THE STORY CONTINUES, A MONTH AGO. Eda Ambrose, a stunningly beautiful girl who was turned 18 years old, had so many responsibilities to her old sick grandmother. She lost her mother in an accident, her father abandon her and her grandmother when she was about 6 years old. He didn't want any trouble to his rich life which he got after marrying a rich widow. Her grandmother raised her up with great difficulty. When she was growing up with so much love, care that she didn't realize that the world is not as innocent as her. It was cruel and greedy. We live in a world where nothing is for free, even a little kindness. Everybody would want something from you. Someone will try to hurt you; some will betray you without thinking twice for their own benefits. Eda started to learn that if you want to live and eat properly, you will have to work for it, and work hard. Her grandma always taught her to be kind and generous to everyone around her. We have to believe in God, because he always wants the best for us. All she hope that one day she will be able to give her grandmother a very comfortable life. Alas, it's not easy to actually survive in this world. It's so difficult, but she was trying her best. She was still in senior high school, after finishing her classes, she runs back to the restaurant to work as one of the waitress, then help her other workers to finish off their work too. Her nature being nice to people makes other takes advantage of her very easily. But no matter how much trouble she's always in, she always faces them with a big smile on her face. Every time they see her doll like beautiful face, they feel jealous and annoyed. They always wondered how someone can be this innocent without even trying. Why is this girl so elegant and beautiful? She looks like an angel whenever she would smile. This beautiful young girl was not even arrogant about it. But they don't want to admit that instead they would look at her hatefully. She would always welcome people with big smile. Even if she was tired or exhausted, she never forgets to smile like a beautiful flower. Once people notice her, they just couldn't move their eyes away from her. Not just men even woman couldn't help but crushing on her. She is way too beautiful. Her skin was as white as fresh snow. Her cherry red lips, her pitch-dark long hair deifies her beauty thousands times more. Eda would always feel people's eye on her all the time, but she would try to ignore them and do her own work peacefully. It was raining heavily outside, after working too late she forgot how late it was. If it gets too late, she will have a hard time to get a taxi to go back home. Why is it always raining? She doesn't even have an umbrella! Eda lives all by herself in her little rented apartment; her grandma is back in their old village home where she is getting treatment for her illness. She tried to convince her grandmother multiple times to come live with her but she doesn't agree and says that, "I am old and sick. There are many memories of your grandpa in her. I can't die in that big city. It would be a shame; I won't be able to be in peace. Before I die let me stay here, sweetheart. I want to be buried here." After hearing her talking about dying so casually made Eda burst into tears, her grandma used to console her, telling her to be strong, and take care of herself first. But she was not willing to listen to her. "No! No matter what, I will make you better; I won't let anything happen to you. Everyone left me! You are not allowed to leave me! Do you understand?" She somehow controls her sobs, and scolded her old granny who would just laugh in happiness. "Ok, ok, my sweet Eda, I won't go anywhere. I will always be with you. I talk nonsense; forgive your grandma, ok?" Eda would simply just hug her tightly, as if she was afraid to let go off her. She was afraid if she let go, she will leave her just like everyone did. She was so weak and sick; they had to take huge loan for her treatment. That's why; all she has been is doing work so she can pay off the remaining depts. She was happy that her grandma was much better now. "Eda, what happened? Why are you crying?" One of her co-worker asked her feeling concern. This is the only person who was actually nice to her all the time. Eda didn't realize when she was crying. Wiping her tears, she tried to give her best smile and replied, "Nothing I am just feeling a little tired, my head hurts a little bit." Eda felt her body hurting, maybe it's because she has been running everywhere, working all the time. Whenever she finds a job application, she takes the small jobs trying her best to make more money. Eda smiled, "I am fine, don't worry. I should go home quickly, I have work tomorrow." "Eda, everyone has problems, that don't mean you will work until you drop dead. You are still young and so beautiful, try to give yourself some time too. You are overworking yourself, right guys?" She tried to make her feel good. But she can't possibly waste time on herself, right? She had so many responsibilities. Some time she was really proud of herself, to be able to take care of her most lovely grandma. "Just chill, Eda. No problem could be this big that you could go to this extent, right?" "What's the point of being so beautiful? She is still suffering, isn't she?" "She doesn't have a boyfriend maybe because she has high