Chapter 1: Level 2

The morning was quite bright. Iyan and all the other female Rahanas were training under Topaz, and Oliver's guide, as it was ordered by Aurora. Raul is her Advisor, so he doesn't need to do anything. He observes everything. How everyone acts and tries to interpret what he sees. Raul would have loved to be The General. But he knows why Aurora picked him as her Advisor. He knows he is better useful as her advisor. He is the best Aurora can ever have. Aurora knew it too. She knew how observant he was, and how strategic. Raul was lounging on a discarded chair. He was keeping an eye on Iyan. She has improved a lot. He is glad Aurora ordered the female Rahanas to train. He wanted Iyan to train for a while. He can not always be around. He needs to be assured that she is okay. And now he is assured. Almost. Iyan smiled at him, and he smiled back. But her opponent took the chance to trip her. But Iyan was smart. That smile wasn't intentional, but it gave her the chance nonetheless. She knew her enemy saw that she is open to strike. So, when her opponent tried to trip her, Iyan grabbed her legs and flipped her. Iyan's opponent fell face-first on the ground. "Ow." "Are you okay, Ravina?" Iyan asked. "Yes," Ravina mumbled. Then she tried to stand up but couldn't. "Help." She shouted. Iyan chuckled and helped the poor girl. Iyan is much more confident nowadays. Now she can fight, and she can plan like her other friends, and she also is Aurora's personal makeup artist. Iyan loves her life now. It's so much better. Not only for her, but for other creatures too.

Topaz clapped his hands."Great Job, Iyan." He shouted. Iyan murmured thanks, smiling. Ravina shook her hand. Though Iyan always kicks Ravina's ass, she and Ravina are friends. " Iyan, I have some great news for you," Topaz announced. Iyan went close to listen. "You are on level two now," he said, smiling. Iyan gaped at The General. " I am proud of you, Sis." He said, grinning, and then patted her head. Iyan was still gaping at no one in particular when Turner and Oliver came to congratulate her. She was awakened by Raul's pleasurable kiss. Iyan chuckled when Raul bit her lower lip. " I am so so proud of you." He said, touching her brows with his. "That makes two of us," Iyan said, smiling. Raul kissed her forehead. "Let's party," Turner shouted. "Yes. We should celebrate her accomplishment. It's a great deal," Oliver said. "Yes. We surely will. After Aurora knows."Raul said. Iyan nodded. So they went to give their Queen the news.

Every morning, Aurora practiced being the Queen. How she will talk, how she will walk, and how she will smile. She doesn't deny that after she took Arvigo's powers, she is different. The darkness of hers wants her to do evil things, but her light helps her to do the opposite; the right thing. Arvigo's powers, darkness, and cold are more dominant. She doesn't know how she was able to help Nick out. But after that, light hardly comes out of her. She practices with her light. But she fails miserably every time. Carolus sneaked from the back and slipped his hands on her waist. He looked at her eyes through the mirror in front of them. "Good morning." He whispered and kissed her on the cheek. "Good morning." Aurora smiled at her mate. "You don't have to practice every day how to be a Queen. You excel at it. You were born a Queen, my love." He purred. " Still. I have to be sure. I have to be confident. All the time. I can not make a mistake." Aurora said, worry etching on her face. "That's why we have Raul. Our advisor, and dearest friend," Carolus said. Aurora turned to her mate and kissed him. "I am fine. Don't worry." She mumbled on his lips. " Fine. Then let's take a bath first," he said. Aurora nodded.

Aurora sat on her Amerine Throne. And Carolus sat on his ruby one. Raul and Iyan walked to the dais and bowed. "Your majesties." They said in unison. " Our beloved friends," Aurora said in return. Aurora smiled at Iyan's sparkling eyes. She knew they had something good to deliver to them. And Gods above knows how much she needs it."Oh, shoot it" Iyan said. "I have been promoted to the second level," Iyan shouted, jumping. Aurora squealed like her teenage self. Like she and Beth used to do. Aurora jumped off her throne and hugged Iyan. "Congratulations, Iyan." She said."Thank you." Iyan grinned. "We need to celebrate. It's the first good news that we have got. Come on. Let's party." Aurora shouted. "You are shouting like Gabriel," Carolus said, chuckling. "Well, as they say, when you are surrounded by hooligan angels, you become a hooligan angel yourself," Aurora said, smiling. Carolus shook his head. He didn't say anything. But he knew the squeal wasn't real. Aurora is happy for Iyan but squealing, that much happiness, it all got lost somehow. Amidst all the wars, Aurora lost something. He also knows her light is becoming more submissive nowadays. He had seen her struggling with it. But he won't ask her until she wants to talk with him about it. So he was sure that the squeal was fake. Aurora wants everyone to think that she is herself. She wants everyone to think that she didn't lose anything, that she is fine. But all the deaths, all the responsibilities, it is too much for her. That's why he stayed. He reluctantly gave Kristine to rule. His sister would have bitten his head off if he didn't tell her the actual reason. So, he told her how Aurora needs help, and how she never asks for it. Kristine agreed with him. And she accepted the offer, although Carolus had to leave her alone and she had to do all the work. Kristine is Aurelis's Queen. For now. They have not gotten through the ceremony. Carolus doesn't know what to do. Nor does Kristine. Carolus looked at Aurora's fake smile, the fake happiness, the fake confident posture, and didn't say anything. He followed her when she told her to. And he would always follow her. To the end of the world.

