Chapter 2Sunday Morning Jason got up at seven a.m. to grind his coffee beans and make the coffee. The one luxury he allowed himself was good coffee made fresh from ground beans. He’d love an espresso machine but that was another dream he locked inside. He was wide-awake. It seems that after a year of getting up early with Kitty, his body didn’t get the message that it could sleep late. His hangover was mild because he’d taken aspirin and drank plenty of water before he got into bed. He didn’t have that much to drink anyway, only five shots, but in reality only two. His friends partially spilled two of the shots, the fifth one Jason had barely touched—however that was one shot over his usual limit. He would have rather had two pints of a local brew.
