Chapter - 2

"This year is going to be a very interesting year of our school," one of the student Reha said to Andy.

"Why do you think that, Riya?" Andy asks her.

"Because, as always the student of the year competition is organized for 12th standard student and not forgot, that they also choose the president and vice president for the school year, it would be so much fun to watch these two getting over each other throat to win it," Riya said pointing her finger at the back of there classroom towards Xavier and Addison with their friends fighting with each other to get inside the class first.

"Yeah, they fight like a tom and jerry, I wonder who will win any of them if they keep fighting like that in the student of the year competition," Andy said shaking their head.

"Miss Dawson, Mr. Stone, stop fighting with each other and get inside the classroom," Miss Smith said when she saw them fighting with each other near the door to get first and stoping others to get inside the class.

"Huh, since I am a gentleman I will let girls go first," Xavier said with a smirk on his face and get aside to let them go.

"Where was your so call gentleness when I decided to go first, was I not a girl at that time," Addison hissed at him.

"Miss Dawson," Miss Smith warn her while glaring at her which only widen Xavier's smirks which only added to her annoyed mood.

"Glad that you realized it, even it was late," Xavier murmured to himself under his breast but Addison heard him and decided to ignore it.

"Good morning mam," the class wished Miss Smith as she walks inside the class.

"Good morning student as you all know, every year we choose the president and vice president of our school club, and this time also we are going to do that, so those who want to nominate their name for the same, please raise their hand and tell their name so that I can write it in a paper and submit it to the principle, first raise your hand for the president," Miss Smith asks, and Xavier and Addison with 2 more student raise their hand and tell their name to her.

"Now for the vice president," Miss Smith said and Milly, peter with few other students raise their hand and tell their name to their teacher and Miss Smith write it down in the paper.

"The election will begin after two months so, start planning for that," Miss Smith said putting the paper in her file.

"Chapter no - 1, page no 3," Miss Smith said and started their lecturers. And the time passes in a blur.

In the lunch, Addison and her friend are gathered in the library to discuss the preparation of the election.

"What are you planning to do for Election?" one of her friends Alisha asks her.

"First I need to prepare the list of the things that I needed to do for the election after that I need to prepare my speech," Addison said and they discuss it until the bell ring signaling that their lunch over is over. They decided to meet at Addison's house to discuss more the preparation of the election and started preparing for it.

The rest of the day in school goes in the same way, studying, fighting with Xavier, and making notes in the free periods. After the bell ring, signaling that the school was over, Addison packs her bag and walks towards the car which is waiting for her to pick her from school and drop her at home.

"So who was the first day of your school?" mom asks walking downstairs while putting her phone in her purse.

"Good, as usual, are you going somewhere?" I ask her seeing that she is wearing a blue full-length beautiful gown, with a simple heart shape necklace and hearing. You see my parents are always busy exploring their business but I am okay with it since I get myself busy studying and other circular activities like dance classes, cooking classes, piano classes, etc, but sometimes I wonder for whom was I working so hard since they didn't even have time to acknowledge me.

"Yes, I and your father are going to one of our client's engagement party, we are going to be late because we are going to discuss our new contract, I hope you won't mind staying alone today since Miss Bella has a family emergency and cannot able to come and look after you," she said now standing in front of me.

"Of course, my friend is going to come here so that we can discuss the school election and they are going to stay here tonight, so I think, I am going to be okay," and I think I am too old to be babysat by someone, I thought but didn't say out loud to her.

"Good, and I am so proud of you, and don't worry I am sure that you are going to win the election this time," she said smiling and ruffling my hair.

"Darling are you ready to go?" dad asks while entering inside the house wearing a three-piece suit. He smiled at me and look at my mother.

"Yes, love," my mom said to dad.

"I will take my leave now, take care of yourself, close the door of the house when we get out of the house and enjoy with your friend, and call me if you need anything or you get in any trouble, okay?" she asks me and I nodded my head to her. She kissed my head and walks away with dad.

I close the door of my mansion and walk to my room, grab my clothes from, and walk inside the washroom to take a hot shower. After a shower, I dried myself and get dressed. I take my books out and started revising what I learn today in school. After that, I take my books out and started on my home. Since today is the first day of school I didn't have much homework to be done so I was done with it in an hour.

After that, I decided to go to the kitchen and prepare some snacks for me and my friends. As I was done with cooking I heard the bell of my Mansion goes off.
