Alex pulled me towards his car, then he drove to the pack house that was in full swing. I noticed my brother’s eyes glaze over before he got out and opened the door for me. He helped me out and we walked to the pack house. He opened the door and I walked in.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” a whole bunch of people said making me jump, before placing a hand on my chest with a huge smile on my face. I waved shyly at everyone before they turned back to the party.

“Did you do this?” I asked Alex.

“It was mom and dad’s idea” Alex said pulling me towards the bar.

“Four shots” Alex said. Four shots were placed in front of us.

“To you my dear sister. Every minute with you is a blessing. I thank the goddess for putting you in mom’s path and giving me such a wonderful sister. I love you and happy birthday” Alex said making me look at him with wide eyes. He has never said such beautiful things to me.

“I’m glad the goddess put mom in my path too. I’m blessed to have such wonderful parents and an amazing big brother. I love you too” I said grabbing a shot before tossing it back. I noticed Alex’s eyes go behind me and I looked to see Stacy, an Omega who will be eighteen in a couple of days. Alex has had a crush on her for the longest. I gestured the bartender for another shot before grabbing Stacy by her wrist. She turns to me and smiles widely.

“Happy birthday Aksana” she smiles.

“Thank you. Will you do a shot with us?” I asked and she bit her bottom lip.

“I have homework to do. I just came by to wish you a happy birthday” she said.

“Thank you, but it’s just one shot. It’s my birthday and don’t worry, Alex will take care of you” I said and her eyes go to Alex who was blushing. I swallowed my laughter since the only time I see Alex blush is when he’s around Stacy.

“Okay” she said and took a shot.

“To Aksana, may the Goddess bless you in many different ways. Thank you for being a wonderful friend to me even though I’m an Omega” she says.

“You better than anyone know that I don’t care about ranks. Plus without Omegas this pack wouldn’t be able to function. Plus you’re the one who befriended me even though I have no wolf” I lied on the last part about not having a wolf.

“What’s not to like? You’re amazing and see the best in people. Happy birthday” she says and the three of us downed our shot. We call for twelve more each taking four before going to the dance floor. I dance with my brother and his crush for about fifteen minutes when I started feeling the effects of the shots and I realized those weren’t regular shots but a Whiskey that’s made by wolves.

“Are you okay?” Alex asks.

“I’m fine, just hot” I said.

“It’s the whiskey: Alex said and I nodded.

“I’m going to grab some water. Have fun dancing with your crush” I winked at my brother.

“Keep your phone close” he said and I nodded. I walked to the bar and asked for two more shots and a bottle of water. After downing the two shots I began to drink the water when my wolf began to pace and the scent of freshly baked cookies filled my nose. I discreetly sniffed the air when I felt a strong hand grab my wrist. I jumped at the sparks before I was pulled up the stairs. I was a bit in a daze as everything blurred by, but soon after I was pulled into a room and the mysterious man turned around. It was none other than Cory Spears, the soon to be Alpha of the Mountain Valley Pack.

Before I could say anything he pushed me against the wall and kissed me. It’s not uncommon for wolves to mate and claim each other on the first night. His hands run up my sides, past my ribs, and stop at my breast. Cory gently runs the tips of his fingers on the top of my exposed breast before he began to pull down my zipper. He left my lips and kissed along my jaw as he undid the zipper completely and the dress fell to the floor. Cory pulled back and his eyes were glowing letting me know his wolf was present.

“Are you accepting me as your mate?” I asked huskily. My voice full of lust for my mate.

“We’ll talk about it later. Right now I want to devour you” he growled before looking at me up and down again.

“Beautiful” he growled before kissing me again. He pulled me towards the bed and laid me on it before taking off my boots and climbing on top of me. Everything went by in a blur. I felt pain for a few minutes before the pain went away. I was close to my release when I heard Cory growl. He had reached his release, shooting loads and loads of c*m inside. Suddenly, he’s off of me before I even reached my c****x and was getting dressed.

“What’s going on?” I asked him.

“I have to get back. Do NOT tell anyone of what just happened” he said and I could hear the command in his voice. Too bad that the command doesn’t work on me. Before I could say anything he was out of the room.

‘Did he just use me and left me?’ I asked myself and my wolf whimpers. I look out the window feeling like s**t and realized the full moon it’s almost at it’s highest. I grab my underwear and dress and go to the bathroom. I quickly shower before getting dressed. I put on my boots and rush out the room only to run into my brother and Cory. My brother sniffs me and his eyebrows furrow.

“Why do you smell like Cory?” Alex growls. I look at Cory before looking back at my brother.

“He let me use his bathroom since the other rooms were… full” I lied and I felt like s**t lying to my brother. Once I find out how things are going to go with Cory, I will tell my brother the truth. Alex looks at Cory who nods.

“She said she had to pee, so I told her to use my bathroom” he says and Alex nods.

‘We need to go’ I linked my brother. Somehow, I’m able to create a link between my parents, brother, and me without others knowing.

‘Okay’ he links back.

“Where is Stacy?” I asked Alex.

“I took her home” Alex said.

“Okay, I’m going to go home. I’m tired” I lied.

“Okay, I’ll drive you home” Alex said before turning to his Alpha.

“I’ll see you in the morning man” Alex said before doing their handshake. Alex and I walk out of the pack house and into his car. I hold back a wince when I sit down. I hadn’t noticed the pain between my legs before, but now that the effect of the alcohol has worn off, I feel it.

“We’re going to go to the house. Quickly change and meet me in the backyard. Mom and dad are waiting for us at our special place” Alex said. I nod and as soon as he pulls up to the house we both rush inside and change. I take off my necklace and change to some shorts and a t shirt before rushing downstairs.

‘It’s almost time’ Moon says. I get to the backyard and Alex is in his wolf form. Since I can’t shift into my wolf form I get on Alex’s wolf holding on tight and he takes off. A groan leaves my lips as a forced shift is starting to take over.

‘What’s wrong?’ Alex links me.

‘I’m shifting’ I groaned through the link.

‘Hold on a bit longer. We’re almost there’ Alex links me. My claws and canines begin to elongate as a growl leaves my lips. I try to hold back the shift, but I can’t.

‘We’re here baby girl’ I hear Alex say and soon I find myself on the floor as I let the shift take over.
