The moon hung above me, casting its gentle light on the big estate as I made my way to Eren's room. The air was cool, a relief from the stifling heat and tension that had been weighing me down since the past few days. I couldn't help but wonder about what was happening,what I had done, and how it had all changed.
The more I did, the more my actions burdened me. What was I even doing? Going to go see Eren at midnight.
There was something in his eyes, though—something that made me believe he got it. Maybe he could help me, get me to believe I wasn't completely alone here.
