Hila, satisfied with the elder's response, lets go of him and directs her attention to Kay. "I am so sorry for this disrespect from the wolf beneath you," Hila bows her head and Kay has a mischievous glint in her eyes. "How did you get him to submit? You're not Alpha?" Kay asks, and Hila gives her a smile. "I have Beta blood in me, and therefore I can get anyone beneath me to submit," Hila explains. Drex is getting a bit annoyed again. "Why don't you know these things, young one?" he asks, clearly annoyed by all this. "Didn't you learn this in school?" Drex adds. Kay frowns at this. "No, I have been in the wild for as long as I can remember. Isn't that school thing normal for you guys?" she answers honestly. The entire living room is quiet. Clearly taken by this new discovery. Drex is angry at this and glad at the same time. No other pack has claimed her. The part that makes him angry is the fact that no one came for her, no pack took her in as a pup. Who would abandon a white wolf pup? "That's not normal, Kay. You've lived on your own since you can remember?" he asked, and she nods at this immediately. Hila suddenly hugs her. A life-threatening growl forces Hila to remove herself from Kay immediately and expose her neck. Kay doesn't like hugs, especially not from strangers. She doesn't mind the paw touching and fur stroking from time to time, but she hates full-body contact like a hug. "Sorry, Kay. I didn't think about your needs," Hila says quickly, trying to get relief as soon as possible. Kay stopped growling the moment of her apology. Hila sighed in relief. The submission lock was just as painful as it was with Drex. The only difference is, is that Kay just made her feel what she did wrong. It was a way of speaking, making you understand it better. She feels better about it as if she is understanding Kay better. Hila showed Kay to her room for the night. She gets to have a room on the third floor, the same floor as her and Drex. After Hila left Kay in the luxurious room, Kay felt a bit out of place. She doesn’t sleep on any bed or nice surface. Even the carpet in this room seems very inviting for her. Kay had never lived indoors before. This is extremely new to her. Kay sighs while looking around. She discovers the bathroom and finds the floor to be more to her liking. She shifts to her best form and gets comfy before the sleep sweeps her away. Hunger woke Kay this morning, and she heard an unknown voice from within the packhouse. She followed it and found herself in the kitchen door. “Kay?” Hila asked, surprised, and stood up immediately. “You want to eat something?” Hila asks, concerned. Kay nods and walks towards Hila. “Good morning Kay,” Drex greets her and Kay looks over to him. “Good morning Drex,” Kay greets back. Tiffany was furious again. Tiffany is a royal pack member and has been after Drex’s love since his mate passed away. "I will not stand for this!" she yells. Drex narrowed his eyes at this she-wolf. He doesn't like her and she knows it. She doesn't care. Drex and her family are very close and she believes she will marry him. "She is a fake. It has to be! I refuse to accept her!" she adds. Hila glances at Drex, and like always, no emotions from him. “You want to eat something?” Hila asks, concerned. Hila glances at Drex, and like always no emotions from him. He can be scary like that. "No one said anything about you being the next queen or partner for Drex." Hila snaps again. Tiffany always had a problem with Hila treating her like she was below everyone else. Tiffany also has beta blood in her, but apparently, it's not as strong as Hila's bloodline. "Excuse me? Who do you think you are!?" she yells in her high pitch voice again. Kay frowns at her and tilts her head. "Are blue eyes normal for wolves like you?" Kay asks, confused. Kay can see a werewolf's wolf and rank in its human form. This is not the first time she has seen wolves with blue eyes. In her experience, as she studied them, they are lower ranked or mixed with dogs if they were actual wolves. "Blue?" Drex asks curiously about this. Kay looks at him and nods yes. "Her wolf has blue eyes, like the lower members of your pack," Kay informs him. Drex frowns a bit. "Omega?" the word slips out of Hila's mouth without her thinking. She rarely has a filter before speaking. "Really? Like the omegas have?" Drex asks, amused by this. "Omega..." Kay says the word for herself. "The end?" she looks up at Drex again. Drex smiles at this. "Yes, they are to the last member ranking of the pack," he confirms, and Kay nods at him. "She may be one of those. I have seen dog-wolf animals with these same features. I almost thought they were lower-ranked, and she has mixed blood," Kay adds, and Drex gives a little laugh at this. "How can you allow her to insult me like this, Drex?" Tiffany throws a fit in that high-pitched voice that Drex hates. "She is not insulting you. She just made sure I knew your rank," Drex corrects the behavior before Tiffany gets another big ego. "I have Beta blood in me!" she yells with anger. Drex's eyes getting scary again, glancing at her. This makes her shudder a bit and exposes her neck, surrendering to the alpha. "Take a closer look, Tiffany. See what is happening around you?" Drex asks. Tiffany listens and looks around with her eyes. She sees everyone surrendering to their alpha, except one. The white wolf. Her heterochromia iridium eyes, just looking curiously at what is happening at the moment. "Good, you see Kay. She's not affected at the moment," Drex adds, while Tiffany is shocked at this. Even other werewolves' packs will surrender to Drex. "Am I making things clear to you now, Tiffany?" Drex is asking at this time. He doesn't like to show people their places, but he knows sometimes it's a must. Tiffany nods as best she can before the alpha release. “Maybe you should ask your mom about this mixed-blood you have. Someone may have lied to you your whole life so far.” Everyone was breathing out a sigh of relief the moment the release was felt. Hila glares at Tiffany for causing this. Hila hates Alpha's overpowering aura. And when he uses it to make a point, it's even more painful than usual. Hila doesn't experience the alpha aura as much as everyone else. She listens, every time. Tiffany lowered her head to Kay. "What will happen to me now?" Tiffany asks, ashamed, and Drex still watches her. He sighs and can't keep being angry at her. She has no reason to be ashamed of her rank in the pack. It is just a placeholder. Omega can be strong in a pack. Some can even be powerful warriors. Ranks have no place on the battlefield, according to Drex. "Report to the Omega Leader. Let her teach you what you need to do. And you better show her respect or you will have to deal with my wrath again," Drex growls with the last part. Tiffany nods quickly and excuses herself from the room. This pack needs to be in order again and Drex is making sure everyone gets to do their rightful and respected duty for the pack.
