I was about to reject him when I started feeling dizzy, and the voice of Alpha Dennis echoed in my mind.

Don't you dare, Emily? I will not let you reject me. You will stay in this suite until I say otherwise. That is an order.

I attempted to reject him, but my mouth wouldn't open. I felt paralyzed and unable to disobey him. I am not sure what my next move should be. Unfortunately, now I find myself trapped here, just like Jake had warned me.

I woke up to someone lying on me. I looked at my stomach and realized it was Silas, Silas Porter. His arms wrapped tightly around my body, making me smile. Never in my life have I felt so much love from someone. I was Silas' vampire obsession. I had asked him to take it slow with me, but he was sometimes pushy. Not that I blamed him; I was a catch. Sleeping next to Silas was comfortable, though. I wiggled out of his tight embrace and woke him in the process. He looked at me and tilted his head with a sly smile. He knew he was a catch, also. He took my hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it gently. He then stood from the bed, and vamp ran out of my window. Silas was usually gone before I woke up. It was the first time I had found him in my bed. I knew he liked to sleep beside me. I always felt well-rested when he would sneak in to sleep beside me. Since I was up, I decided to grab a quick shower. Afterward, I dressed in my Metallica T-shirt and favorite blue jeans. I also decided to do my makeup, which consisted of smoky eyes, to help bring out my icy-blue ones and a layer of pink lip gloss. I also blow-dried and straightened my long, rosy-red hair. "Emily Wyatt, you get your ass down here, quick now," my mother shouted from the kitchen. "You're going to be late, Darling." I couldn't wait for summer vacation. It was only days away. I always remember because my birthday is right at the end of school. I grabbed my boots and put them on quickly before heading to the kitchen to eat. I grabbed a few things off the table and started shoving my face. My mother, Grace Wyatt, was a great cook. She was a stay-at-home mom unless the pack house was holding a party. Then, she would pick up some shifts there. Besides the parties, we avoided the pack house and everyone in it. My father, Logan Wyatt, was a local truck driver. We usually saw him at dinnertime. He spent all day on the road. My family was part of the Blood Moon Pack. We were omegas and not your typical werewolves. All that garbage about turning on a full moon was crazy talk. We could turn whenever we wanted to. We got our wolves when we turned 17. My wolf somewhat matched me. She had the same long red hair as mine but had golden eyes instead of my natural icy blue. It may seem like I am an only child, but I am not. My older sister, Avery Wyatt, decided to continue her studies in the human world and decided to go off to college. So, for now, it was us three. It was mostly just my mother and I, but it seemed better when my father was here. He was such a joker. After eating, I grabbed the things I needed for school. I knew I would be late, but I wasn't too worried. Only a few kids minded getting into trouble on their last few school days. What were they going to do, kick me out? "Emily, Honey, don't forget that you have to take your finals today," Mom said as I walked toward the door. I nodded to her to let her know I had heard her. Today's final was going to be easy for me. It was about werewolves. I had that subject covered by being one. I was more worried about the one I had to take tomorrow on the Living Dead. I figured I would be okay, though; my best friends were a ghost and a vampire. It shouldn't be too hard. With me being Silas' obsession, I knew a lot about vampires. A vampire's obsession is a deep love that makes it so they can't think about anyone else. They can feel what you feel emotionally. Silas can also smell and hear me from miles away. It was pretty cool. But that was why he was so lovely to me all the time. Unfortunately, the only way that I could return the strong feelings is if I let Silas turn me. Silas was a beautiful creature. He had raven black hair, crystal blue eyes, and snowy-white skin. He was tall and muscular, like all vampires. Silas also had his tongue pierced, which sucked when he kissed me. The silver hurt me at first, but then he changed his ring tongue ring. He was good at keeping himself in check around me. Of course, some days were better than others. He had warned me that the obsession would only grow and would be more complex and challenging to control himself. He said that one day I might have to kill him. I chose to let him be my friend instead to try and help him control his obsession a little better. When I got into my car, my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller ID and saw it was my friend Tate Young. He was a ghost that went to school with us. Our school catered to all sorts of creatures. A few of them are vampires, witches and wizards, werewolves, ghosts, and even fairies and trolls. Sometimes, we even welcomed the occasional shapeshifter. Tate was never happy. It wasn't his fault, though; he was dead. Tate died in the 1800's due to a horrible flu mixed with pneumonia. I tried to get him to go to some therapy, but he refused. I answered the call. "Hello, Tate. I know I am late. I will be there shortly." "Emily, guess what happened at school today," he whined through the phone. "Did you master your possession?" I asked happily. Tate had been trying to practice possession for a long time now. "No," he replied sadly. "There was just a fire in the art room. Mr. Ortega couldn't get it under control quick enough, and it spread throughout the school." "So, does that mean they have shut down school for the day?" "Until further notice, actually," he replied softly. "What am I doing awake then?" I asked out loud. I was getting ready to leave my car and return to bed when I heard a scuffle over the phone. I then listened to the phone switch off speaker mode. After the scuffling had stopped, I heard Silas' voice on the other end of the phone. "You can always come to hang out with me," Silas said seductively. "I can't. You all are at the arcade. You know I don't like going into human territory." "It will be fine, Baby. Just come to me," he replied. He sounded so sweet. I couldn't help but listen. His treating me sweetly melted my heart even if I knew we couldn't be together. "Alright, I guess so, but I will be hanging out with Tate as well," I said sternly. Silas said a quick 'I love you' before I hung up the phone. I didn't say it back. I loved him but knew I had to save myself for my werewolf mate. It was hard, though. Silas was always so good at making me laugh and feel good. I wasn't sure if it was just how he was or because of the obsession, but he always tried to make me happy. I texted my mother about school and then backed out of the driveway. The arcade wasn't far away. I didn't want to go to school today, and now I don't have to. I wanted to get in more studying for my other finals. I had to split my chapters up so that they would sign me. I'm sorry for the cuts in the story.
