A tear trickled from her eyes and fell on the paper, erasing the letters slowly with the tear. "what a loser! he could not right this with a waterproof pen also." The words came from behind, the source was familiar, to which she was hearing from the past two years. Cassie took the paper from her hand and made a crumpled ball of it and threw it in the dustbin. Leaving her in full shock, she gaped Cassie as if she had grown two horns. Her cheeks had dried tear marks on them and her indian complexion was combined with her now wide eyes which looked at her room mate with horror, not really able to process the current situation in her life. "He was a loser, sweet-heart. He didn't deserve you then, he doesn't deserve you now." Cassie stated with assurance. She nodded at her friend deep inside knowing that she was right. Cassie opened her cupboard and picked out a black dress which would show her curves perfectly, and threw it on her face. She sighed catching the dress in her hand and looked at the crumpled paper in the dustbin. "Look babe, I know he was your one and only boyfriend from past two years but he was never good enough and I have told you that 100 times but now it's high time you understand this whole thing. I know that first love have it’s own personal place in one’s life. But, you deserve better and not a scumbag like him. He cheated on you for heaven sake! you should have castrated him." She looked at her friend in horror. Was she really thinking of castrating her boyfriend which would be a serious criminal offence. Correction ex-boyfriend. "Castration, cassie don't you think you are taking it too seriously." "I was just showing you the depth of the situation, I didn't mean to do that literally." Cassie gestured her to relax with her hands. She stood and went near the photoframe near her table. She was hugging an old woman’s picture, whose skin was wrinkled and didn't contain any elasticity anymore especially on the face.
