PROLOGUE DEAR READERS THIS STORY AND ALL THE SEQUELS ACCOMPANIED WITH IT SOLELY BELONG TO ME AND ME ALONE. IT IS MY STORY, WITH MY THOUGHTS AND IMAGINATIONS. IT HAS NO LINK TO ANY OTHER, THOUGH THE NAMES OF GREEK OR NORSE GODS MIGHT APPEAR IN THIS STORY. IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STORY AND ALL THAT WILL BE WRITTEN IN THIS STORY IS A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION. I WOULD ALSO WARN THAT THIS BOOK IS RATED 18. THERE WOULD BE NUDITY, AND s*x, EVEN VIOLENCE. BE WARNED. An introduction to the story. Long ago, the magic realm was a beautiful place, filled with beautiful creatures, all children of different gods. Elves, dwarfs, witches, fairies, and humans alike lived together. All species had their magic but after the end of the great dark, everyone lost their magic except the witches. Most species were killed, only the humans and the witches remained. Centuries after, everything had been forgotten and the humans and witches lived together in peace. King Caldor, a human and the king of Haenada prayed to the gods for a child. He had been married for so long without an offspring but he was patient and continued in his offerings to the gods. Wanting just a child from the only woman he loved and married, he refused to try out other women, he neither got married nor get mistresses even when he was pushed to do so. He remained persistent in his prayers till the gods gave him one. One who had lived before, one who was a descendant of the gods themselves. One who was powerful to make the faithful king happy. But when his child was being planted as a seed in the belly of queen Aleera, his wife. Something dark accompanied it. A soul that was locked up and tamed accompanied her back to the land of men. Wanting so much to be set free and set loose so he could unleash his wrath. Darkness had his plans with the child for this child was meant to be the key to greater power, when she was of age. And the doers of evil, the servants of this said darkness waited, seers never die, so they could wait and watch till they saw their vessel. But before the child was born, an attack on her was carried out. Queen Aleera was poisoned, hoping the child would die with her. The baby survived, by fighting the poison back to her mother. On the day Queen Aleera went pale and life slowly slipped out of her, the seer was present. She gave the queen a bit of her life source and requested that the king find help soon. Because the more time it took, her life source would be returned to her and his queen and child would die. In such a perilous time, king Caldor decided to take a journey himself. Queen Aleera was the woman he loved and that was the only child he had ever since his reign, a century ago. He neither got married nor had more wives or mistresses, his love for his queen was too strong to share himself with another. He ignored the jesting of other kings and stuck with his queen. He couldn't lose her to death so easily. At night, he moved out dressed like a peasant with only but a few guards so as not to get attention as he traveled north. Through the mountains and straightway to the cave behind the river of shadows. For he had held about the lone witch, who seemed to be more powerful than the other seers. Journeying through the mirk forest of Krullmae, he had come across an old lady. It was unlikely to have a settlement around the mirk forest of Krullmae. One of the fallen cities of magic. But there she was, he believed she was banished or exiled, thus to why she was at the mirk forest. He stared at her from the carriage and her eyes met his. Gray eyes that seemed lost and far, yet beautiful just like the moon, like they were pairing into his soul. "A curse you bring to this world. The doom of all and the beginning of nothingness. Darkness and destruction, anger and wrath. The soul of the unwanted one will thread again in the land of men because you awakened her" were her exact words. Young king Caldor was frightened by those words, yet, he didn't understand nor did he think it was so important. For to him, the old woman might be mad. So he continued his journey with the safety of his wife and his child in his mind alone. Coming out of the mirk forest, he came upon a settlement. Human settlement, they had been there after the great apocalypse, feeding on the ruins of Krullmae. When they saw his carriage and the few guards with his, they stared at him, ready to run or fight if anything were to happen. At that same moment, king Caldor had decided to receive some air and poked his head out from his carriage. His eyes met that same gray eyes but this time, it wasn't an old lady. But a young, dirty, shabby-looking girl. She stared right at him and said. "The light they all fear, the light that would burn and burn every darkness within its part will tread upon the land of men once again. Beware, for her Moira will be too great for you to handle. She was here before and will be back" Fearfully, king Caldor withdrew his head and pondered on those words. They were similar to that of the old lady and he couldn't quite understand why mere humans knew about his child. After long days and long nights of their journey, they arrived at the north mountains of Kraboul. It was snowing and filled with frozen lands. Said to have been cursed a long time ago to remain a frozen land for eternity. There his carriage was attacked and his guards were killed. Leaving him defenseless with his queen whose heart was slowly dying with the cold. But fate brought the mighty king Draco of Hadien to his rescue. He killed off all the attackers and decided to accompany the king and his dying queen to the cave of the lone one. They arrived at the river of shadows which was not frozen as it ought to be. It was said that the spirits of the fallen ones during the apocalypse and the spirit of the dead gods always made the water remain unfrozen. For they cried every night. Relaxed, king Caldor was and he fell into a deep slumber and someone spoke to him. He could neither see a face but he heard the voice loud and clear. "The doom of all. The light that burns. Darkness will thread once more. Land of men shall behold the unwanted one" Statued, he woke up and found that he was already at the cave. The lone witch sheltered them and helped healed Aleera. Both kings had a lot to see and she gave them a lot of twisted words that they were supposed to understand when the time came before they journeyed back home with king Draco who insisted to take them back to Haenada safely before he would return to Hadien. They got attacked on their way back but fought all of them with the help of king Draco's fighting skills and his guards. On the day, the princess was born, two great stones appeared at the witch's cove. The Stones of the ancient ones disappeared from Ravaryn after the great dark. "THE DOOM AND THE LIGHT. THE UNWANTED ONE AND THE CHOSEN MERGED IN ONE................." "TO CONQUER OR TO DESTROY. PATHS SHALL BE CHOSEN AND THE DRAGON SHALL SEE HIS BRIDE AGAIN WHILE THE UNWANTED ONE SHALL CLAIM FOR HER" " WARS UPON WARS AND CHAOS SHALL BE HEARD IN THE LAND OF MEN, DEATH, AND DOOM. ALL FOR AN OUTCOME, BUT ONE SHALL RULE. LIGHT OR DARKNESS" It wrote. But only one seer saw this prophecy. Just one. When the kings of the human cities gathered, they were informed about the Prophecy. "THE DOOM AND THE UNWANTED ONE, TO CONQUER AND TO DESTROY. PATHS TO BE CHOSEN AND THE DRAGON OF AGES SHALL BE FORGED WITH HIS BRIDE. WARS AND CHAOS, DEATH AND DOOM SHALL BE HEARD IN THE LAND OF MEN. ALL FOR AN OUTCOME, HE SHALL RULE. DARKNESS" This the seer gave to them and this they worked with. Looking for the darkness and the vessel of the prophecy to kill before it killed them as it did before. Everyone searched, all scared to be eliminated from the face of the realm. While secrets remain hidden and the gods kept watch. Waiting patiently for their descendants to correct all the wrongs that were done.
