Gamma Rising: Shasta's Mate

Hello readers! After finishing Alpha Rising, I knew there were some characters that I wanted to further explore. Out of all of them, Shasta stood out to me the most. He's the only one of the young ranked members without a mate, and has been a true friend, first to Kendria and Harlie, then to Rowan and Mason. He didn't have an unhappy ending, and on closer inspection, his story didn't really end at all. So, I decided to write him one of his own.
Shasta's story will spend a little time in his younger teenage days, quite a bit of time overlapping the timeline of Alpha Rising, and extend beyond it a little ways as well. We'll also get to know someone else a little better in this story, too (hint, hint)!
As stated before, I am hoping each of these stories will work as a standalone piece, but reading 'Alpha Rising: Her Revenge' might give some helpful context and additional layers of backstory, so if you want to see more of Shasta, feel free to head over to 'Alpha Rising' and read that before or after reading this story.
