"Hi Tanch" Everyone's acknowledging Tanch's presence and gave her their smiles as she walked past them. Tanch has an almost perfect life. She has supportive parents that give her almost everything she needs and wants. Closer to the fact that they spoiled her even though she doesn't want to. She has friends, many friends to be exact. She has a very good-looking boyfriend, who's the captain of the basketball team. Everyone err-- maybe almost everyone loves her. She's the student council president and her grades are as beautiful as hers. Tanch is indeed a goddess, a beautiful artwork, a gem.  Everyone will be willing to trade everything they have to be in her position. They were calling her perfect, their ideal girlfriend or friend or whatsoever. But something is missing in her life. Sometimes she gets sad and you'll find her zoning out, just looking into an empty space. Wandering her mind into something she doesn't know either. Are you familiar with that feeling? You're happy and contented but sometimes you just want to trade everything you have, risk everything you own, and lose everyone you love just for something or maybe someone that maybe will make you happier or the happiest person living in this world? It's strange. It's weird. It's something that even the smartest person that's ever been alive will not understand that feeling. "Hey Tanch, Principal Smith is looking for you." Tanch was startled at Aria's voice, one of Tanch's friends, from staring into an empty space again and again. She mouthed thank you and smiled at Aria then walked towards the door to exit their classroom. It's 7:50  in the morning. The classes were starting at exactly 8:00 and end at 4:00 pm. As she walks in the hallway, students who are still outside their respective rooms smiled and greeted her; and as a return, she also smiled at them. When she reached the Principal's office, she gently knocked three times. She turned the knob, pushing the door to open when she heard the words "Come in". "Good morning Principal Smith. Aria said you're looking for me." "Yeah, well here. I would like you to meet Ms. Sarah Jane Riveria." Principal Smith said as he stretched his hand and point to the girl sitting at a black monoblock chair in front of his desk. Tanch whipped her head towards the girl, offering a sweet smile as an impulse. Sarah's lips curved upward as she gave her sweetest smile and stretched her hand to shake Tanch's and greet her. "Hello. I'm Sarah." Tanch lost her system and found herself just staring at the girl with her eyes having a twinkling effect for almost 5 seconds. Her smile fade, not because she saw something that wasn't pleasing to the eyes, but because she saw something that makes her question if what she's seeing is real or she's just dreaming. Sarah has a small face. A brown turning to black eye color. A small nose. A pink and soft fluffy lips. A sweet and bright smile that was almost like blinding Tanch. Her presence made my heart stop beating for a while then rapidly and loudly beat after. Tanch memorizes every feature she has and stores every detail of the girl's face in the deepest and darkest chamber of her mind. She will surely reminisce this moment and think over and over again of her face. Sarah found Tanch creepy as she hesitantly withdrew her hand and just close her fist and place it on her side, rubbing it on her black knee-length skirt. Tanch was backed on her system as Principal Smith called her. Panicking, Tanch immediately raised her hand to shake with hers and speak the longest phrase she can say at this time. "Ah. Hi." Tanch nervously smiled and felt her hand get sweaty due to nervousness. Crap this tingly feeling. This is no good, my hand is all sweaty due to nervousness. I never had a chance to at least wipe those sweats first before I shake her hand. I just embarrassed myself two times in a row. Sarah still gave her sweetest smile to Tanch, not minding Tanch's wet hand. Their eyes locked for a moment and Tanch almost melts at how deep Sarah's eyes are. "Sarah here is a transferee and I want you to assist her on her 1st week here. Her Dad is someone I know so I will be really happy if you could lend her some assistance." I've never been this happy while hearing someone giving me tasks. Sarah withdrew her hand from Tanch's and looked back at the Principal, as well as Tanch. "Ah yes Principal Smith, I would gladly do that." Despite having those weird feelings inside her, Tanch still managed to speak straight and clear. But the excitement and happiness were clearly heard in her voice and seen in her expressions. "I know Ms. Las." Principal Smith shifted her gaze from Tanch to Sarah. "Don't worry Sarah, Tanchellie here is our Student Council President and she's good at everything so if you're having trouble with something, you can ask her to help you." "Thank you, Principal Smith." Her voice is nothing but a very beautiful song that makes you feel you're in heaven. Her voice alone is making me forget about everything and just focus on her heavenly