Kerra Louisse is the princess of their family. She was well provided and dearly loved by her parents and her brother. She had the life everyone envied. However, she chose the hard way and studied abroad to chase her dreams. Until one day, she woke up to a terrible news. Her father is gone. She had to go home and face the truth. She then realized that losing her father was not the only shocking news she would receive. It was the huge responsibility that he left behind for her.

“Yes, you heard it right, Miss Kerra Cuervas. You have to marry Mr. Jaxon Hidalgo so you can claim whatever your Dad left for you. If not, then this last will won’t be valid.” Atty. Cortes, said.

Prologue: In The Beginning
I gritted my teeth in anger. How could this happen? I walked to my chair and sat down. I cannot accept this. Dad didn’t do this to me! He won’t. “So, I assumed he didn’t tell you about this agreement yet?” This man in front of me who claims to be my fiancé said. “As you can see, it is crystal clear that I wasn’t aware of this agreement.” I said as I stared at him. His piercing blue eyes were staring at me. He seemed calm. “I also just found out. Our attorney said that that agreement was done months ago.” He said. “Our Dad were best of friends. I have met your parents a thousand times since I came home from studying abroad.” “I have also met your parents a couple of times already before. However, I didn’t remember meeting you before this happened to Dad.” I said. “Maybe those were the times that I was still studying out of the country. When I went home, you were already studying abroad.” He explained. “Alright, but how about this agreement?” I asked. I cannot agree to this even if it has been signed by my father. “I know this sounds ridiculous and unbelievable but I think we should honor our deceased fathers’ wishes and give it a try. “What? No, no, I won’t marry you or anyone else in that matter! I hardly even know you and this papers which states that we have to get married a year from now is completely insane.” I hysterically said. This whole idea of fixed marriage is insane!
