CHAPTER : 1

Las Vegas, U.S.A, Headquarters of Francis, Mark, and Christopher Jackson, the Vampire Prince's, who are second, third, and fourth in line to the royal crown. They were successful businessmen. They were all dressed in business suits. They were enormous in stature. They were less than 30 yrs of age. They were raising a toast to greet the moon, seen from the balcony, on the 50th floor. They were basking in the moonlight, the way we mortal's derive Vitamin - D from the early morning sunlight. The first in line to the royal throne, Advocate. Theodore Jackson on the other hand had settled down in Canada. He has managed to retain a minuscule spark of human conscience. Unlike his clan, he does not consider himself someone special, or a chosen one. Though he knew he was fortunate to have survived the Vampire war in the year 1500 and had escaped from England.  Theodore was lost deep in thoughts, in the chilled winter of Canada. He knew one thing for sure that 'Even Vampires Don't Live Forever.' He had an intuition of deep trouble coming his away. He was brooding and he wondered if these thoughts and feelings were the beginning, of their end. He knew that even Vampires did not live forever. Their father Giordanni Jackson is the Vampire King. He is the proud father of the four Vampire Prince's. He has been made by the maker himself in the year 1100. His blood and the blood of his progeny were among the purest in the Vampire nation.  He had gone to visit his three sons, in Vegas. He found them enjoying and making merriment, they greeted him and offered him a glass made of heavy crystal, containing the finest claret. Giordanni sipped deeply. His keen intuition warned him that trouble was on its way. The Vampire witch Azura had been demanding, for a meet with the Vampire king. She had a relentless ambition for world domination. Giordanni was sipping on the red wine, but his mind was preoccupied somewhere else. He then thought that it was not a good idea to think about that witch Azura. It was no point to attract her attention. Azura had broken all the Vampire laws, by dabbling in the art of black magic. The latest story was that the witch could read the minds of both humans, as well as Vampires.  Giordanni's eyes were those of a predator. They were cold and dark. Those eyes had seen too much for too long. They were now scanning the skies, searching for any movement that would alert him, to the presence of unwelcome, eyes, and ears. He then took another sip of wine and cast a wary glance upon his sons. With a deep rumbling in his voice, that vibrated through the air, Giordanni announced to his son's that magic is again entering our world. I do not think it is something to worry about. It is not the first time that magic is trying to rule the world. It has been defeated before. It shall be defeated again. I admit that young Vampires are very careless, especially in Africa and Europe. I don't believe that they want to return to the old ways of drinking human blood. He said "Let's face it, humans, no matter how stupid, are very hard to kill. For centuries they have managed to dodge any number of mass extinction events. The World Health Organisation and many more are winning the war against the spread of disease. So it is just some-time we have, till we might probably get discovered. As per my information, they have been doing D.N.A sequencing of Vampire blood. Surely this could threaten our existence."   Giordanni was worried, not even one of his sons had taken the time to find their mate. Although his son Mark had found his human mate, he had not taken the final step to bring his wife into their world, to take her vein. Mark believed in equal opportunities and women's rights. He believed that the ultimate step to bring a woman into their world, must not be forced upon his bride and the love of his life.  Giordanni, glowered, and glared in useless frustration. Even though their yearning is upon them, none of them are doing their duty, he thought. He thought that his sons must spread their seeds far and wide, only then would their race survive and prosper. They were born Vampires so why the hell didn't they embrace their race? He was thinking that they were probably running out of time. He knew that it was true, for their race to survive, they were pitted against their human opponent who had their technology advancing at too fast a pace. Which was every day bringing a heightened risk, so that the Vampires could be discovered?  Giordanni was also worried that it was not only humans who were happy snappers with their mobile phones, but also rebellious young Vampires, who had been too stupid to live, were walking a very shaky line of being discovered, with their sensational YouTube videos, f******k pages, Face-time, and also Twitter. Oh Lord, even his sons were used to tweeting. How the hell had the fate of his species come down to hashtags? Giordanni had lived for so long that he understood the inquisitiveness and sheer determination, of the human mind and the human spirit. They have already worked out so much, which was a harsh reality, and needed to be accepted. How long would it take for humans, to c***k the code and open their portals? Giordanni then cast a probing glance towards the sky. His dark gaze narrowed, on the hundreds of Vampire warriors stationed on rooftops, for as far as eyes could see. They were warriors of their personal bodyguards, moving on the top of Vegas's highest buildings. For this meeting, they were on high alert and combat-ready in their black leather armor.  Giordanni then thought about his eldest son Theodore. He told his son that he had given a reminder to Theodore for this meeting. But he had replied back that he has some issues on hand. Giordanni, then said that he would visit, Theodore very soon.
