Mila’s Pov.

I’m standing in front of the mirror inside of what Kade had called a wardrobe but in reality is a walk in closet. I’m dressed in a sheer purple dress that is showing off my shoulders. Purple is my favorite color, bringing out my auburn hair and blue violet eyes. It is time for me to meet the Silver moon pack. The pack I was going to rule over with Kade at the age of 21.

I’m so unbelievably nervous right now. Meeting the pack for the first time and not knowing if they would accept me. But Kade had told me that I have nothing to worry about. They will accept me as their soon to be Luna. They’ve been waiting many years for this moment. The moment when Kade finally found his mate and beloved Luna. There’s a knock at my door and Kade steps in with a big smile on his handsome face. He gives me a look of appreciation when he sees my dress choice. He steps up to me and takes me in his arms and I feel myself relax.

“You look astonishing princess, that dress makes your eyes glisten like jewels and your hair burn like fire”

I smile against his chest, feeling like the most beautiful girl in the world. The sparks in my body flutter like butterflies and I can’t help but feel all hot in his arms around me and with his hands stroking my back.

“And you look very handsome my mate, with your grey pants and short sleeve purple sweater. Did you know that I was going to wear purple as well”

“No, this was just a happy coincidence. Just show that we’re already have a deep connection”

I smile bright at him and stand on my toes and give him a kiss on his cheek. Kade raises one of his eyebrows and smiles cheekily just to lean forward and catches my lips with his. It starts out slow and soft but soon enough he asks for permission to enter my mouth with his tongue and I let him. “How many individuals belong to this pack Kade”

“About 1500 of which 200 live in the packhouse with us and the rest in the town close to the packhouse.

I look at Kade in shock and feel the nervousness come back, not know if I can pull this meeting through. But Kade takes my hand in his and strokes his thumb back and forth to calm me down.

“Calm down princess, you’ll be okay. They’ll adore you just as much as I adore you. When we get downstairs and outside just walk behind me because they don’t know what this meeting is for. I asked Nathan and Pete to keep it a secret. Let me introduce you before you step up next to me”

I nod and Kade gives me a soft kiss on the lips and leads me down the stairs. He lets go of my hand once we’re on the bottom floor and I walk slightly behind him as we enter the garden. We walk out on the balcony and I let my eyes take in the gathering. 1500 werewolves sitting down looking at Kade. Some of them glance curiously at me standing behind their alpha. One girl with black hair and dark eyes almost as dark as her hair walks up to Kade and throw her arms around his neck. She's tall and physically fit, wearing a tight sweater showing off her magnificent cleavage. She leans forward and puts her lips against Kades ear and whispers loud enough for me to hear.

“I missed you Kade, what do you say about me and you meeting up later and having some fun together”

She gives me a challenging smile while she looks me up and down. I guess she’s that kind of girl who claims her territory. Kade shakes off her arms around his neck and gives her a strict gaze.

“Go sit down again Raven, I have some happy news to tell you all”

Raven, yes, I should have seen that coming. Her hair is black as a raven so I guess they named her after the color of her hair when she was born. Raven looks confused as she walks back to her seat. Kade raises his arms and takes one step forward.

“I asked all of you to come here today to this meeting because I have an important thing to tell you. Two days ago a person came to our realm. She’s not from here but fate brought her to us. Then yesterday fate made the two of us meet. I’ve happy news to share with you all. This girl is my mate. Mila step forward and meet the pack, your pack”

Kade extends his arm towards me and beckons me to step up next to him. He takes my hand in his as I do and I see everyone's eyes on me. Suddenly there’s cheers and applause. Everyone stands up and I hear the pack call me luna. Well, everyone except Raven who looks like she wants to kill me. I have to ask Kade about their history and why she’s the only one who’s not happy about the news. Kade asks everyone to quiet down so that he can speak again.

“I know that I don’t need to ask you to treat Mila right but if I found out that anyone of you for some reason don’t treat her as the Luna she’s soon will become you’ll have to answer to me, do you understand”

“Yes Alpha”

Kade looks Raven straight in her eyes as he says this, as to warn her from doing any of the things she’s thinking about doing right now. She stares defiantly back at him but knowing that he’s the Alpha she looks down showing him submission.

I stand next to Kade and look at all the partying werewolves.The party has been going on for one hour. There's music, dancing, singing and drinking going on all over the garden. I’m filled with happiness. The pack had all accepted me into their pack. I was now one of them. Okay not everyone have accepted me. Raven is still giving me the evil eye when Kade isn’t looking her way. I just know that she’s going to be trouble. I can never relax with her around. Kade is talking to one of the elders of the pack when I see how Raven walks up to us. She has this look that tells me that something is about to go down. She has this determined look and her steps are angry. The elder walks away and Raven stops in front of us and looks me dead in the eye.

“I don’t understand why the Moon goddess chose you to be his mate. You’re just a simple human. You don’t have the strength of a werewolf. What can you do to protect the pack from danger? Nothing, you can’t do nothing because you’re a weak human. It should have been me. Moon goddess should’ve chosen me instead. I’m the daughter of a Beta and I’m one of the strongest warriors this pack has. This is not fair, is not fair that we get a human for Luna”

Kade steps in front of me and stares down at Raven with so much rage.

