[Cellphone rings] "Hello" a voice spake "Hello, this call is for Diana Jason, is this the bearer?" A voice on the other end replied. "Yes it is. And who is this please?" Diana chortled "We are calling to inform you that someone related to you would be needing your care and love at this very moment. If you could please get here as soon as possible, we would appreciate that. The address has been sent to you as we speak. It is something that has to do with Perseus if you are familiar with the name." "Of course I am, he is my brother!" She snorted in agreement as she panicked. "Then you should show up as quickly as possible". Diana Jason left everything she was doing on the table, her room scattered with piece of paper and clothes everywhere on her bed, couch and floor. She ran towards her wardrobe and took off a yellow jacket from a hanger to put on as she made haste to grab on of her shoes with no much thoughts to make a choice which should fit. Then she swung the door open and had her acoustic guitar move slightly backwards which was kept somewhere near the door wall because of the speed with which she moved. She was on her way to the hospital five minutes after the call and in no distant time, she arrived the scene. "Hello, Diana Jason, where is he?" She sniffled as she spoke to a male nurse at the entrance. "Get to the desk ma'am, I don't know who or what you are talking about." The nurse sputtered. "Okay thanks anyway" Diana shuddered and walked quickly to get to the person on the desk as she was directed. "Diana Jason?" A man who overheard her conversation with the male nurse called out before she could approach the desk. "Yes that's me!" She replied as she turned to approach him. "This way please" he lead her. "What happened to my brother. Is everything okay?" Diana asked inquisitively as she followed him closely. "Neither worse, neither alright, your brother was involved in a fatal accident this morning. He is in the room on oxygen mask as we speak and good thing he was helped before we arrived the scene." "O my God!" Diana exclaimed as the doctor opened the door to the room where Perseus laid. She moved in in haste, shivering and raising Perseus' left hand as she tried to sit down close to the bed on which he laid. The doctor stood at the entrance of the door and tried to deliver all the information she needed as he watched her cry. "The bag on the chair over there contains his documents and laptop as well. We found your contact in a small notebook found at the front seat. Thank God for the couples that got there on time to recover most information and also helped to pull him out before the car started smoking. He remained unconscious until we finished treatment on his arms and legs, no physical brain damage was detected but it looks like he's going to be in coma for a couple of weeks." "Coma? Did you just say coma!" Diana squalled. "Yes ma'am" the doctor whispered "No this isn't happening. Perseus, you are a fighter remember, you've got to wake up and fight, you promise to never leave me alone a whole day. You've got to wake up" she sniffled. "Diana, everything is gonna be just fine, there's a high chance he's going to wake from it. We think it's a shock from the incident, nothing more. If you can pray, do so; but you seriously need to pay attention to getting his phone cause I think people are going to be asking after him. His documents are much proves that he was in for a serious business schedule." "Am sure he left it at home, it's in his culture to forget his phone and I know that." Diana kidded and chuckled. "You have to visit him from time to time. Now is the time to think of what makes him happy and to do it or say it while you sit close to him, it might help him regain conscienceness. I'll take my leave now." the doctor concluded. "Thanks" Diana whispered. She sat down there in silenced, not saying a word for half an hour after she had stopped subbing. The she took her eyes off him and looked to the seat where his bag was kept for about thirty five seconds, then went for it. When she opened it, and read through the documents and realized that he was on his way to a meeting. "O s**t, the meeting he talked about last night! How dumb of me not to have realized how important this is to him before I hanged up the call" She soliloquized in a whispering tune as she hurriedly dashed out to go to his apartment. Diana arrived at Perseus house half an hour she left the hospital, and went for his cellphone first the minute she got in. She called his line to figure out where he last kept his cellphone and when she found it, she saw twenty six missed calls. Perseus trusted her sister so much so that she had access to all his gadgets and knows even to his email password. She unlocked the cellphone and called the first number on the call log, named Peterson. One by one, she passed the news about his being involved in an accident to everyone. His colleagues in the company were disturbed at his absence until they knew from the information she gave them that he was unavoidably absent. At evening of that very day, she was at the hospital again, with all the necessary stuffs needed to spend the night. Perseus' boss loved him personally so much that he was also present at the hospital that evening along with three other colleague and close friends with Perseus. They talked for a long time with Diana, trying to sympathize with her and ensure she had someone around. Before Peterson — the company's boss — and his colleagues left, it was already past nine at dawn and they made sure she was stable in mind and happy before that. Diana saw them off to the car garage and watched them drove off before she returned to the room to be with Perseus.
