Chapter One: Young Again

THREE days have passed when Violet turns back in the past and there's one thing she needs to do and that is to prepare herself for her sister’s arrival after two years. Violet suddenly stopped from her deep thoughts when she heard a loud knock coming from outside her room. With a confused look, Violet opens the door to know who’s knocking in her room. When Violet opened it, she saw their maid looking at her with a furious expression. Violet took a deep breath since she didn’t know why her maid is looking at her with a furious expression. Violet just shrugs her shoulder instead of thinking about the reason why her maid is furious while looking at her.

“I have been knocking for a minute! What taking you so long to open the door!? Red asks Violet with an irritated expression.

Violet raises her left eyebrow because of what she heard from their maid. With that, she remembered her past life when Red, their maid, always bullied her. But now, Violet knew to herself that she can manage now since her memories in her past life are still intact in her mind. Aside from that, with her ability as an assassin, she knew to herself that she can do whatever she wants. That's why Violet didn’t scared to Red unlike in her past life that she is always treated like an outcast by their maid.

“Are you mad at me?” Violet asks Red while still raising her left eyebrow.

“Yes! Why? Are you threatening me!?” Red shouted at Violet.

Instead of being scared of Red, Violet just raises her left eyebrow with a grin on her pinkish lips. After that, she looks at Red from head to toe like she’s scanning their maid’s outfit. In a flash of light, Violet avoids the hand of Red that was going to land on her face. After that, Violet was the one who slaps Red, their maid, who is now flustered in front of her because of what she did. Since Violet was not satisfied with what she did to Red, she slaps her maid again while the grin is still plastered on her lips.

“Remember who you are, Red! You're just my maid so act like one! Just remember this on your small mind, you do not own this house so stop acting like you’re the owner! And you don’t have the right to shout at me because I’m your boss!” Violet said to Red, coldly.

“W-What did you say!?” Red asks Violet while stuttering.

“Are you deaf! Or, you're just stupid, that's why you don’t understand what I’m telling to you?” Violet said to Red with an irritated expression written on her face.

“I'm not stupid!” Red answered Violet, angrily.

“Okay! So, why did you disturb me?” Violet asks while raising her left eyebrow.

Red just looked at Violet with a furious expression before answering her. “Your father wants to see you!”

“Okay! You may go now!” Violet said while still raising her left eyebrow.

With that, Red leaves in front of Violet while still mad at her. Aside from that, Red didn’t expect that Violet was going to answer her confidently. However, Red knew from the start that Violet was a pushover that's why she was shocked by the sudden change of her lady. After preparing herself, Violet leaves her room to go to the office of her father, Raeburn. After a minute, Violet knocks on the door of her father’s office with a blank expression written on her face.

“Come in,” Raeburn said to Violet coldly.

When Violet heard her father’s permission to enter the office in their mansion, she opens the door with a blank expression written on her face. All of a sudden, Violet felt that she misses her father but, she reminds herself that no matter what she does he will love her and see her as his daughter.

“The maid said, you are looking for me, Sir.”

Instead of calling him father, Violet chose to call him Sir since she knew that not even once did Raeburn look at her as his daughter. In the first place, Violet knew that she was just a mere puppet for her father, Raeburn. That’s why Violet started calling him Sir instead of father.

“What did you call me?” Raeburn asks Violet in confusion.

"I call you, Sir. So, what is the reason for calling me, Sir? " Violet said to her father, with a serious expression on her face.

Even though Raeburn was confused, he chose to ignore it since they had important things to talk about. I heard the news from your maid! How many times do I have to tell you to stop fighting with those gangsters? You’re ruining our family's prestige! " Raeburn shouted at Violet.

Violet just shakes her head because of what she heard from her father. Even though she knows that she’s not important to her father, Violet didn’t expect that he will be furious about the news that her maid told him.

"Wow! "I didn’t know that our family’s prestige was more important than me," Violet said with a disappointed look.

Since Violet was disappointed in her father, she left the office, not even bothering to bid goodbye to Raeburn. Then, Violet decided to go to her room since she knew, to herself, that she needed to be prepared since she didn’t want to die again. Aside from that, Violet was furious and couldn't contain it, like she wanted to hurt someone. "Just wait for me, Red. I will punish you for your wrong information about what happened. " Violet said to herself while clenching her fist.

Even though Violet was furious, she chose to be calm since she knows that in a blink of an eye, she can easily kill her maid, Red. That’s why Violet chose to sleep since she was still sleepy and a little tired from her fight with those gangsters. She found herself engulfed in darkness.
