CHAPTER 2

-THE PLAYBOYS-

" WHAT!" Brenda could not believe it. Ella had not opened up to her about what killed Nicole and she did not want to bring up the topic.

" They are nasty people. They made my sister depressed. All of them play her yet all along Nicole thought that she was loved. They were just playing with her feelings and once they were done they tossed her away like a piece of garbage," Ella explained and Brenda could not believe it.

" I am really sorry. I am so sorry that it happened to Nicole," Brenda said before bending to hug her again.

Of course Brenda was not going to take the job. She was not willing to work for the sake of the people who ensured that they killed her best friend's sister yet they were not even sorry about it.

" I am not taking the job,"Brenda said and Ella felt bad. This was a happy moment for her but thanks to her, she has to decline the job.

" Come on, don't say that," Ella begged.

" I can't Ella. They can do worse to me and I really don't want to die anytime soon," Brenda said, swallowing bitterness that was stuck at the back of her throat. It felt bad saying no to a job that she really needed that most but she could not trade her life over a job. She is smarter than that.

" It's okay. " Ella nodeed and an awkward silence filled the place until a thought came to Brenda.

" Are you going to let them be free after what they did to your sister? They deserve to pay for their mistakes," Brenda suggested making Ella think of this for the first time.

" No, I really don't think that I can do that," Ella refused to.

" Think of it, what would Nicole want from you? They need to be stopped and you are the only person capable of doing that because you know the pain of losing a sister," Brenda told her and Ella had to take a deep breath. Instantly it clicked that what Brenda was saying was true. It is such a shame that she had never thought of that before.

" But how?" Ella asked after a couple of minutes went by.

" Easy, take my job and go on from there. You are a smart girl. I know that you will make them regret what they did to your sister," Brenda said.

" I will do it. I am going to do this for Nicole,"Ella eventually stated and Brenda was so proud of her. She was going to support her to do it.

For the first time ever, Ella felt a feeling of excitement as she went to bed. This was because she was finally going to carry revenge on what the three brothers did to her sister.

She had decided on one thing and that is she was going to beat them at their game. She was going to make them pay through the game of love. She knew that it was not going to be easy but she was going to do it anyway. For the first time ever, she felt like she was in control of her future and the future she was seeing was taking down the Peterson Brothers. They can be players but she was going to be the biggest player of them all. They can be heartbreakers but she is going to heartbreak them all. She had signed up for this and there is no going back.

She will come between the brothers, tearing them apart. They will face her wrath, they have no idea.

The next morning, Ella packed her bags and Brenda came to drop her off at the airport. She was going to Evermore town to finally meet the brothers and get into their lives. Damn, she will ruin all of them.

" When are you going to come back?" Brenda asked in their final goodbyes. She couldn't help but shed a tear.

" Honestly, I don't know," Ella was very honest with her.

" Despite that, I will miss you so much. I love you Ella. All the best . We will keep in touch," Brenda said, hugging her tightly.

" I will miss you too. " Ella said and eventually she walked away from her and boarded the plane to Evermore town.

"Andrea finally left, huh?" Arthur asked his brothers after the board meeting while playing with his lip piercing.

" Of course she did. She found out that it was all a game," Carlos said laughing.

" I have to go now. I have to add another tatoo on my arm," Carlos added.

" Come on boys, is that what you care about, huh? We don't have a stylist. We need one. Andrea was our stylist but she is not here anymore," Zayn said, trying to speak sense into them.

" Just because you are dressed in a suit doesn't mean you are going to boss us around. This is dads company. Also, you played Andrea too, don't act too innocent. " Arthur snapped him out of it.

" I won the bet. Please wire the money to my account," Carlos chuckled.

" Whatever dude, I swear that in the next game. I will win it. I am just going to add more piercings and blings. Girls love that," Arthur said. He was the competitive one.

" Whatever. I know that girls love tattoos so I will get a couple. I will win all over again," Carlos said, laughing.

" Enough!"Zayn could not take the conversation anymore.

" You are just bitter because you never win. Girls don't like boys like you. In tuxedo's every time. Cut that crap and be like us," Arthur tried to advise him but Zayn was not willing to take it.

" Let's forget about Andrea. The real crisis here is that we have to find a new stylist," Zayn said, snapping them out of it.

" You worry too much. The HR told me they have already hired a lady. She is not from this town hence she will be living with us. She is arriving later in the evening. I must go home after getting my tattoo and shoot my shot," Carlos said.

" No, it does not work like that. This is a game and you know the rules,"Arthur mumbled.

" Whatever, but I am leaving," Carlos said, taking his leave. Leaving Arthur and Zayn.

" I think it's time we stop the games," Zayn said.

" Are you on drugs or something? We cannot stop with the games. We are the three Alpha brothers. I really don't know what is going on with you but you need to come back to reality. Play the new game and make sure that you win this time round," Arthur advised him and he knew that he was right.

They were the Alpha brothers and falling in love was not something they wanted. All they wanted was to play games and have fun.

" I am leaving," Arthur said, making for the door.

" No, wait for me, let's go together," Zayn said following him out.

Ella arrived in Evermore town. The town was in a small town setting but it was so beautiful. It had cute buildings, a lot of trees and a good view of the Evermore hills. It felt like a perfect town but Ella did not buy that idea. The town is flawed. The brothers killed her sister. Anyway, it's about time that they get a taste of their own medicine and she was so ready for that as she was being driven to their mansion.
