The scent

I was surprised when he looked into my eyes, with that dark intensity like that of a wild wolf, and smiled. But it was all a product of my imagination, wolves don't exist. It was not a smile of courtesy or sympathy. It was something more dangerous, something I knew I should avoid, but that, nevertheless, attracted me. "Come," he said, with a possessive tone that seemed to resonate in my bones. I wanted to say something. I wanted to protest, ask him what was happening, how I had come to that situation, but my words got stuck in my throat. All I could do was watch him as he stepped towards me, and at the same time he called me to him. I stopped for a moment, my eyes were now more attentive to every movement I made. I felt how the distance between us was shortened, and his scent began to invade my senses. I couldn't describe it, but it was unmistakable, like a mixture of wood and wet earth, something primitive and wild. "It's not the kind of meeting I'm used to," I said, barely in a whisper, my voice was shaking from the nervousness that I couldn't hide. He stopped right in front of me, his eyes shone with an intensity that made me feel small, and very vulnerable. "It doesn't have to be," he replied, his voice soft but confident. A slight touch of mockery played in his words, as if he already knew what he was going to say before he could even open his mouth. I tried to take a step back, but my body remained static, as if something kept me in that place, at that moment. He did nothing but look at me, but every time his gaze met mine, I felt that something was unleashed inside me, something dangerous but irresistible. "What you need to do, Alondra, is to shut up," he whispered, his voice now being deep and authoritarian. At that moment, I realized that there was no turning back. There was something in him, something dark and powerful, that told me that the night I was about to live would be like no other. My mouth opened to reply, but before I could say a single word, his hand quickly rose, stopping me. He placed it on my lips with a disturbing softness, and although I tried to move away, the contact only made me feel even more trapped, as if my whole being was in his hands. "Stay still," he ordered. And it wasn't a plea, it was a statement. As if the world I knew no longer mattered, as if I had no choice but to follow his rules. I felt the pressure of his hand on my mouth and the softness of his touch made me lose track of what was happening. My heart was beating hard, and the confusion was mixed with a strange feeling of attraction that I couldn't explain. Then, without saying another word, his lips slowly went down, as if he was savoring every moment before reaching what seemed inevitable. His kisses were not hurried, nor dominant, but soft and full of a need that made me shudder. My hands, which had trembled before, now moved on impulse. I wanted to touch it, but I didn't know how to do it. Something in me told me that if I did, everything would overflow, like a torrent without brakes. He surrounded me with his arms, attracting me to his body, and that's when I felt the force emanating from him, something bigger than anything I had experienced before. It was a presence that I could not ignore, that enveloped me and made me lose control of my thoughts. "You don't have to say anything," he murmured against my lips, as if he could hear my darkest thoughts. Then, without warning, he lifted me up easily, taking me to the bed with a dangerous delicacy. He gently laid me on the sheets, and for a moment, the world stopped turning. I was completely at his mercy, and although my mind told me that I should move away, my body did not want to move. Something inside me had awakened, and even if I didn't understand it, I was completely trapped in what was happening. His breathing was low and regular on me, and every time he inhaled, he felt the warm air escaping from his lips. His body was so close to mine that I could feel his warmth, an energy that completely enveloped me. He sniffed the air as if it were an animal, and made me shudder. "Your scent..." he whispered. As if he were discovering something he had never smelled before. He stared at me, his eyes as deep as darkness. Something wild shone in them, as if he were not a man, but something much more that made him shudder. My words died in my throat when I tried to say something. I was too overwhelmed, too captivated by his presence. I could only think of how close he was to me, how hot his body was against mine. "Stay tonight," he said, with a calm that only increased the tension between us. There was no doubt in his voice. It was an order disguised as an invitation. "I... stay tonight," I said still without fully understanding. "The next day, you won't know anything about me," he added, as if he was making sure I understood. "I don't usually repeat a woman, so only for tonight you're mine. A flash of something dark flashed in his eyes. I didn't know what to answer. My mind was completely blank, trapped between confusion, desire and fear. But something in his voice told me that it didn't matter what he said. I just had to stay still. And at that moment, his kiss fell back on my lips, strong and passionate, and the rest of the world disappeared completely. That's when he went deep inside me, making me feel that the world was disappearing. “Virgin? … You’re a virgin,” he said, somewhat amazed. "I was a virgin until you... you just made me a woman," I replied in a weak voice. That man whose name I didn't know, a big howl came out of his throat that made me feel even more excited.
