I Will See You In Hell: Toxic

Chapter One

“Miss Cameron, I've done the presentation for Monday's meeting and I already sent to your e-mail."

Kristal smiled back to her reliable assistant secretary. "Thanks Jane, you can go home now."

"Don't overdo yourself Miss, enjoy your weekend. I’ll take my leave." the young lady said before leaving her office.

Kristal stood up and prepared herself to leave the company. It's been a long week for her, as the head manager of a well-known advertising company, she did a lot of strategies and meetings these past few days just to meet the expectation of her clients. And doing business with well-known companies had never been easy.

It was past five in the afternoon, and most of the employees went home while others stayed to meet their deadlines. From the 10th floor, Kristal went straight to the underground parking. She wanted to go home as soon as possible and soak herself into a warm bath. It will be good start for her weekend.

She drove her not so expensive sedan and left the company's premises. While driving she noticed the Mercedes-Benz GLE in front of her. 'Nice car', she thought. The owner of this vehicle must be rich to afford this kind of SUV. She's not that crazy about cars but she knew a few people who loves a good and expensive vehicles.

She was about to reached the next intersection when the SUV suddenly stopped that made her step on her brake pedal as well. A black van blocked the way and six men in mask with firearms came out. Two men in black suits came out from the SUV as well and started to fire back for defense. She knew how bad the situation was and she has to do something. The two men in suits were shot and fell down instantly.

One of the masked guys dragged a woman and a boy out of the SUV. Kristal moved quickly, she took something under her seat and came out from her car. She needed to secure the woman and child’s safety first. She analyzed the situation without attracting any attention.

 "Please don't hurt us. We will give you anything just let us go." the woman pleaded.

"Shut up!" One of the masked men said before he slapped the woman across the face. Kristal knew how strong the slap was because the woman fainted instantly while blood was flowing from her mouth.

She glared at the man who slap the woman. What she hated the most were men who hurt women without thinking twice.

"Leave her we only need the kid." said the other guy who it seems to be the leader.

She ran towards the group and threw three 8 inches needles towards the guy who was dragging the child into the van and the other two who was not far from the first. She was able to hit the vital points on their nape that cause their paralyzation.

“sh*t. What’s happening!” one of the guys shouted in panic. The leader saw her and started to shoot at her then the other two kidnappers followed as well. She moved quickly to avoid the bullets then another three needles flew in the air hitting one of eyes of the leader. While the other two were hit between their ribs and penetrated their lungs and heart. 

“b*tch!”

She quickly grabbed the child who was shocked and in tears. The guy who was hit in the eye shoot at her again. She hugged the child and hid on the other side of the SUV. She saw a gun on the floor that must be from one of guys in suits.

She felt the boy trembling in her arms. His eyes were shut tight and his hands were covering his ears because of the loud noises coming from the firearms. He’s too young to experience this kind of violence and she’s worried about the psychological implications that this child might have.

“Don’t open your eyes and just cover your ears.” She said gently. “Just stay here. Everything will be fine, trust me.”

The boy was terrified. But he felt a bit of security when the lady came to his rescue. He knew how dangerous this situation his in and the only one who could help him was this lady. He needed to trust her. Without any hesitation he nodded in agreement.

Kristal saw how this boy was trying to be brave despite of the situation and she's proud of him already. At this young age, there were only few kids who can act like this. She smiled at him, kissed him on his forehead just to give him a little comfort before she let him go.

She carefully checked the position of the shooter and planned what she had to do next. She grabbed the gun on the floor and saw that there was only one bullet left. 'This is enough'

She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. She heard footsteps coming closer, she threw a rock to distract the man before she came out from her hiding and shoot the shooter. It was a direct hit on his upper left side of his chest, damaging the 1/4 of his heart. It will be impossible for him to survive.

"So what do you think Dr. Aiden? If we will expand the investment we can compete in the local market and enter the international market at the same time."

Keith gave a disdainful smile. "Mr. Lansa, do you think the Minamoto are stupid? Do you think I'm stupid?"

The middle age bald man in his suit started to sweat. His company was on the brink of bankruptcy and the Minamoto Group's investment was the only way that could save him. But Keith Aiden was one of the trusted members of the Minamoto Group that was hard to deal with.

“Please Dr. Aiden give me another chance. I’m not going to screw this up.” He pleaded and started to kneel down.

“I believe this meeting is over. Escort Mr. Lansa outside.” Keith ordered.

“Please Dr. Aiden, I’m begging you.” Mr. Lansa said while two men in black suit was dragging him out of the VIP room of a well-known exclusive restaurant in the city.

“Master Aiden, something came up.” Leo, his personal assistant reported. “Lady Nica and young master Nico was in danger and is in the hospital.”

“What!” Keith suddenly stood up, the cockiness earlier was long gone on his face. His sister and nephew were the only family he has left.  They accompanied him on this business trip for them to enjoy not put them in danger.

“Six men tried to kidnap young master but it seems that a woman tried to fight back and saved lady Nica and young master’s life.”

“Let’s go.”

They immediately left the restaurant and speed up to the hospital.

“Investigate this Leo. I need the result within 30 minutes.” Keith ordered without any emotions.

“Yes master.” Leo said then his fingers started to move on his laptop while sitting on the passenger seat. He could feel the frightening aura that’s coming from the back seat. He knew that someone will going to die soon. Someone had the guts to attack the Aidens. Huh, they didn’t know what they’re looking for.

They reached the hospital in no time. Keith almost ran just to reach his sister and nephew’s room. He immediately opened the door and walked in. The first thing that he saw was his nephew, sleeping on the sofa with his head on the top of a lady’s lap. He looked at her intently. He knew she’s on guard and was trying to protect the sleeping child on his lap.

Kristal was shock because of the sudden intrusion. She made sure that she will be able to protect the boy who was sleeping soundly on her lap in case of a sudden attack. She glared at the man who just came in. And it seems that, this guys is very familiar.

“Who are you?” They both asked.
