Chapter one, it was time to run

My father always told me I was special, I just didn't realize how special I was until years later, my life turned upside down, when I didn't know I was a Wearwolf, We lived away from our pack, my mother always tried to protect me,she always said we weren't the normal kind of human, thousands of years has past, I've watched friends die, we watched the world move around us, buildings got built, hotels in stores, until one day I came home from school, my mother was sitting on the couch crying, I rushed to her to take her hands away from her face. I looked into her soft hazel eyes, " what's wrong mama,?" She didn't speak for a few minutes, she raised her head, "your father has died. They found us Skyler," "what, Wait, daddy is dead,?  Who found us?" She suddenly shot up from the couch, "Skyler run upstairs and pack everything you need to pack, listen if I don't come up stairs in ten minutes, here is the bus ticket to Beckley west Virginia, run and don't look back ok, Do you hear my Skyler?" "Yes momma I do" Skyler ran upstairs she hurried and packed what she could, she suddenly heard screaming and shuffling downstairs then she heard her mother, "SKYLER RUN NOW!" she froze for a few seconds, until she heard foot steps on the stairs. She opened her bedroom windows jumping out and running as fast as she could to the bus station, she made it just in time. She gave the man the ticket, then jumped on the bus, she got to her seat and set down, she sighed. She grabbed the letter that her mother written her that was attached to the ticket, " 

"Skyler my dearest daughter,  if your reading this, it means your on your own on the bus, I'm sorry my love, for always trying to protect you, someone will be waiting for you when the bus stops in Beckley, he is your protecter,  he will keep you safe, he will take you to your new home were you will be loved and cherished, "stay well my darling daughter,  love your mother and father"

I folded the letter in put it in my pocket. Laying my head back, I started crying. I cried all the way to Beckley, and that's when I found out I was a lot different and not just a human, that's when my life changed 

I lived a thousand  years I might live a thousand more," or I just might die tomorrow,

When I finally got to Beckley, I got off the bus, I stretched my arms and legs, it was a very long ride, I looked around and saw many people walking around, buses were coming and going, I saw a very tall strange man come toward me, when he got close enough, he asked. "Are you Skyler?" "Yes sir I am" he looked around with his silver gray eyes,."where is your mother" I looked down tears swelled up in my eyes, he sighed pulling me toward him," "I'm sorry Skyler,  you will be safe here , I'll protect you," I nodded, he had a very strong forrest smell to him, she was very confused, what did he mean he will protect me, he held onto her, walking her to a black SUV, they got in and drove off. She laid her head back into the back of the seat, Virgil looked back at her in the rear view mirror,"if your tired you can sleep, it's going to be a long ride," she laid down closing her eyes, all she could do was hear her mother's screams, she set back up, "I'm not that tired,", *I'll be ok,* "are you hungry Skyler," she shook her head no, "well if you get hungry," let me know," and we will stop somewhere," "yes sir," "you don't have to call me sir," my name is Virgil," "I'm your protecter," again she was confused, what did he mean. He was my protector, she brushed it off as she looked out the side window, tall oak trees were everywhere, deer on the side of the road eagles flying high in the sky, she looked harder, she could have sworn she saw a big black wolf looking right at her, shaking her head, she laid her head back in the seat, the next thing she knew, she was being woken up by Virgil saying they where home, he got out, then opened the door for her, she felt like she was a child going to summer camp, he was quiet for a few minutes, then suddenly she saw lots of people walking up, she was scared, Virgil, spoke, "don't be scared Skyler it's ok" they are all friends and family we all live here in the territory, she looked at her surroundings she saw so many cute cabins then her pink eyes landed on a very tall huge beautiful mansion,

She saw two people stepping out the door, a tall man 6.2 and a beautiful woman 5.6 when they got closer she could tell the man was muscular he had short brown hair, brown eyes, and very handsome, the woman had hazel blue eyes long blond hair that reached to her waist, she was very beautiful, he reached his hand out to her. "it's very nice to meet you Skyler," my name is Ron I'm the leader of this huge family," he chuckled just a little, "And my name is Spice it's very nice to meet you as well Skyler," they both turned to the crowd of people, "everyone" "I would like for you to meet Skyler," "she will be joining our pack, I mean family, Spice turned backed to Skyler smiling "come on" let me show you to your room," "I know you got to be tired," Spice walked skyler to the mansion, you will be on the third floor, they walked into the house and up the stairs, she unlocked the door to Skyler's bedroom, "here is your room dear, I'm sure you will want to freshen up," she left Skyler in her room, she she the door sighing, looking around she saw a queen size bed two dressers for her clothes, a walk in closet, she walked over to the huge window, she looked out into the woods, it seemed so peaceful here. Suddenly she heard someone talk, "hi Skyler I'm Angel" , she turned around and no one was there, she was so confused, she walked toward the bathroom, she opened the door, she was shocked a huge bathtub that looked like you could fit five people in there, a tall shower a sink in a toilet good she had to use the bathroom, she closed the door and did her business, she walked out, then heard the voice again, "ew at least wash your hands," "oh my goodness ". "Am I going crazy," "No your not going crazy" you will learn about me soon enough" "but please go wash your hands,"

Shaking her head, she washed her hands she walked back into the bedroom unpacking her clothes, when she was done, she was so tired, she laid on her bed, "I'm just going to close my eyes just for a few minutes. A few minutes later she was sound asleep,
