Gao lei gathered his courage, he took his hand forward and kept on cheng'er head and said,

"you stay all day out but look how smooth your hairs are,

Ah look at this adorable white cheeks sun rays doesn't seem to harm them...

wow look at the personality I guess emperor will give you a great position in military when you grow up a little... my son is so brave and wise, said Gao lei while proceeding to butter him he stole a glance to cheng'er but this stubborn boy didn't even spare a glance at his poor father.

Gao lei continued " Ah with wise I remember something precious and he took out the scrolls and kept them in front of cheng'er & said you know this belongs to my grandfather he was a great man who was counted among the best legends "Wang lei " was a big name at those times, my mother inherited his knowledge and skills but due to some unexpected circumstances the library known as"Ocen of knowledge" was burned and luckly some of his precious things were preserved.

you know what changer I see those qualities in you."

cheng'er lifted his head and looked at his father in a suspicious way and asked innocently "Father when I'm so good and almost resembles the legend , then why do you still punish and disrespect me?"

Gao lei was dumbfold at his naughty son's question, he was searching for words to answer him but coulddn't find..

he said " Ah my lovely cheng'er you shouldn't keep unnecessary things in your little brain.... Ahem well...father is very busy lately and have a lot of official matters to handle so father behaved that way. As he was about to complete his words there was sound from outside

Gao lei panicked and suddenly stood from his place and went to look out just to find wen ying holding a tray of food and trying hard not to laugh but he couldn't help and let out his laugh.

Gao lei stared at him as though he would kill him through his eyes,

wen ying slowly came in and saw the situation cheng'er who had scrolls in his hand was looking at wen ying and his father.

wen ying kept the tray on table and intended to return back on his way he stopped at Gao lei and said "My lord why create such a big scene, saying " Sorry" isn't so difficult you know" saying these words wen ying vanished in thin air as he knew the consequencees of his actions just now .

Gao lei controlled his anger and went back took the tray to cheng'er and started feeding him lovingly.

today's suspicions to solve....

* When chengers father loves him so heartedly why does he pretends dominant and hateful way in front of others especially his wife and elder son?
