Chapter 3

Mark wakes up to the sound of his alarm clock going off. The perpetual pattern of behavior over the course of a few years. 5:00 am the clock buzzes and flashes. The morning routine begins. Usually starting with a cup of coffee. Sometimes enjoyed on the way to the gym where he would train for health, maintenance and prosperity. He enjoyed exercising as part of a healthy lifestyle, often resting in between gym days so that over training would not become an issue. He believes training and health plays a major roll in life success, targeting stamina and endurance this morning. Mark lives in Miami, Florida. Graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in the field of computer networking. Gaining a large portion of wealth from the investment prophets generated within the industry. Followed by a reallocation, now with a firm foundation in real-estate as well as continuing to grow in the networking world. Purchasing at the time, comparing to others a rather small but independent microchip manufacturing company, where he put his spin on the company, making upgrades to the hardware and software. Always being aware of the best and worst possibilities. Both hardware and software are currently in the developmental stages. What more could be said about the wonderful world of computer cybernetics. Single with no children, Mark often visits his mother and other members of his family. Sharing with them a very loving and strong bonded relationships, as with all other relationships putting forth his best effort. Marks dad passed away when he was younger and ever since then it’s been all about work, studies mom and family. Back at the gym he finishes up his morning workout with a short amount of time to spare. Back on the road headed home, deciding to stop by a cafe to enjoy a latte and or maybe a pastry. He thinks towards to how he could enjoy the moment and by utilizing the time and resources of the visit to go over a few emails. Enjoying his pastry while sipping on his latte before logging in. Accessing his inbox he notices an email from Martin. Martin a shareholder in the company and playing a role in the coding success of the processors and the ongoing improvement of the software. Mark employed Martin to assist in the algorithm errors that were occurring with the upgraded processor compatibilities. A few years back rated top in his field and didn’t come cheap. Martins resume and history spoke for itself. Their relationship continues to grow and evolve to the best as well as the company they have made their own. There steady advancement and success over the course of the years in a way reflect their relationship. Showing consistency, correcting programing errors occurring within other devices and software in the past, he has developed and fine-tuned his craft over the course of a lifetime. He feels as if he is personally invested in the success of the devices and software. After all, he was employed to help work out certain problems occurring within the software and hardware. The possibilities, doors and paths created upon the completion of their long hours and late nights at work brought a whole new world of possibilities to the forefront. The email reading ‘success to the supporting software'. Martin needed a good time to contact him that would fit into his schedule. He finishes up his coffee and pastries. Making small talk with the waiter as he concludes his experience, maybe giving her a bit of a flirtatious smile on his way out. The best time to contact him today is more than likely going to be in the evening. His reply noted, the best time considering work and errand time, 7pm or so would give him enough time. He thought by this time he could be preparing dinner or going through emails. Possibly scanning his portfolio or lying around the house being lazy just relaxing. Going over a list in his mind, of a dinner to prepare on his way in, he decided to stop by a fresh seafood location not too far from home. There he thought the choice for fresh sea bass alone with fresh steamed vegetables would work wonders together. The phone rings from across the room. RING! RING! Justin is calling. 'Hello', Mark answers. They have a very interesting relationship, first meeting at science camp during their high school years. They’ve shaped and developed their relationship very well over the course of time. Justin, attending California State University. Where he earned his degree in the field of computer networking, leaning toward robotics and micro computing. Justin’s mother and father come from a long history of successful men and women. Justin’s father got his start in the dot com industry. The majority of their family have been gifted with computer intellect and large accounts. Now having upgraded, moving into the microchip manufacturing industrial area. Multiplying in strength, wealth and success in the crypto area and thus his further proving himself. Justin was offered a great gift, being gifted with a portion of his father’s wealth. Justin accepts and receives ownership of 'Voice Com'. Usually having conversations ranging from guy stuff, business and school, he calls Mark to see how his day has been going and to get his opinions on a few things going on in his mind. Even the dinner was up for talk at one point. On this call he wanted his opinion on devices discovered at an expo. Sharing his opinion on the subject, Mark brings up the dates of future tech rallies that they have planned from a year ago now. The dates were reconfirmed with a short discussion on the topic, then finding themselves back on tonight’s dinner choice. Consulting each other with confidence and backed by their success. Like good old buddies just calling to check up on one another. As time passes the call comes to a close. Mark standing over his oven, hanging up the phone. He now is trying to decide which way he should cook the fish so that it’ll work best with the vegetables. Deciding to go with grilled fish and steamed vegetables as his night’s style on seafood preparations. The steam and the heat rise in the kitchen as the fish and veggies are cooked to perfection. Deciding to enjoy the meal in an outdoor setting: enjoying his meal on the patio. Taking a sip of his wine, relaxing in a moment of somber and solitude before taking a bite. Focusing on each individual flavor that the meal he has prepared has to offer him. Delicious, absolutely delicious he thought to himself. Back inside the kitchen, he finishing up the dishes. With all chores completed, and cleaning up after himself. Deciding he would head toward his office to do some work and wait on Martin. Scanning through his emails he notices that it will soon be 7pm. The time he is expecting the call from Martin. The phone rings nearly exactly around 7pm. Martin is calling. Hello Martin. 