" So, I need all of you to arrange a party for my most favored court member, Iyan. I need her favorite food and favorite decorations to be ready by tomorrow." Aurora ordered her court. They bowed. Everyone knew about Iyan's promotion. How she is improving in her fighting skills. And they knew Aurora would arrange a party. So, they all hurried to their Queen when she called for them. " I also need the guards to be alert. All the time," Aurora said. Topaz and Oliver nodded." All the appointed men will be alert. Oliver, and I will make sure of it. " Topaz replied. Oliver nodded in agreement. Aurora was really proud of her general. He is kind but he doesn't show that. Topaz could have ordered Oliver around easily. But he never does that. Topaz and Oliver are like Partnered General. They are sharing their positions. And she is loving it. Oliver is a vital soldier. As vital as Topaz. That's why she wanted him to be in the army. So that he gets to know them from within, and gets to spend time with them. So that Oliver knows how to help Topaz to rule the army. And how to use the army for better use. And Aurora also knew that Topaz would share his position with Oliver, though she didn't announce it officially. Topaz knew Oliver's skills. And like a great general he is, he is sharing his position with Oliver. All of the soldiers listen to Oliver. " Iyan, tell them what you want." Aurora gestured to Iyan to say. But Iyan turned to her and said something surprising. " I want it to be like the parties that you had in your universe. I want to celebrate as your people do in your universe. " Iyan said. Aurora was taken back by that. "I thought you loved your parties." She said."We need a change." Iyan smiled. Aurora nodded, smiling. " How big do you want your party to be?" Aurora asked. " Not much. I just want us to enjoy ourselves, and some of my friends from the training might join us. Like Ravina," Iyan said. " Very well." Aurora nodded. Iyan always admired Aurora. How she walks, how she talks, how she smiles. Everything about her is magical. She is so confident. Her posture is so straight. She was born to be a Queen. No, She WAS born a queen. So, Iyan wanted to party as she did. Like Aurora and her friends did. " You can invite your friends, too," Iyan added. At that, Aurora shook her head. "I am sure they are quite busy. If you don't mind, we will just stick to our Universe," Aurora said. Smiling, Iyan nodded. "Okay. Then we can invite Kristine and Dominus." Iyan said. "Okay. Then so it will be. I have so many ideas. You have to choose from those." Aurora said." We can have a party with dancing, loud music, and be wasted. We can be wasted only. We can go somewhere else for the day and have a little picnic. Or we can have a quiet meet and greet. We have some catching up to do, for sure. For we have been busy these days," Aurora said. Everyone agreed. They were busy. They had to make all the kingdoms accept them. Aurora and her court traveled to all the Kingdoms, and also welcomed other kingdoms, and allied with them. And they also made a rule. No one hurts the abominations without any valid reason. If any kingdom even tries to hurt an abomination just because he or she exists, then the kingdom will be destroyed, all the people will be punished, or even executed. And as Aurora is powerful, and Crystalpi's King Dominus is also powerful, the other Kingdoms had to listen. And they all made a peace treaty. No one hurts abomination, and peace remains. So, yeah. They agreed. They WERE BUSY. " The Picnic one would be nice. But we should have a theme. I mean everyone should dress up." Iyan said. "Very well, what do you want us to dress up like?" Aurora asked. "It's a surprise. I need Raven and your seamstress for this part," Iyan said. She had an evil glint in her eyes. Aurora knows that look very well. She is up to something very good or the worst. So, she laughed, and said, "Don't make me regret it, Iyan." "You won't regret it. I promise." Iyan smiled. "Okay. Then you have my permission, Raven, and Sinatra will help you." Aurora nodded. " And we will also have the food which you all eat in your universe." Iyan said."But how will I know which one is your favorite?" Ora asked. "Just order whatever you like. I will pick my favorite." Iyan smiled. "Fair enough." Aurora nodded. "So, I will have to ring Lucifer. He is a great party planner, he knows what to order for parties. And you all have things to do. Iyan, choose a location. And then you will inform others how to decorate it, just the way you like or according to your decided theme. Meanwhile, Topaz, and Oliver, you need to decide who will be our guards for the day. And the responsibility of the dresses goes to Iyan, Raven, and Sinatra. I will inform my seamstress.You may leave." Aurora said, dismissing her court. They all bowed to her and left the room. Carolus came behind Aurora and massaged her shoulders. Aurora chuckled. "How is Kristine doing?" Aurora asked. "Don't even ask," Carolus said. Aurora chuckled, shaking her head.
