Chapter 2

I fell on the couch next to Leah. "Hey." She greeted lazily. I raised my eyebrows at the two huge bins of ice cream sitting on the coffee table. "How was your day? Mine was awful. I had to stand in this long ass line for 30 minutes just to get some f*****g coffee for my boss and when it was finally my turn they said they were making a new set. So then I had to wait another f*****g 20 minutes. What coffee takes 20 minutes? When I finally got it, I went back to the office only for my boss to give me a call after 15 minutes of looking for him that he went home. And guess what? He made me drive to his house to give it to him! The nerve of this b***h I tell you." She ranted out. "One day I'm gonna quit and tell him to kiss my ass." She shoved a spoon full of ice cream. "You done?" I patted her knee sympathetically. She sighed dramatically and nodded. "Anyways, how was your day? Get any d**k? You seem happy." "I got a job, I think." "You think?" I explained the situation to her only to earn a laugh in return. "Are you going to go all out and wear a maid's outfit? Oh no no wait - they come home and you're just waiting on your knees," She cleared her throat, "'welcome home master'" She attempted to mimic my voice before wheezing. "Please do it, just once, for me." I couldn't help but laugh after I pushed her. "You watch too much anime." "I have to! Anime boys are so much better." She waved her spoon at me. "Who are they anyways?" "The steele twins. I've only vaguely heard their company name before." She choked on her ice cream. "You serious?" "Positive, why?" "I tried to get an interview there last year and it's so f*****g hard. They have too high standards in my opinion," She waved her own thoughts off, "but the CEO's. They're like s*x on legs, Rosie." "I have to move in with them, if I agree to everything." She shook my shoulders. "You b***h! That's supposed to be me! You can have my ass of a boss. I think I'll spit in his coffee next time." She added as an afterthought. I laughed as she pouted. "You sleeping over tonight?" "Sure, just let me go get my bag in my ca-" I felt my phone start vibrating in my pocket. Leah gestured to answer. "Hello?" "Rosalina! It's Glenda, sorry to call so soon. I know we agreed on Monday but would you mind running over and making the boys a quick dinner? I would but my husband seems to want me all to himself." "Of course, could you just give me the address please." I asked professionally. She thanked me profusely and texted the address as soon as she hung up. I raised my eyebrows at Leah when she gave me a look. "Technically you're not officially hired yet. If they wanna bend you over-" "Goodbye Leah." I sang while walking to the door, ignoring her previous comment. She made lewd gestures the whole time. - When I pulled up to their address, I couldn't help but gawk slightly. All this money and they couldn't hire an actual maid? Glenda had assured me they wouldn't be home for a few more hours so I hadn't bothered changing much. I just casually threw a sweatshirt over everything. After typing in their home passcode, I instantly found the kitchen to get started on their dinner. It was nothing big, as I wasn't familiar with their house and what I was able to use but it was eatable. I'd been softly humming to myself when I'd finished everything and was picking up after myself. My back went rigid when I heard the front door open. I unfroze when footsteps neared and looked around frantically. Oh god, this is not how I wanted to first meet them. I internally cursed myself for not changing and attempted to tug my shorts down. My breath hitched when I finally did see them. Oh no, Leah was right. I quickly held my hands up in surrender. "Hi- um, before you call the cops or something, I swear your mom hired me for this..." I trailed off quietly when they just stared at me. My stomach flipped, but it didn't feel like nerves. "I'm Rosalina. Did Glenda tell you about me?" I shifted around awkwardly. The one on the right seemed to finally break himself out of whatever trance they were in. "Adrian." He glanced to his brother and clasped a hand on his shoulder when he realized he wasn't going to speak for himself. "This is Angelo." Angelo abruptly turned so his side was facing me and covered his nose with his hand. I spluttered. "Sorry! I made dinner but it might smell off..." I trailed off again. "No," He seemed to swallow before removing his hand, "it's not that. You're-" He cut himself off. "She did mention something about a Rosalina. We just didn't expect you today." They both turned towards each other and seemed to have a silent exchange. Liam finally turned towards me. My breath hitched. I could've sworn his eyes were just green. "We appreciate it, Rosalina. Thank you."
