Lindsey smacked her food tray on the lunch table and sat down with her cheer outfit on. "Who else is exited for the game?!" Nobody else spoke up while looking at her. She huffed sitting down. "Well, I am." "It'll be cool." Reme spoke up. "I never went to my old schools game before." The cheerleader gave Kade and Taylor a pointed look. "You make sure she has fun." Kade bit his lip staring at her. "I'll make sure she has a good time." Reme blushed and looked down at her food. She was surprised Taylor hadn't said anything. To put it short, Kade had a very short conversation with him yesterday after school. "What time does it start?" "Around 6." She frowned, her parents had already made plans and needed the car. Their family owned one car and she knew she wasn't getting it tonight. "Everything alright?" Kason asked next to her. She nodded. "Yeah." "Need a ride?" "No it's okay, I can walk." The bell rang and he stood up with his uneaten lunch. "I'll pick you up at 5:30." She watched him walk over before calling, "You don't know where I live!" He turned around with a charming smile. "I have my ways." - Reme walked into her 7th period class and couldn't wait till 8th period when school would finish. She was actually excited for the game. She was pleasantly surprised when she saw Kade and Kason already sitting down. Kason nodded his head to where Reme stood and Kade looked over. He motioned her to sit in the stool across from them. Unlike many of her classes it was a table instead of desks that could fit four people. Walking into the room you could instantly tell it was a science classroom. "Get lost?" Kade asked, she had gotten here much later than them. "Your school is so big." She huffed sitting down. He chuckled and the bell rang. The teacher walked in just as it did and set down his unorganized stack of papers. "We have a lab today like I said last class. Did everyone bring your googles back?" Students nodded and the teacher looked to where Reme sat. "You're new right?" She nodded. "Kade could you get her a pair please?" The older twin got up and went to one of the many filings cabinets around the room. He handed her the googles and sat down. "Work with those at your table and take the samples on the triple beam balance measuring them then putting them in the water. Tell me what changed on the papers I provided. I'll be walking around to make sure everyone is working." Taylor who she now noticed in the front raised his hand. "Yes Mr. Lohan?" "Can't we just use one paper?" "If it were Ruby yes, you no." A few students snickered as he grumbled something under his breath. "Get to work. I'll check results towards the end of class." "Why do we need goggles?" Someone called out. "It's just water." "There's chemicals in the water." "Don't you think you should've told us that?" "You would've figured it out." He waved off and sat down at his desk. Reme smiled, she knew she'd like this class. Putting the googles on she leaned forward to see the paper. "It says to do the cube first." Kason grabbed it after measuring and dropped it in the water. They waited a few seconds and watched the light green paint turn to a dark blue. Taking it back out and putting it on the balance beam, the weight had not changed. After recording it they went on to the stick. There were only seven objects they needed to do which they finished in record time. Taking their googles off Reme spoke, "Are you nervous for the game?" "I don't usually feel nervous until the ball is in my hands." Kason admitted. "I bet you'll do great," She smiled happily. "Does your team usually win?" "We have our loses." Kade rolled his eyes. "He's being modest. They haven't lost a game this season." She beamed at them. "That's really good!" He ran a hand through his hair embarrassed. "Thanks." "What about football. Are you any good?" "I'm alright." This time Kason rolled his eyes. "They haven't lost either." "That's amazing! From what I heard my old school lost all their games." "You never went to a game?" "Nope." "Ever?" "Never." "I can guarantee you're not going to be disappointed them." Kason grinned. "I'll hold you against that if I am." He gave a half smirk. "How do you guys have time for sports with being the Alphas?" "It's not that hard really." Kade shrugged. "We've been trained since we were little what to do in certain situations and so far those situations have not come up. Our pack is pretty neutral." "Do you like that or wish for more?" "Um," He laughed lightly. "I don't want the pack to get attacked if that's what you mean." "Well yeah," She giggled. "I mean, do you wish you had more things to do. Or responsibility?" Kason shook his head. "It was like that when we first got handed the position, at 16. It was stressful at times and we were constantly in meetings." "What about school?" "We missed so many times they tried to expel us." He laughed. Reme gasped. "Did they?" He motioned towards his body. "I'm still here." Her body flushed realizing how stupid her question was. "Right, sorry..." She trailed off awkwardly. He waved her off and licked his lips. "Do you still need chapstick?" He smirked. "Nah, I got some yesterday." - There was a knock at her front door and Reme's eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. She walked downstairs in what she wore to school and opened the door. Believe it or not she was surprised to see Kason standing there. "How'd you find my house?" "I'm the Alpha, princess." He said and walked in when she motioned him to. "Right," She trailed off. "I didn't think you'd be coming right now, I need to change." He motioned for her to go. "Take your time." "Thanks." She called back running up the stairs to change quickly. When she came back down Kason took his time in checking her out. The white high wasted shorts really made her legs pop with the black crop top. He's seen girls at his school wear things like this and turned the other way but she made it look modest. "If you're going to wear a crop top you should at least show of your belly button ring." Reme giggled pulling the shirt down. "No thank you." She made sure no skin was showing around her stomach before slipping her converses on. "Ready?" She nodded and opened the front door letting him step out. She quickly locked it and walked with him out to the car. She was surprised seeing Jamie and Kade already in. "You could've come inside guys." Jamie waved her off silently as she sat next to him in the back. Kason sat in the drivers seat and pulled out of her driveway. "It doesn't start till six so it's just going to warming up at first." He warned her. She smiled. "Sounds fun. Get yourself hype." He laughed and took a right turn. When they pulled up at the school again there were already a lot of people waiting outside for the game to start. They slipped past the people till they were inside. Their team and the other schools guys were already inside warming up. Kade sat down at the bleachers with Jamie and the basketball player took his hoodie off showing his jersey. Kason took his off and pulled Reme to the side, he'd noticed her shivering when they got out of the car. "Wear this." She instantly refused. It was his basketball hoodie with his number on it. "I can't." "Wear it." He gave her a pointed look that dared her to defy him. Reme gingerly took it from him and slipped the large thing on. "Thank you." She whispered shyly. "It suits you." He complimented. She bit her lip when he clapped his hands together. "Time to get hype."
