Alexander Renaud was a worried man. The summons from Margherita Dumas had sounded urgent, too urgent to be ignored. He'd made his excuses to Marlette before boarding the first available flight from Brussels to Zurich. He'd arrived late in the evening, too late to go directly to Dumas's office at the institute. He had no intention of visiting her at her home. Their relationship had become somewhat strained, and if it weren't for the boys, he would have refused her imploring call to come as soon as he could. Renaud knew that Margherita was no longer trustworthy.
