1. The Arena

Freya pov "Wake up, you b***h! The alpha is looking for you!" Before I could respond, a whole bucket of cold water hit my face. "F**k you, Tommy! One day I'll get out of here, and you'll be the first I'll kill then." "Keep dreaming, b***h! But for now, get dressed; alpha has found a new opponent for you!" I got up when he left and grabbed my black leather pants and bra set. After getting dressed, I put on my combat boots and brush my hair, making a nice ponytail. I always have my hair in a ponytail when I fight. And I've been fighting for thirteen years now. I never lost. I get out of my tent and head to The Arena. Yes, I live in a tent, without a bed or hot water. But I'm used to this. I've been living here since I can remember. The Arena was an arena. It was owned by the alpha rogue, Samuel. He picks up rogues to fight to the death for his fun. But sometimes, he captures pack members from neighbouring packs and put their fight with me. Those have a choice. Submitted to him, they can be part of his "pack" or die in The Arena. The gates opened, and I met my opponent. He is a tall guy, well built with blue eyes and brown hair. I always look into their eyes. "Finally! Freya! I was about to die of boredom. Now, you know the rules. Make him submit or kill him!" I glance at alpha Samuel, wishing I could kill him one day. But I quickly brushed that thought away and nodded my head. I get in a defensive position. The guy in front of me starts laughing. "Are you serious right now? Do you think this little girl can defeat me?" "Hey!! Who do you call little girl, old man?" If there's something that annoys me, it is to be called 'little girl '. "Come on! If you are so sure you can beat me, go ahead; I'm specific alpha Samuel will let you go if you succeed. Won't you, alpha?" Alpha's eyes were widening a bit. But he nodded anyway. The man starts running towards me. And I tried to observe him. He was fast, that's for sure. But being so tall made him a bit clumsy. He swung his fist, trying to hit me in the jaw, but I got down and hit his knee with my fist so hard that I heard his bones crack. He fell to the ground with a thud, yelling in annoyance. "You little b***h!" "Oh, come on, old man! Get up! You said you'll go to kill me? Didn't you?" Getting up on one leg, as he couldn't step in the other one, he started walking my way. His knee was swollen, so he stopped for a bit, looking at me. I smirk at him and put my hands on my knees. His eyebrows furrowed, and he started jumping in one leg towards me. At least he's not a coward. When he swung his fists again, I met them with mine. Fist against fist. His fingers broke while my knuckles were just red and swallowed. I've been training so hard for so long that I almost can't feel the pain. I did a round kick, hitting him in his head, hard enough to send him flat on the ground, but not to make him lose his consciousness. I lean over him with a smile on my face, and he flinches a bit. "Do you submit?" He didn't answer, so I got closer. I knew Samuel was not a patient man, so he would ask me to kill this poor man in the next thirty seconds. "I recommend you to submit if you wanna leave, old man! I don't want to kill you, but alpha does, and I don't have a choice." His eyes widened in realisation. He now knew I was held here by force, only executing orders. "Did he submit? If not, kill..." "He did!" I said, extending my hand to the man. He looked at me hesitantly before accepting it. "Good! Welcome to my pack! What's your name, boy?" The man looked at me, and I nodded. "Jack! I'm Jack Sm..." "Jack is enough! We don't have surnames here, Jack!" He then turned to me. "Freya! Take him with you and show him to an empty tent! I'll see you later for another fight." I sigh. This is my life. I fight day and night, hoping to win my freedom someday. We walked in silence back to the campus. The only empty tents were the ones next to me. Everyone feared me here. So I had no friends. "Here! Go and clean your wounds and get some rest! I need to get ready for the next fight!" "Thank you, Freya! Will I see you later?" I was surprised that someone wanted to see me again, so I looked at him for a few moments without responding. "Mmm yeah dickhead! My tent is next to yours," I say and leave. I went back to my tent, taking my clothes off. I start cleaning myself with a damp cloth, thinking about what Samuel said. 'We have no surnames here...' Oh..but I do. I know I wasn't born here. An older man told me that. The man that found me eighteen years ago in the forest.Alone, with only one piece of paper next to me.'Freya Wolfe'. That's all it was written on it. I look at my reflection in the broken mirror I have, brushing my black hair. My eyes were dark brown, almost black, and I could see all the pain in them. I have slightly tan skin and an athletic body showing clearly that I'm a fighter. 'I'm Freya Wolfe! I'm eighteen years old, and I'll get out of here! I'll be free!' This is what I always said to myself. Afraid that one day I will forget who I am or what I want. "B***h, are you ready? The fight will start in ten! So you better won't be late, or I'll need to give you a lesson again!" Tommy's annoying voice came from outside the tent. "Just because I can't kick your ass now doesn't mean it will always be like that. When alpha Samuel gets sick of you, I'll be waiting for you, Thomas!"
