Xander

I walk to dad’s office and see dad at his desk busy in a mind link discussion, Beta Joey and Gamma Sean standing near the dad’s desk while our head warrior Anthony and a few other warriors are standing a little away from the desk with a furious look on their face.

Dad finishes his conversation and immediately looks at all of us with a worried expression.

Alpha Ross: I just got of the mind link with a council member and he says that the blood moon pack (the current largest pack in the world) was also attacked at the same time as us however, they said it was not just rogues but also a couple of hunters who are working with them to destroy the werewolf kingdom.

Beta Joey: Hunters?

Alpha Ross: Yes … Hunters ..and they killed around 100 warriors with silver bullets.

Head Warrior Anthony:  Alpha I think we should not waste any more time in increasing the borders security, we may also need to recruit more warriors starting tomorrow.

Xander: Alpha (I only call dad Alpha when he it is a serious discussion), I think we need to create an under ground passage too which will help to move the women, children and elders who cannot fight to security. I know we have a secret basement made for such a situation but if we need them to evacuate their houses they cannot be running in the open to the secret basement that will be more dangerous.

Gamma Sean: I agree with the young Alpha, we should increase our internal security too.

As we continue speaking Mom (Nadia) and Beta Joey’s wife Aunt Izzy walk in.

Luna Nadia: Ross also we should stock up food, water, medicines and other essentials incase there is a War coming our way. However we cannot create panic in the pack so while all of us keep our eyes and ears open to any threats we need to ensure that daily activities are not affected else it will only create fear and panic which will make us vulnerable as a pack.

Everyone present in the room nodded in agreement and planned the way ahead keeping whatever Luna spoke as top priority

I was so amazed at this woman standing in front of me, when everyone was almost reaching panic mode she spoke with calmness in her tone. At that moment I could not help but think what my Luna would be like. Would she be able to not only calm me but also the entire pack in times of stress and worry.
