Chapter 2:father is dead

A bikini-clad beauty ascended the platform, bearing a golden tray piled high with cash, approximately a million. Her efforts were visibly strained as she lifted it. General Wu, the bald-headed man, received the golden tray and handed it to Song Yunian, saying, "Congratulations! The King of Combat!" Accepting the tray, Song Yunian smiled and replied, "Thank you, General Wu! Thanks to everyone's support!" General Wu chuckled, "Let's take a picture together, facing the camera!" He gestured towards a photographer. Gradually, Wang Qiang's supporters dispersed, while the bespectacled magnate climbed into a roaring Ferrari and drove off. Song Yunian's supporters began to celebrate his victory with champagne. General Wu ordered the bikini-clad women to attend diligently to the King of Combat, Song Yunian. Surrounded by the women, Song Yunian indulged in drink after drink. Suddenly, someone shouted at the entrance, "The police are here! Run!" Upon hearing this, the crowd scattered in panic. General Wu hastily jumped into a Land Rover and swiftly departed. Song Yunian, without a car, grabbed the suitcase containing the million-dollar winnings and began to flee. Seven or eight police officers pursued him. Exhausted from the match, nursing injuries, and having imbibed copious amounts of alcohol, Song Yunian struggled to run while carrying the heavy suitcase. Eventually, Song Yunian and four bikini-clad women were apprehended. The police interrogated Song Yunian, asking, "Who organized the illegal combat event?" Reluctant to betray General Wu, Song Yunian remained silent. A blonde bikini-clad woman spoke up, "Officer! I know!" "Speak up!" "It's Mr. Huang from XX Company! He's the one who paid us to serve tea. We're all innocent!" The police asked Song Yunian, "What do you do? Why do you have injuries on your face? Are you a participant in the combat?" Song Yunian pondered for a moment before responding, "I didn't know this was an illegal match. They told me it was legitimate, so I signed up to participate!" Another stout police officer pointed to Song Yunian's suitcase and asked, "What's inside? Open it and let's see!" "This is my luggage!" "Quickly open it for inspection!" The officer attempted to grab the suitcase, and although Song Yunian tried to resist, he was quickly subdued by the other officers. The stout officer opened the suitcase, revealing bundles of cash. He smirked at Song Yunian and said, "Still want to argue? Didn't you claim this was your luggage? What's the story behind this money?" Despite having imbibed some alcohol, Song Yunian's mind was sharp. He said, "Oh! I understand now! This isn't my suitcase; I picked up the wrong one. When they were fleeing, they took mine! I have no idea about this money! I'm just a boxing enthusiast, recently graduated! There are photos of my graduation ceremony on my phone; you can check!" The police opened Song Yunian's phone and indeed found many graduation gown photos. They said, "Alright, since none of you are the organizers, you can all leave! But don't participate in such illegal activities again!" The women chuckled, "Thank you, officers! We're leaving!" Song Yunian turned to leave, but he couldn't bear to see his hard-earned million slip away like this. He turned back to look at his suitcase. The stout officer snapped, "What are you looking at? All illegal cash confiscated! If you don't leave now, you'll come with me to the station!" Feeling helpless, Song Yunian sadly left the underground garage. Not only was he skilled in boxing, but he was also very clever. If it weren't for being so tired and having drunk alcohol tonight, he would have noticed something was amiss earlier. Three hundred meters away from the garage exit, Song Yunian realized that something was wrong with the "police" who just let them go. The normal procedure would have been to take them to the station for questioning or at least detain them, but they just released him and confiscated the money. He hurried back to the underground garage, hoping to reclaim his winnings, but the "police" had already vanished. Song Yunian suspected that General Wu or Mr. Huang had sent people disguised as police to cheat him out of his winnings. He angrily called General Wu, but the line was busy. Song Yunian became even more suspicious of General Wu; this man appeared friendly on the outside but harbored malice within. He decided to go to General Wu's house immediately to demand justice. Suddenly, he received a call from his adoptive father. His adoptive father was crying as he said, "Xiao Ao, come home quickly! Your father is in critical condition! He wants to see you one last time!" Startled, Song Yunian asked, "Adoptive father! What happened to my father? What's going on?"