'Good evening' Mark replies. Good afternoon, replying with an old friendly and cheerful tone combined. Martin has been working on a project for Mark, making recent alterations, followed and advancements to a piece of software. Going into detail, explaining the situation and the reason for the call. To update him as well as to get the updated mailing address of the location he would like to receive the tech for further studies: maybe even to say hello. During the conversation, Mark takes the lead attempting a plan. Inviting Martin to a known upcoming seminar. Always looking to further their relationship, wisdom as well as gaining new insight. He thought it was worth a try, after all there are friends, having traveled many places and spending plenty of time together. Seminar, weather, lectures, holidays and family, are a few of the topics usually covered over the course of their conversations. Mark attempted to navigate forward to prevent as much work related thinking as he could during the duration of the call. I guess attempting to pull the cool employers and friends card. However it didn’t bother Martin, he is thrilled to report advancements in his research. The software was functioning correctly and communicating with all the hardware as it should. After all, everyone has their own life and decisions to make. They come up with the idea of researching in their regions, so during their next conversation they would have a topic foundation ready. Martin would browse the Northwest US, while Mark would search the Southeastern US region, but in reality where is home on an island so to speak. Both nearest there home town, there future talk would grow from there research. Mark quickly researching Martins region. Letting him know that he has found one that fits the criteria, if he would like to check it out. It could possibly be great if it could fit into their schedule on such short notice. The idea sparked: the next few days Martin would have to search a few options before he could hang with Mark, in the attempt to cover the topic on such short and spontaneous notice before he would know enough to respond. As the conversation winds down to a close Martin let's Mark know that he has to get a bite to eat and get ready for bed before it gets too late. Both said there fair wells. Letting each other know that they look forward to an email or call in the future for updates and for the verification of the updates success. They end the call, both pleased about the contact made. Once again Martin makes his way towards the kitchen, deciding to have a quick snack. Allison stretched out on the couch giving all her attention to a love thriller on the television. Asking if she would like anything while he was in the kitchen. Answering no to his offer, she then goes into details as she covers a couple highlights in the movie that’s caught her attention. Retreating to the office letting her know if she needed anything, she knew where he would be. Allison redirecting her attention back to the captivating storyline of the motion picture. Back in the office, he logs into the terminal checking the status of a few processes that he has been running in the background. Not too long ago, he put notice in for his retirement and has recently been accepted. Now creating an even more exciting dynamic in his life. The retirement gathering is being arranged by the base where he is currently stationed. Rewarding and honoring him for his more than two decades of service. Martin enlisted in the Air Force not long out of high school, continuing to advance his education and knowledge in the field of computers. During the duration of his career, he has toured too many parts of the world to cover his career in his field. These places is where he has met and developed relationships with all kinds of people. Small and large as well as good and bad. Being met with many challenges throughout the course of his military career. Making his way to the living room, informing Allison he was turning in for the night, and if she needed him he would be lying down. Lying on the bed staring at the ceiling, he can’t help but notice how great life is and how it’s currently going through progressive change. So many emotions flood his mind as he lay there in silence. Silence to the emotions, lying there in silence pondering the possibilities of the tomorrow to come. His wife comes to his mind, the thought of how sexy she looked lying on the couch. Her sexuality crossed his mind and he thought about how much he wanted her. Mark back home sits at his computer finishing up a few responses to the family and colleagues. Returning to a lying down on the couch, scrolling through his mobile device and surfing through social media, he discovered it helps him feel more in contact sometimes. A surprise to Mark, A longtime friend sends him a message saying 'hello'. At first a sort of shock and surprise. He begins to create conversation with her. As the night goes on, they find themselves having a rather decent conversation. One that invites in some serious energies and emotions. The adulthood seem to emerge from both on this encounter. The emotions of the conversation offered so many new perspectives, as well as offering much more enlightenment. Mark never being the type to be stuck in the past, however occasionally wonders about everyone from the past. Often wondering how she has been doing, and now was in his life. Very interesting to him how the night could change with this simple yet moving conversation. He was happy about it. The feminine contact really instilled some worth in his mind and soothing the night even more. Having had a really interesting conversation for a while and catching up. They both couldn't stop talking about how nice it’s been talking to each other once again. The talk of a breakfast or dinner came up as if they were picking up right where there left off. The conversation changed the whole chill on the couch mood. He begins to steep a hot cup of, he takes a sip and instantly he feels calmness come over him. He suddenly sees his life through a different perspective. A moment of growth and prosperity occurs. He continues on through his tea, enjoying the outdoor moment. The weather was calm and cool. The nocturnal creatures were starting to emerge and night time sounds grew. Combining all the dynamics, his night was turning out startling and surprising. All the wonderful works of nature were bringing his night to a great end. He makes his way back to the couch. Lying there in silence, peace and now wonder. A few words that could be used to describe his current state of mind consolidate in his mind. The day has turned out great for him and slowly comes to a close. As the background fills with silence he closes his eyes while drifting off to sleep.
