PROLOGUE

"Kabir, Where are you?" she exclaimed on the call with Kabir while standing outside the metro station, waiting for him to come and pick her up.
"I'll be just there within two minutes babe." his deep voice echoed in her ears even after ending the call.
Kaya took small steps outside the station in anticipation while waiting for him. She was looking for his black Audi on the road, ignoring all the other vehicles on the road. She was lost thinking about him while her phone rang, it was him. Without wasting a single second, she answered his call, sighing, "Where are you Kabir, 15 minutes ago, you were getting mad at me for being late, now where the hell are you?"
He was watching her from his grey SUV and chuckled at her outburst. "I am at the right side of my angry bird, now please stop shouting and come to me."
Without uttering a word. she looked at her right side and found a grey SUV, on peeping inside the car, she saw Kabir already staring at her with his signature smirk on his handsome face.

He pulled her in his embrace before they even entered the apartment. She giggled quietly and reciprocated with his moves. He sniffed her floral fragrance from her neck, whispering, "How did you decide that we should do it?"
"I don't know, I just feel good with you, comfy, and you much better than most of the stupid dudes," she murmured, as she was lost in his strong cologne.
"Do you feel protected with me?" he questioned looking at her hopefully.
"Yes baby, isn't it strange, that I feel protected with a GANGSTER?" she giggled emphasizing the word, gangster.
"Hey, I'm not a gangster!" he pouted.
"Yeah, you are 50% of a gangster." she tried to reason herself.
"I just belong to the family of mafias, I just know their every secret, I just accompany with their dealings with the police and courts, that's it. I AM NOT A GANGSTER!" he never liked the idea of being a mafia.
But Kaya always had a crush on mafias, gangsters, she somehow found his annoyance towards the mafia world really cute.
