GAEL'S POV “Oh, you looking good son.You know I rarely see you dress like that what's the occasion?“ My mom asked as I walked to the dining room “ The way you are dressed, it's like you're going for your wedding without even telling me” She added before I could answer. I was all dressed in the suit and since I normally dressed casually, she knew I was definitely heading somewhere. I walked towards her and gave her a peck on the cheek. “Come on Mom, I haven't found my mate yet and that thing about me marrying how without your knowledge. I can never do that to you beautiful because you are the most important person I have” I replied I had become an Alpha of this park since my dad died 2 years ago. I was an only child and when my dad was no more, it was just me and my mom and she relied on me and Dad had asked me to take good care of her if one day he wasn't around. “I knew I raised you right son and I was just joking you can never do something like that to me.Now sit down and have breakfast with me” she said smiling at me after I sat down she piled food on my plate and I started to dig in “So tell me, where are you going this early morning?”she asked me “I'm heading to town now. You remember the other land I told you about, the owner has called me. He wants me to check it out”I replied My mom looked at me for some time before she said “You are really your father's child.Hard working, caring, handsome. I'm really so proud of you.You have made development for our Park within just two years that you have been an Alpha and I believe he is also proud of you” “Thank you Mom” I simply said When breakfast was done, I said goodbye to my mom and I left her to carry on with the pack duties since I hadn't found my mate. She was still the acting Luna.She was a strong woman and she would never let the members see her weakness something I loved and learned from her. I let my Beta Jacob know that I was going out so that he could watch all the Pack activities while I was away. He was my number two and whenever I wasn't around, he would be the acting Alpha. I then drove to California to meet Michael Miller the guy that wanted to sell me the piece of land.As soon as I reached, he was happy to see me and he laid me to where the land was which was a 20 minutes drive from his place. The piece of land was big but there was a flat building that seemed like a club and since it was during day, it wasn't busy I saw a few people walking in. “Don't you worry about this Mr Frost, I asked the tenant to vacate the place as soon as possible”Mr.Miller assured me and I could only nod my head in understanding. I then took a look at the rest of the area and it was good. The location and everything would be suitable for my business.I told Mr Miller that I loved the land but I agreed to pay within two days. That's when the tenants would be gone cause I wanted to start construction as soon as possible but I didn't want anything to do with the tenants and left Mr Miller to deal with them.The sooner they move out, the sooner he gets his payment. I then went home and continued with the pack activities.At the end of the day when everything was done, I went to bed but before I could sleep. My phone rang. “Hello” I said “If I were you I would leave that piece of land alone and go find somewhere else” came the Voice. where the hell was this. “ Who are you and why the hell would I do that?”I asked “ If you want answers to all those questions then come find me at the club where you want to buy”He replied and hang up. I immediately got up and informed my beta Jacob about it.He then decided to come with me and we went to the club. I really wanted to know everything about the piece of land before I paid it. When we reached the place, I called the guy and he asked us to wait for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, two guys came saying their boss has asked for us. They looked to be bouncers of club. They asked us to follow them and led us inside the place. The place was boozing with activities those drinking, dancing, flirting with women, smoking and everything that goes on in clubs. We then headed upstairs and the loud noises seemed to disappear. The guy then stopped at one of the doors and knocked A lady came and opened the door. she looked to be around 23years.Her dark hair was tied into a neat ponytail she was wearing all black. “You can now leave, thank you”.The lady said looking at the bouncers and they turned to leave. she then turned back to us and smiled. “Gentlemen, can you please come in the boss is ready to see you”She said moving aside for us to enter. She then walked and stood on the right side of the guy that was seated in the chair sipping his beer like a well trained body guard. We entered and they offered us seats and drinks but we weren't there for that so we went straight to the point. “So Mr, can you please tell me what you meant while ago on the phone?”I asked immediately. “First of all Mr Frost, my name is Robert Thompson”He said “Mr Thompson, I believe you are the tenant Mr Jacob was talking about. He said you had two days to leave this place but I I don't understand why you would ask me to leave the land yet I talked to the owner”I said “Well mister Frost, this Land Is Mine and I'm not going anywhere and if I were you.I was just going to look for another place”he said “I would only do that if you show me anything that says that this piece of land is yours” I told him. I knew perfectly well that this piece of land belong to Mr Michael Miller even before I had an idea purchasing it.So I didn't quite understand what this guy was talking about. When I said those words, his face changed. He got angry and he put his glass of wine with a bang on the table. “Mr Frost, you won't like it when I get mad.I have been on this piece of land for 10 years and after developing the place, Michael wants to chase me Away. That won't happen and let me tell you this, you are not the first person with an idea of purchasing this piece of land but when I talked to those people, they listened and never purchased the land I suggest you do the same because you do not want to see the Monster I become”He threatened This guy was really something. If he really expected me to do what he wants because of his threats, well he was solely mistaken. He too didn't want to see the Monster I could become. I stood up and leaned closer to this crazy man and the lady immediately came closer trying to protect his boss but I didn't have her time or energy to hit her boss. “Well sorry to disappoint you Mr Thompson.I'm going to be a different case from those people you asked not to purchase the land. I want the piece of land and I'm going to purchase it whether you like it or not” I said and immediately turned to leave. “Well, young man. I'm willing to die for this piece of of land and don't say I didn't warn you” Came his threats as we reached the door. I turned and looked at him with a smile “We will see about that Mr.Thompson” We got out and shut the door behind us. I had bottles and glasses shutter in the room where we had been. “What's with that guy?”Jacob asked as soon as we were in the car. “What I have seen, he doesn't want to give up the land and he proudly threatens any potential buyers but I won't be one of those”
