"You want to eat right? Not only do I have candy, but I also have hamburgers. I'll let you eat them!" Alan Jones threw the hamburgers and candy on the ground, then trampled them into the dust. "Come on! I'll be gracious and let you both eat the candy and hamburgers on the ground!" Lily Jones's eyes were about to burst, her heart ached to the point where she couldn't breathe. This was her own uncle! How could he be so cruel and heartless? What should they do now? Should they eat or not? If her daughter doesn't eat anything, she will die! Lily Jones felt ashamed and angry. She could die, but her daughter's life hadn't even begun yet, she couldn't die! "Mom! No! We won't eat the bad guy's food, even if we starve to death." Linda held Lily Jones's hand, not allowing her to pick up the already dirty bread and candy from the ground. "Little b*tch, you still have some backbone. Let's see if your backbone is strong, or if my slap is strong!" Alan Jones raised his hand and slapped Linda, instantly leaving her with a swollen and bruised face. "Uncle, you are truly insane. How could you hit my child!" Lily Jones quickly hid Linda behind her. "Not only do I want to hit this wild seed, but I also want to hit you, you f*cking b*tch. It's all for you, this stinky woman, that our Jones family has ended up like this." Alan Jones gritted his teeth and waved his hand. "Enough, They are still useful to us. If they are really hurt, they will be worthless!" A group of people appeared at the entrance of the basement. "Lily Jones, you and your daughter are aware of your sins!" Elder Mrs. Jones said coldly, leaning on her cane. "Grandma! I beg you, Linda is only six years old. Her life hasn't even started yet. Don't take her heart away. Please, spare her!" Lily Jones kneeled on the ground and kept kowtowing. "Ridiculous! This b*tch shouldn't exist in the first place. She is an insult to our Jones family. One heart can save the life of another prominent family's child, helping the Jones family gain favor with a truly important figure. She is being used as a waste." Elder Mrs. Jones's eyes were extremely cold. "No! Grandma! This is not right! Why should my daughter's heart be taken if a child of a prominent family is sick? It's not fair. I won't allow you to harm Linda. I absolutely won't allow you to harm my Linda!" Lily Jones's eyes flashed with determination. "B*tch, there are laws in this country, and rules within the family. You stole someone else's child, tarnishing social norms, and yet you have the audacity to beg for mercy here. Take this little wild seed away!" Alan Jones ordered with a grim look. "Don't come near us! Whoever dares to harm my daughter, I will fight them to the death! Even if it means I die with my daughter, I will never let those b*stards get away with it!" Lily Jones took out a dagger from her pocket. She had hidden it a long time ago, waiting for this moment. "B*tch, when did you hide that dagger?" The members of the Jones family frowned. If Linda died, the heart would be of no use. "Enough! B*tch, we can spare your daughter, but you must marry into the prominent Bunbury family immediately and secure a 50 million investment agreement. Either take her heart or marry, choose yourself!" Elder Mrs. Jones smirked. "Mom! You can't get married! Linda isn't afraid of death. I will trade my heart for your freedom. Linda thinks it's worth it. You still have to wait for Dad to come back!" "Mom! After I die, bury me under the acacia tree at the doorstep. You said Dad loved acacia flowers the most. You said Dad would definitely come back when the acacia tree blooms again." "Mom! The acacia tree will absorb nutrients from my blood and will surely bloom soon. Dad will come back quickly. It's okay if I'm not here. You can have another Linda. What if Dad comes back when you get married?" Linda's innocent voice, filled with madness, pierced Lily Jones's heart. Even though there were no tears, drops of bloody tears flowed out at this moment. The Jones family watched all of this coldly, as if this mother and daughter were just livestock for trade. "Linda! Mom didn't tell you, but your dad actually died. He died six years ago. He was sent to a foreign battlefield and could never come back alive. As long as Mom gets married, you can still survive. We can still see each other in the future. You have to be obedient." Lily Jones let go of Linda and stood up. She didn't know if that damn man had died or not. There had been no news for six years, so he should be dead! The father she had longed for countless days and nights had already died. Linda was completely stunned, and she burst into tears, devastated by grief. "B*tch, you're right. I'll tell you the truth. When that b*ast was sent away, someone tampered with it and killed him halfway. So for these past six years, you've been waiting in vain." Lily Jones gnashed her teeth and glared, overflowing with hatred. "If he's dead, he's dead! Six years without any news, I've already considered him dead." "I can go with you, but you must promise not to harm Linda. Otherwise, I will turn the wedding scene into a funeral scene right away!" Lily Jones hid the dagger in her pocket. "No problem! I guarantees it! As long as you obediently get married and obtain the 30 million contract agreement, both of you will be safe." Elder Mrs. Jones chuckled, thinking that threatening them with a dagger was simply a delusion. "Don't force Mommy to get married. I'll listen to you. Let go of Mommy! waaaaa " "Linda... wait for Mommy to come back..." Lily Jones's heart turned to ashes, her smile carrying a firm determination. After taking one last look at her daughter, she left without turning back." Mom... waaaaa " "You are all bad people! Dad, where are you! Are you really dead? Mom was taken away by them, what should Linda do!" After the Jones family left, only one servant remained in the basement, glaring at Linda with a fierce look. "You little b*stard, why are you crying? Let me tell you the truth! Even if your mother obediently married someone, your heart will still be taken out and given to someone else. So, cherish the last moments of your life!" "You are bad people! I'll bite you to death!" Linda cried loudly, and bit the back of the servant's hand, causing blood to flow instantly. "You wild brat, how dare you bite me! I'll beat you to death!" The servant, furious and embarrassed, raised his hand to strike. Suddenly, the basement door shattered into pieces. Bob Smith rushed in with a murderous aura, The Jones family servant hadn't even reacted yet. He was slapped away by Bob Smith, screaming in pain as he crashed into a row of shelves, immediately spewing blood from his mouth and nose. "Who are you? How dare you hit me?" The Jones family servant took a while to climb up from the ground, glaring fiercely at the murderous Bob Smith. "You deserve to be beaten for harming a child!" Bob Smith was furious, his murderous intent soaring. "A b*stard who is about to have his heart taken out can't even enter the Jones family genealogy. What can't I hit? Besides, Lily Jones is getting married to the head of the Bunbury family, we don't need this wild brat. What can't I hit? I advise you, you b*stard, not to meddle in this, otherwise the Jones family won't spare you." Bob Smith's heart trembled. Lily Jones was actually getting married to someone else, and she didn't even care about her daughter's life or death? He found it hard to believe. These six years! He had been full of regret and self-blame. He swore to make up for Lily Jones when he came out, but now she was going to marry someone else. Bob Smith seethed with hidden resentment, clenched his fist, and turned to look at Linda."