“How dare you speak to her like that. Soon she will be your Luna that you have to serve and protect. And how dare you question the Moon goddess. The mother Luna, the one who brought all of us life. I know your father taught you better than this so where on the way did it go wrong. I don’t want to hear one more disrespecting thing coming from your mouth Raven. If I do, you'll become a rogue. Do you understand”

“But is not fai”

“DO YOU UNDERSTAND”

Kade uses his Alpha voice against Raven and Raven falls down on her knees by the power coming from Kade. Raven is not the only one who gets affected. Every werewolf in the garden becomes quiet and lowers their gaze. For the first time I understand how powerful Kade is. and I feel a thrill wash through my body.

“I asked do you understand Raven”

Raven nods and shows her neck in submission. Kade lets go of the power he has on her and the others and turns to me and takes me in his arms. He puts his face against my neck and takes in my scent. I can feel how he calms down and I let my hand caress his hair.

“Mila, the Oracle is here to meet you”

I let go of Kade and I turn around and see Jade standing behind me. Kade step back from my embrace but keeps his hand on my back.

“The Oracle is here to meet Mila” Kade ask.

“Yes Alpha Kade, I sent for the Oracle the day you two met. I had a vision after you left that I should send for the Oracle. And now the Oracle is here”

“Can Kade come too, he’s my mate after all"

“The Oracle asked for Alpha Kade too. She’s waiting in Alpha Kades office so let's go”

With my hand in Kades I follow him to his office with Jade walking behind me. I see a woman with a veil in sheer black fabric stand in front of us when we walk into the office. She’s wearing a black long dress from an Era a long time ago. She looks both old and young at the same time and her powers radiate out of her and I immediately feel a great respect for her.

“Welcome Mila Lind from a different realm. I understand that you need me to foretell you your destiny and your past. Come sit down opposite of me, relax and let me in into your mind”

Her voice is deep and strong like the earth but also light and fluid like the wind. She is dark skinned, thin and taller than Kade.

“Come child don’t fret, I’m here to help”

I slowly walk up to her and take the seat opposite hers and meet her gaze. Her eyes radiate such wisdom, wisdom older than our universe. She close her eyes and the silence takes over. Suddenly she begins chanting in an ancient language. Her eyes are all white when she opens them again and they start to glow.

“You, Mila Lind, have always had ties to Isteria.You can trace your ancestors on your fathers side far back. I follow their traces as far as 1000 years back.Your father is a Realm Walker. One of the strongest Isteria ever had”

“My father, but he never told me this, why would he keep this from me”

“I’m not speaking of the man you grew up with, I’m talking about your real father. He met your mother on one of his travels to your realm. He fell in love with your mother and stayed with her for many years. But a Realm Walker never stays in one place for too long. They’re always on the move, visiting different Realms, making sure there’s no sign of war brewing between other Realms and our one. So he left your mother before she could tell him that she was carrying his child. He left without a trace so your mother believed that something bad happened to him. She gave birth to you and it was only the two of you. Then after a couple of months the man you know as your father showed up and let you and your mother into his life. Your mother fell in love again and decided to tell you that he was your real father”

“Oh mother, my sweet loving mother, she didn’t have to keep that secret from me”

“She didn’t do it for you, she did it for herself. To keep her heart protected”

I get teary-eyed thinking about what my mother has been through. The man she loved just disappeared one day leaving her to believe he was dead. And to keep getting reminded of him every time she was looking at me must have been very hard. The only way for her to protect her from hurting was to pretend that my father I grew up with was my real father.

I gently wipe away my tears and look back at the Oracle.

“So what can you tell me about my fate, why did I end up here. Is it only because I’m fated to be with Kade”

The Oracle leans forward without saying a word and puts her index finger on my forehead, just between my eyebrows. I feel a sudden power wash over me, surging through my body. My eyes start to glow for a second and all my senses get stronger and more refined. I can feel that the Oracle has awakened something in me. Something that has been dormant.

“What just happened”

“I activated your third eye and other powers. Powers you need in the future.You see Mila Lind. You’re a Realm Walker just like your father, but that’s not the only power you have. You’re also a Telepath so you have the power to read people's minds. But no one can read yours as long as you don’t let them because you have a mental shield. When that power grows, that mental shield will keep you from getting affected by any superpower, and you’ll be able to shield others from being attacked too. You’ll be able to mind link the whole pack after Kade have marked you”

“But Jade could reach my memories that day I was brought to her”

“Yes, because all your powers were still dormant. Now when they’re activated she won’t be able too”

“How about you Oracle”

“I’m the Oracle, and I’m also time. Only time can always see what is to come. Only time has always seen what has been. Time is the future and the past, time is now and will always be. I’m time and I was here and saw everything come to life. I saw all the different Realms become what they are now. It’s my job to see all, everything and everyone. Nothing is a secret for me. I’ll be here even when everything is dark. I can start time, I can stop time and I can also step outside of time. I am you and you’re me”

With that the Oracle stops talking and stands up. She walks out of the room but stops to look back at me.

“Jade will help you to grow your powers. You have a great role to play Mila Lind. And keep your powers a secret, only the ones closest to you can know about them”

The Oracle leaves us and disappears in the dark night. Jade, Kade and I look at each other not knowing what to say.

I smile when I think about our conversation. I know that I’m extremely lucky to have found a mate from outside my realm that accepted my world so easily. It’s a lot to take in for a girl who’s from a realm where the supernatural are only myth, only stories. Tomorrow I’ll introduce Mila to my parents and then I’m one step closer to making her my and the rest of the packs Luna.
