Fated to my Frenemy.

Something beyond the norm.

"Clara!, when you pen your eyes I need you to concentrate your mind and only your mind on me ok". Shimmer spoke softly.

"Ok, I understand", I utter back nervously as I wondered if Midnight did the same thing with Ryder.

"Ok Clara, You need to open your eyes slowly".

As I opened my eyes, I almost freak out but I quickly remembered what shimmer had told me. I knew it was important to stay calm.

There Shimmer stood before in a semi corporeal form. It was the weirdest but most beautiful experience I have ever had. I had never been able to see her like this before unless I had shifted and I could look at her through puddles of water or the river. But this was next level.

"Shimmer you are stunning", I utter out to her absolute majestic beauty.

"Thank you Clara, But Please I need you to focus", She spoke to me softly into my mind. "Listen carefully, Ryder needs healing and the only way I can do that is if he is on my back , We also need to get him to help, I can not do that unless you project me fully from your mind".

I couldn't help but feel extremely nervous as this was total unknown grounds. How the hell was this even real.

I took a deep breath and did as shimmer requested. I tried with everything I had in me to project her fully out of my mind. I could see a pale green glow between me and her as I did so. It seemed so surreal and crazy as I watched her walk up to Ryder and grabbed his collapsed body from off the ground with her mouth and gently placed him onto her back.

I wasn't sure at what point he had fully lost consciousness but I guessed it was at the same time she put me in my mindless state so she could gain some kind of control over me.

As she slowly walked up to me I notice that she was pushing some kind of kinetic energy into Ryder.

"We do not have long Clara, Your life is in danger as well", She warned as she walked up right beside me.

I instantly picked up my pace to keep up with her massiveness. As I could not help but wonder if this was her truest form.

As we got closer and closer to the pack I could feel my mind becoming weaker and weaker as I started to struggle to keep her form strong.

"Clara you don't have enough mind strength anymore, You must use the last of your energy to mind link the alpha for help, And everything will be ok". she uttered softly as she placed Ryder onto the ground.

"Do it NOW!, She urged suddenly and i knew instantly it was a must. I instantly mind linked Alpha Mark "Alpha something bad has happened we need you near the fields heading to the river", Just as I finish Shimmer vanished before me into nothingness I could not even sense her presence within me..And then it happened searing unimaginable pain as my body imminently slumped to the ground, My eyes flicker open and closed in and out of consciousness I see pack members suddenly surround us and they begin to pick me up, as I get further and further away from Ryder I began to feel like I was going to die.

I hear Alpha Mark from a distance in a frantic state. The last thing I heard was Alpha Mark yell "Do not separate them They need stay touching, They must stay connected". As the pain become to intense My body completely gave in and I full state of unconsciousness. .

12 Hours later.

I struggle to open my eyes As my eye lids feel like they weigh a profound amount of weight. My body ached profusely but I could not move as body felt numb. My eyelids flicker as I struggle to will my eyes open.

"Open your eyes", I hear very familiar voice and their hot breath on my lips as they spoke.

Suddenly I will my eyes to open And instantly realise that Ryder was literally right in my face and we were stark naked and duct taped together.

"What the f**k is going on", I question as I try to wiggle mysel free.

"Clara we have to stay like this for another 12 hours". Ryder says gently as our noses where touching.

"Another 12 hours?, Do you mean I have been out of it for 12 hours?. I blurt out shocked.

"Yes I heard our Alpha speaking with the doc that we have to remain connected for atleast 24hrs before we even attempt our first separation".

"What the hell is going on Ryder?".

"I wish I understood myself Clara", He uttered as I still felt completely exhausted.

",Lets just get some rest".

I closed my eyes and quickly drifted back off to sleep.
