Chapter 2: Forest

The next day

~Luningning~

I closed my eyes and had a dream about the mystery of the previous night, about how the awful creature was slaughtering werewolves without compassion. However, in my dream, the awful creature recognized me and the guy who had accompanied me, and he immediately began racing toward us! I was startled and awoke almost immediately.

My first impression when I opened my eyes was that the birds were singing, a gentle wind was blowing in the atmosphere, and there was a pearly development on the horizon... The rising sun spread a pearly glow over the sky in the early hours of the morning. Golden fingers of sunshine lighted up and filtered gently through the towering trees, ushering in a bustle of activity in the early hours of the morning.

Until I heard the twigs breaking, I was able to maintain a steady and typical breathing pattern.

"Uh! What is that?"

I jumped to my feet and stood on my feet, trying to detect what was approaching.I wondered if it was the dreadful creature or if I should be more positive.Then I dashed away and hid behind one of the large trees, hoping that no one would see me there.

The wind was rustling through the trees, and my heart was racing. I closed my eyes hard so that I wouldn't be able to see anything and folded my fingers with all of my might.

"I'm not going to die yet! I have a burning desire to get revenge for my parents' deaths! I really need to." These were the phrases I kept repeating to myself, and I could hear a foot strike the ground as it got closer to where I was standing.

A chilly frost to my ear, then I decide in my heart that it's time to see my parents since I can't get away from this situation any longer.

"Open your eyes, future king!" The voice rang in my ear and said something.

And I softly open my eyes as I slowly open my eyes. As a result of seeing the guy who assisted me last night, it did not occur to me to go look for him when I awoke.

"You're making me nervous!"

"Greetings, my name is Alarick. As a result of seeing how you sobbed all night, I don't want to wake you up when I see how well you're sleeping this morning, "Alarick remarked, sitting down next to me behind the tree I had hidden.

~Alarick POV~

"Can you tell me who was responsible for the assault on our hut last night?" Luningning stared at me in the eyes with a piercing stare.

In order to keep Luningning from being terrified, I tapped on the ground and asked him to sit by me. Then pick up a little stone in front of me and toss it away, smile at Luningning in order to keep him from becoming scared. Luningning took a seat right where I requested him to.

"Seriously, I'm at a loss for what to say since your parents should have explained everything to you earlier, but it seems that you don't understand anything!" I said to Luningning.

"Can you tell me what it is?" Luningning inquired of me in a kind manner.

"We are both the most significant people among all werewolves."

"Can you explain what you meant by that?" Luningning inquired once again.

I cleared my throat and said that Akeldama Delacruz was the guy who assaulted our cabin and murdered all of the werewolves in the area. The leader of all vampires, he is also the most envious of all werewolves, due to the existence of a lady named Blang Emilio, whom he met some years ago. She is the most powerful of all the werewolves, and she is also the moonlight.

Because Blang scares vampires and they are unable to lay a finger on her or any of us. She is the most powerful werewolf, during the time of Blang Emilio was Akeldama Delacruz's father, Adreana Delacruz, who was in charge of all vampires at the time. And he's a monster who murders without regard to human life.

It happened one night when a werewolf walked into the forest to play, as he often did, but the werewolf never came back. This caused all of the werewolves to panic, and they all set out to find the werewolf, searching every inch of the forest for him. However, the werewolf was nowhere to be seen.

They bring the problem to Blang Emilio's attention since she is the leader of all werewolves at the time, and she asked for everything that belonged to the werewolf so that she may sniff it and discover where the werewolf has gone.

They bring the werewolf knife to Blang, and she sniffed it and traced the scent. She discovered the werewolf is in the layer of vampires. Blang stopped herself from going there because it was surprising to know that werewolf visit the vampires’ layers, but because she didn’t want to go back home and tell the other werewolves that she did not find the missing werewolf.

Blang infiltrated the vampires' layer and slew almost all of the creatures. It was his dead body that Blang found.

They execute the werewolf by hanging him from a tree. In anger, Blang engaged in combat with Adreana Delacruz, ultimately killing her adversary! Before Adreana died, he stabbed Blang in the heart with a magic dagger, but Blang was able to escape with the corpse of the missing werewolf before she passed away.

As a result of this, werewolves and vampires have gotten more enraged with one another. Werewolves, on the other hand, live in peace and may go out whenever they wish. We've gone so far as to visit the city and live among people.

"What is city?" His brows drawn up and horizontal creases forming on his forehead, Luningning's mouth falls open.

"The metropolis has an area that is more civilized than this woodland, with numerous automobiles and lovely residences. I'm certain that if you visit the location, you will never want to return to this forest again." I said to Luningning

"Why aren't we living there instead of in this forest? Is the environment unsafe, or is the location unsafe?"

After he asked this question, I could see Luningning's eyes widen with interest. Then I informed him that we had fled the city because of the horrible vampires who were after us.

"You said the most powerful werewolf in the world, Blang Emilio, is reported to have murdered the leader of the wicked vampires. What caused the terrible vampires to assault the werewolves once more?" Luningning was the one who inquired.

"Because Blang did not slay the son of the vampire's boss, as was expected! As a result, he returns to exact revenge for his father's death." I told Luningning.

"Worst of all! Is this the reason why all of the werewolves have returned to the forest? "

As he asked me the question, I could hear the melancholy in Luningning's tone of voice.

"Yes, we have to retreat to the Tagaytay jungle and take refuge there since Akeldama Delacruz has already begun murdering us in Manila, and there is no one who can help us at this point. We don't have somebody as powerful as Blang Emilio in our midst anymore, despite the fact that he is more powerful than his father, Adreana Delacruz. Even the government of the Philippines in Manila is unable to protect us from him. "

"Why?" Luningning inquired, her gaze fixed on mine.

"It's because no one believes in the existence of vampires and werewolves."

"To be more powerful than his father implies that he is an authoritarian dictator. However, I overheard my parents stating, I shall defeat this evil creature, could he be the one, Alarick?"

I nod, "Yes, Luningning, that is why you must survive in order to kill him; don't worry, I will be the one to teach you since I am certain that Akeldama Delacruz will not be misled into believing that you perished in the fire."
