Unsure

I watched as he came out of the cliff wall, like there was a hidden door of some sort behind the water but he couldn't see me so I sat calmly. Even when he came towards me, I was as calm as if no one was there at all. He was tall and thin but a healthy thin with muscles a bit of everywhere on him. Handsome, with dark brown hair and green eyes, he gave off a young type of vibe, I wasn't sure why I thought he was young but it was embedded in my mind. I had a feeling he wouldn't harm me if he knew I was here but I wasn't willing to give my hiding spot up and let anyone know where I was so I sat there until he was out of sight, I still had no clue if I could trust anyone here. If he happened to be on the other side I would have had to fight him and I really didn't want to after gazing into his beautiful eyes. I had a strange pull to him and I couldn't shake the feeling like I knew him from somewhere. I'd have to figure out what I was going to do next if I was going to survive and I needed to be ready to kill him if it came down to it. As he disappeared into the woods I wondered if he was who those creeps had been talking about and why they had him locked up at the mansion anyways, why is he so important? I shook my head, "Get him out of your head...." I whispered to myself. I decided to investigate behind the waterfall to see if there was anything of use back there, it didn't seem like the two buffoons knew about it since they didn't even glance towards it and the tall young man didn't look like he planned to come back any time soon. As I went along the cliff wall, the same way I had watched him do, it felt as if there were imprints of feet to keep your balance so I easily entered the water falling on to the stone ledge, then the hole in the cliff and to my surprise the inside was lit by torches and warm. It seemed to be a tunnel that lead deep into the ground and had a home like feelto it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this anymore though with how comforting it felt since someone had to be taking care of this place or the torches would have went out long ago. I decided to sit right behind the water and check out what was in the bag I had forgotten was in my hand since earlier with all the excitement going on. I sat with my back on the threshold of the entrance and one foot touching the water slightly since I hadn't gotten my boots back on earlier and still wanted to soak my feet. This bag would be useful even if it was empty to gather foraged items but when I opened it the first thing excited me enough to not care about the rest, it was a wet suit for me to change into and I hadn't seen or heard anyone yet so I decided to take a shower in the falling water and change before looking through the rest of the bag. It felt amazing to be clean of all the crusty blood and dirt, the best part was that there was one spot that had sun light beaming on it hard and it was warmer than the rest of the water so I could warm up and cool down as I pleased. I had to force myself to get out of the water and get dressed but my new wet suit was much more comfortable than a ripped up dress. I washed what was left of the dress and put it in a zipper pocket in the suit for when and if I'd need it for something. As I put my knives back where they went and I got my boots on, I wondered who I was. I mean, I knew most of the details but I was more of wondering who I was in this situation more than anything. I wanted to see what else was in the bag and started back in the pocket the suit had been in where I found gloves with cut off fingers, jeans and a black hoody that was just my size. The next area of the bag had a flask with water in it and some shea butter. I put the hoody on and took a drink of water before opening the last pocket to find a small crossbow and 14 arrows. I was glad I had grabbed that bag, I wasn't sure if it was what the lady had described as a weapon left in the woods or not but it was perfect for me. A little to perfect but that wasn't a bad thing, I guess, unless it was. I decided to venture a bit into the tunnel but not to far just incase it wasn't safe or there was a drop off. As I went down the tunnel I could hear water behind a few doors that I passed and it spooked me so I wasn't investigating long. I hadn't seen anyone in there other than the mystery man but I still wasn't trying to be seen by anyone in my condition and have to fight them to the death if they weren't trying to help people. This whole situation was ridiculous and I wasn't sure if I wanted to start drama or just avoid it at the moment even though for some reason I was extremely sure that I knew what I was doing I wasn't sure if I wanted to be the bad guy. When a man came around the corner covered in mudd and blood I knew it was time to leave. He threw a hatchet at me but missed as I ducked down to grab a few starout of my boot then threw them at his chest, he fell to the ground with a thud and I headed for the entrance after retrieving my stars.. I didn't hear anyone else but I couldn't be sure. I stood by the water for a little while and made sure that no one was out there before I put my back pack on and slid out of the cave, through the falls and back into the woods. My first thought was to follow the cliff as far as I could since I was guessing it was part of the end of where we were allowed to go with the barb wire fence along the top. I could make sure I knew my surroundings this way and I'd know my way back to the waterfall if all else failed. I didn't get far and saw a rattle snake, what luck.... I threw a knife at it and went to fetch my lunch, when I got the knife out of the ground I started looking around for a good spot to have a small fire. It was time to get this snake heated up a bit since I was hungry and would need the energy. I wasn't sure what was going to happen next so food was a good idea and with no sight of anyone around it was a good time to have a quick fire. After my stomach was full I left the leftovers for any animal watching that was hungry, since I could see some glowing eyes watching,, other than the fangs which I had stored in a pouch on the back packs strap. I might end up needing them later but who knows what might happen. I continued on my journey in the direction I had been heading for a while but wasn't sure how long it had been other than the sun had started to go down. After a while, I started to hear something and wasn't sure what it was so I continued to walk towards it. I must have been a ways away from it since it took a long time to be able to hear anything clearly, when I did get close enough the conversation I heard was horrible. "She's worthless, nothing like her mother. I told you we should have killed her in front of her mother and kept her and the younger one instead, I was having fun with them. This one just cries all the time, I can't do anything with her." a gruff voice that sounded gravely whined to another voice. "I don't care to keep any of them and it's your fault that I killed them... you are not to defile my name, ever!! if you touch another one of my slaves I'll slice you in half and leave you for the wolves to eat.... Do you hear me!?" At least someone was defending the weak, maybe I wasn't the only one who didn't care about a prize at the end of this. "Does that mean I can't keep her?" Slash.... I heard a thud and a low shriek from a woman but other than that there was silence. A slam of a door made me jump even though I still couldn't see anything but trees. I guess, maybe I was wrong... "Someone come clean this mess up and move my tent so I don't have to smell his stank, you should all be praising the ground I walk on for taking his miserable self out of this world. Where is the girl he was speaking of?" a girl called over to him but I couldn't hear what she said, where are they?? I decided to walk away from the cliff and it turned out I had been on the other side of a hedge with what looked like a mid evil tent town on the other side. The moment the man started walking I could smell death as I heard him stomping along. "I need the priest to be called so I can save this girls soul before she dies, he defiled her so I'll marry her and make her a woman before she dies. I have extra time with another 36 hours or so. Go.... find me a priest!" Ok, not a friendly.... I'm going to have to help this girl. I could hearing crying coming from a tent and saw that he walked over to it and laughed then wandered off still laughing. I would kill him if I got the chance, mark my words.....