features. Sarah smiled at Principal Smith and looked back at Tanch which didn't fail to send that tingly feeling all over Tanch's body. Principal Smith dismissed them after a few more talks and Tanch- she was never been this nervous being alone with someone. Her whole system completely shut down and what she can only process is how great Sarah smells like. She was being hypnotized by that smell alone and she's not complaining about that. "So ah, Tanchellie right?" Sarah asked as soon as Tanch closed the Principal's door. I like her -- err I mean, I would like her to be my friend. She looks like someone you would love to take care of. She looks so soft, cuddly, kind, and pure. Tanch zoned out again and again for 5 seconds, just staring at Sarah's cute small face. She blinked a few times when she realized Sarah asked her a question. She internally cursed herself for spacing out again and again but she just can't really help it. "Ah no -- I mean yes? W-what's your question again?" What a beautiful reply. Earth, please just eat me alive. Confusion and shyness struck Tanch and question marks flooded her mind. She creased her eyebrows as she looks confused but more embarrassed to Sarah. Sarah found Tanch's answer and expression really weird and at the same time cute so she can't help but giggle. Oh no. I'm sure Sarah thinks that I'm weird because I always zone out when I'm looking at her. Err- It's just that she's so beautiful and I can't help but always lost on her eyes. I mean. Geez. I'm having trouble with my mind. Maybe my brain cells were panicking. Wait -- in what and why? "You're name's Tanchellie, right?" "Ah yeah, Tanchellie. I'm Tanchellie Las but you can just call me Tanch." Tanch scratched her nape, still feeling embarrassed at her recent actions. "Great. It's just that you didn't tell me your name when we shook hands and I just want to make sure that I heard it right. Anyway, nice meeting you here Tanch." Tanch's heart melts the moment Sarah gently rubs the tip of her nose with her curled index finger then winked at her and the way Sarah pronounced her name didn't help her poor heart at all. She's just so cute. My poor heart. Save me. Blood rises to her head and she can feel the tingly feeling she was feeling earlier being stronger. She felt so hot as the blush was slightly becoming visible to her face. "Nice meeting you too Sarah." Tanch like the sound of Sarah's name with her lips. It's so gentle unto her ears. It's a name you would gladly repeat again and again in your mind. While having wet dreams, I guess? "Tanch I'll be bothersome in you for a week. Sorry in advance." Sarah said guiltily while looking away with Tanch and finally, the two started walking towards their respective rooms. Oh no, Sarah. You don't know how grateful I am that you would be 'bothersome'. "It's okay Sarah. I'm more than grateful that I'll assist you for 1 week." Tanch mumbled the last sentence in a very low voice, failing to reach Sarah's ears. "What did you say?" "Oh, i-it's- your schedule. H-Hand me out your schedule so we can check if we have classes together." Sarah bought that alibi and handed her a piece of paper folded into three that she kept in her skirt's pocket. Tanch and Sarah have three classes together. It was Algebra, Literature, and PE. Algebra is in the second period, Literature was the first period after lunch and PE was the last period every Tuesday and Thursday. "Great we have 3 classes together. Algebra, Literature, and PE." "Oh, nice. I'm excited about that." Me too. More than excited to be exact. "Except in Algebra." Sarah jokingly said and Tanch just smiled, not feeling the need to ask the reason. The other classes that they're not together were not difficult for Tanch because their rooms were adjacent to each other. So it's still good. "Thank you so much Tanch." Sarah said as they reached her room. "It's nothing Sarah, actually our rooms are only adjacent to each other. So see you after class?" "Yeah. Bye for now." Sarah waved her hand to Tanch and went inside the classroom. And Tanch, being Tanch, stay there for good 5 seconds until the bell finally rang that signaled for the start of the class and interrupted her from shamelessly staring at Sarah. Why is the clock ticking so slow? Tanch asked her mind as if she will get some answer. She felt like she's sitting in her seat for one whole day already but the fact is it's only 10 minutes that passed. The hell. Tanch was looking back at the wall clock for every 5 seconds that passed, but she didn't realize it. She's excited to see Sarah again. She's excited to hear her voice again. And maybe, be able to touch her again. This class was taking forever. It's not like Tanch doesn't believe in love at first sight, she does. She believes in love at first sight and other stuff about love. It's just that she never expected, she never sees herself to be one of those people who will fall in love the very first time she saw that certain someone. Love sure is wonderful and at the same time dangerous.
