Nandini felt a sharp pain in her stomach, The pain was unbearable for her; she felt as if something had been crawling inside her. The intense pain was making it difficult to breathe, but still, the girl was trying to stay stable. She was about to collapse over the floor, but at the right time, she grabbed the marble stair grill and started inhaling deep breaths to calm her pain. According to her mind, everything was roaming around her; she had been feeling extremely weird inside. Her palm clutched her stomach tightly, and her eyes turned as red as a bloodthirsty animal. Sweat drops were dripping from her face as if she was at some hot place, and her skin had already turned pale. Her condition had become like a fish without water who would say goodbye to the world at any moment. Soon she tumbled hard on her knees and squeezed her eyes tightly. Her body was trembling in pain as the fish struggled without water. The poor girl started feeling as if she would die any second; soon, she felt coldness on her back that was when she realized that she was lying on the floor. **Why didn't you die instead of baby** His words started ringing in her ears. The Airport, Her first slap on his cheek, His deadly soul-trembling gaze, The boxing ring, The accident, The Jail, The college time, Her abduction, His torture, His brutal punishments, His heart-piercing words, His violent nature, The loathing, everything was playing in her mind like a movie. Was this the end of her life? Will she never get the chance to see him again? Will she say goodbye to the world without seeing him? Her heart started beating rapidly, No! This can't be her end. She can't die without seeing him, She can't die without clearing him everything. But why does she want to clear everything up? Before leaving the USA, she promised herself not to look back; she promised herself that she'd never clear anything to him and let him stay in the dark forever. Once again, a sharp pain hit her abdomen, she tried to scream, but no voice came out of her mouth. It was the effect of pain that made it difficult for her to even moan. She was lying very helplessly on the floor. And the worst part was the mansion had more than 50 servants, but still, there was no one around her at this moment, and neither anyone noticed her. Maybe her condition was the punishment of God, as old people used to say that god stick has no sound when he punishes. Soon too much blood started oozing out of her v****a, and her body got a little relaxed. She was lying on the floor like a dead body, and her eyes were staring at the ceiling without blinking. Breathing slowly, she tries to get up as she doesn't want to lose her grip on life at this point but fails miserably. While falling, she witnessed her stained clothes and a pool of blood on the floor. Recalling the time when she was in hospital, her eyes welled up with tears. The bullet shot, The blood and her reports raised many questions in her mind. **Has my child bore the punishment of my deeds? Was I responsible for my baby's death? (All deeds started flashing in her mind) Yes, I am the reason. My child died because of me** Many questions were swirling in her mind like a whirlwind. It seemed to her as if this moment was the last, Like everything is about to end, like now, no tomorrow will come in her life. She was losing all hope, just like dry sand slipping through the palms. She didn't struggle to save herself as she knew there was nothing left in her life now. Her life had turned into barren land, no matter how hard she tried, but no flower could bloom on that barren land. ...................................... Downstairs: Ibrahim still stood in his place like a lifeless doll where Jannat had slipped away from his arms as if she did not know him. Her attire, Her forehead, The nuptial chain, Her tear-filled eyes, Her painful expression, The way she was staring around her and the way she left him alone had made his body numb. Armaan's family was staring at Armaan, But Armaan's gaze was fixed on Ibrahim. With turtle steps, Armaan started sauntering toward Ibrahim; he was looking relaxed, but the entire family was thinking, What decision will Armaan take? Will he return Jannat to Ibrahim back? When a person is in pain, he can understand the pain of another person. Maybe that's why Armaan could read Ibrahim's eyes and could feel his pain too. Armaan wished he could vanish all the pain and questions from Ibrahim's mind, but in the end, he wasn't a god. Ibrahim has to go through this phase of life as this is life, and he can't save Ibrahim from life's darker shades. Soon Armaan stood in front of Ibrahim, staring into his eyes; he put his palm on Ibrahim's shoulder. Ibrahim came back to his sense. First, he looked up toward Sid's room, and then he looked into Armaan's eyes with his red tear-filled, painful eyes. Ibrahim opened his mouth, but instead of words, his tears started falling. He once again tried to speak, raising his palm in the air, but nothing came out. Ibrahim's eyes were holding the never-ending ocean of questions and an infinite universe of pain. It was extremely hard for Armaan to see such a strong man in this condition. He wanted to help Ibrahim, but Armaan knew it too late, and even if he wanted it, he couldn't help him. Till the last round around the holy fire, not only Sid and Jay but Armaan's men were also looking for Ibrahim. Armaan grabbed Ibrahim's arm and pulled him for a tight hug. For a minute, Ibrahim kept standing in Armaan's arms like a dead body then the most powerful person in the Syed family started sobbing like an innocent kid in Armaan's arms, holding Armaan's midriff tightly. Looking at Ibrahim, no one can say that he was the same guy who used to be the stepson of the most powerful political and known to be tackling all the hard situations. "How? How this Why? Why, "The poor guy was struggling badly. He was not able to understand where he should ask the question and how to ask it. His sobs were heard throughout the whole palace, and everyone's heart ached to see his condition. Armaan took Ibrahim toward the couch and made him sit, then he looked at the maid, and she passed him the glass of water. Armaan leaned a glass near Ibrahim, but he refused to drink. Armaan once again tried to make him drink the water, but Ibrahim once again refused, pushing Armaan's hand away. Ibrahim's pov: How could he drink anything? He can't even breathe properly after seeing the worst nightmare of his life. I must be dreaming, I surely must be dreaming! Yes, it was a dream, and I had to get up from this dream. Jannat can never marry anyone except me. She can never betray me. Last night scenes flashed in his mind, and he started shaking his head like a lunatic. Maybe because of last night, I am hallucinating. Yes, I was hallucinating everything. But Armaan! Why has he been staring at me with such an intense expression? I looked around and noticed Armaan's entire family staring at me, including servants. They all were staring at me with sorry expressions, and some of the eyes were holding pity too. You are again hallucinating! Getting up from the couch, I instantly picked up the water glass and empty over my face. I looked around, hoping to see the reality, but everything was as it was before. I felt a tight grip on my shoulder, removing my stunned gaze from them. I looked aside and witnessed Armaan staring at me. "I will not ask you why you got married, Noor, but Janat's marriage to Sid was the declaration of Babasaheb, whom your dearest brother tried to kill. (Ibrahim felt as if someone stabbed a shape dagger into his chest. Armaan's every word was falling on his ear like burning coal falls on human skin) We all tried to search for you, I tried all my sources to reach you, but... " I didn't hear what Armaan said next. Sid and Jannat are married! She got married to Sid! She isn't mine anymore! Baba Sahab forced Jannat to Marry Sid! I could hear Armaan calling my name then he instantly grabbed my arm as I was about to fall back. "Come back to your senses, god dammit!"Armaan said, patting my cheeks, but I wasn't feeling anything. In just a day, I lost everything. Now I have nothing, I looked at my empty hands; just looking at them, I felt disgusted.