expectations. Many guys are rejected by her ruthlessly every single day." "What's so good about being so arrogant? If it was me I would never be able to that hurt to those guys, they also looked from good families, right?" "Right, I have never seen Eda talk to any men." "I bet she is still a virgin, ha-ha!" They kept talking about her like she didn't exist there. She felt tears blurring her eyes again, But she somehow control herself. She didn't response to their remarks and left silently. No, Eda, you are not allowed to let them hurt you; you still have a long way to go. You can't let other people bring you down so easily. That's not fair to all the work you have been doing every day. In this world, she was all alone. All she had is her Grandma. She didn't need anyone! She is happy all by herself. Eda doesn't want someone in her life who is just blinded by her beauty. She wants them to understand her heart. And who says that one must have a partner to be happy? She is worth more than just her beauty. Her grandma taught her better. For her, she can do anything even forget herself. Eda thought her life will keep going on just like any other days, but she was wrong. She had no idea a person will enter life whether she likes it or not and she will change everything. Unknowingly, she will be grabbing the devil's attraction. Eda left the restaurant with a big smile; she started to walk towards her home, where she will finally be able to rest properly. After walking for a while, she felt her vision getting blurry, what's happening to her? Then she realized all this time she has been walking in this heavy rain without an umbrella. She is soaking wet. Her hold body was cold like ice. She kept shivering like a leaf. "It's so cold." No... "What--" "Squeak--" Eda suddenly collapsed into the middle of the road. The sports car wiped the ground and stopped in front of her. When she saw the man in the car, Eda felt her scalp being numb. There is no way she just fall right in front of the Devil... Dead would be much better than this... In front of her was Darius King. Who is Darius King? The Second Young Master of the King family called the ruthless monster who wouldn't think twice about getting rid of people who will dared to stand in his path, but now she was blocking his car? She must not really love her life. Eda subconsciously raised her hand to support herself from the ground. Just when she thought about quickly getting up and running away, the car door has been pushed open. In front of her is a pair of shiny leather shoes and up there are straight and slender legs wrapped in black trousers. It was quite attractive. Looking up again, Eda clearly saw the distinct fingers buckle gently on the bow tie, and the man raised Adams apple moved slightly. Finally, there was a well-defined face with dark looking pair of eyes. His thin beautiful red lips smiled a little. It was absolutely sinister. She felt like she just saw a Devil. He just looked at her condescendingly, and Eda's heart was suddenly chilling. Everything is so dark and quiet; she didn't dare to say a word. Eda stayed on the ground. She thought of giving way maybe faint, but now, she didn't even dare to move at all. She pursed her lips and only hoped that the man in front of her could show her mercy, just this once. But in the next second, the man moved suddenly, and she only felt her vision dimmed slightly. Before she could react, she heard Darius King's sarcasm: "How can you give me such a big gift as soon as I return?" With that, he suddenly reached out to her. Eda froze for a while, looking at the slender knuckles in front of her hand, her fingertips felt a little cold. Seeing her motionless, Darius chuckled slightly, "Why, you can't move anymore, want me to hold you up?" His familiar tone made Eda's face paled. She pursed her lips. Just when she was about to say something, there was a flash of light around the corner. No one had thought of this sudden change, and Eda subconsciously looked at Darius King. The smile on his face deepened a bit, but when he glanced over the reporters, his eyes were cold. They immediately stopped filming, but it was not enough. Darius's men come forward and broke each one of their camera. Seeing this Eda was already scared. Darius King retracted his gaze, suddenly stretched out his hands and hugged her weak body. Eda was taken aback for a moment, then reacted and pushed him subconsciously: "Master Darius--" "Little thing, I advise you not to move." He looked down at her, his eyes light and fluttering, but her heart trembled a few times. No matter where she dared to move, a word from the Second Young Master of the King Family was enough for her to have a trouble in breathing. The person in his arms was as stiff as a piece of wood. He smiled and directed Eda to the co-pilot. When she was put inside, he went around and got into the car too. Few of the reporters who caught them, did not dared to catch up. The Second Young Master of the King Family is not easy to provoke, they still know this self-knowledge. In the car, Eda's mind went blank. She remembered all kinds of rumors about the man beside her over the years, and her hand holding her clothes tightened subconsciously. What is going to happen to her now? But what happened to her? Why dare she even follow this man to his car? She really must be going insane, right?
