1. Prologue
Hi, Treasures, and welcome to book III of the 'Traded series'. So far we've laughed, cried and yelled at our favourite characters, and I'm excited to continue with you on the journey once more. This book will make you feel it all again, but will also give you the answers you've been seeking as it prepares us for the fourth and final book on the gang before we move over to Raven's. Before we begin I wanted to take some time to thank you all for your incredible support, your comments, moon tickets, follows - everything. You are the reason these stories get to be read and these characters come to life, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Loss - a nasty, cruel thing. Sometimes, it was as small as losing a bet or a pencil, others - it meant losing your soul, yourself, your will to love and live.
Sofia had a reason to keep going after her first loss. She had a reason to wake up and fight. She had a reason to cry herself to sleep and still wake up with a smile on her face, albeit fake. Her mate might've died but he left her the most precious gift - their daughter, in her care. So, with a heavy heart, the she-wolf did her best and succeeded for a while, until the only reason that she had kept going was lost too.
Zane had only ever wanted peace, his family, and his friends. He was the life of the party, the funny guy, the sunshine on others' rainy days, the bright yellow amongst hues of browns and blacks.
He was fully content to be the Beta of his best friend's pack and his sister's mate. He was perfectly happy while expecting a daughter, his little bean, with the love of his life. Until he lost it all.
How do you recover from a loss this significant? How do you recover when everything else bleeds into insignificance? From going from having a whole to half a soul in seconds? How does one recover from getting the colours and tastes and feelings stolen away from them?
Zane and Sofia both asked themselves similar questions and cursed their fates for not giving them the answers.
