She was waiting for him in her beautiful wedding dress in their bedroom. The continuous thoughts of Arsal, her family, her wedding were hitting her. She was unaware of the numerous calls of Arsal coming on the phone due to the silent mode of her phone.  Suddenly the door opened with a thud sound and her husband entered the room. By his irregular steps, she understood that he was drunk. He sat on the edge of the bed, silently. These 2-3 minutes felt like hours to her. She decided to break the ice and tell her official husband about Arsal.  "Arjun I know we should have this conversation before our marriage, but due to the circumstances, we were unable to do so." Ruhani said trying to ease the tension between them.  Arjun chuckled sarcastically over her remark.  She continued, "I want you to be aware that I was in love with a guy before, his name was Arsal, he left me heartbroken. But now as you are my husband, I really want this marriage to succeed, I will try my best to love you with all my heart."  Ruhani was confused by the silence.  Suddenly she felt her cheek sting by the slap that was landed on it.
